The more important question is...who determines what the definition of civilized is?

“There are many humorous things in the world; among them, the white man's notion that he is less savage than the other savages.”

Fortunately we have you who open our eyes to what is actually important, such as the fact that religion is an integral part of our being, never heard such a stupid thing except by a priest

She was spot but ego won't allow a lot of people to agree with her.
We are purely a sentimental being.
We Humans can never be civilized.
Anytime you try to be civil in one aspect you will surely increase barbarism in another aspect.

This is a contrived scenario of false actors. In the end, this was just a cunning way to do what a certain element of our culture has been doing for going on 60 to 80 years: incriminate and drive towards suicide, western civilization. The conversation makes the pretense of deep philosophical concerns- it's not- it's thinly disguised political warfare. I've watched Wieseltier play this game- he's a snake. He talked about leaving Europe and spitting at it as he leaves How Europe should not be homogeneous- but notice he doesn't say that about the Congo, Han China, or anywhere else in the world- just Europe.....he should leave....and as he leaves maybe someone will....to his teeth.
