Oh god, the amount of times I've said "Right, I'd best go - it's lovely to meet you" and I've not taken a number is shocking.. I once took a number and only realised a year! Needless to say after multiple times seeing them at the bar and still not texting them and a year later texting "I don't recall ever taking your number!" did not go down well
@ Well I've had a few situations where I ended up on an out of nowhere date with someone I've met, then I didn't catch any flags and just left without taking a number.. There was one time I ended up in someone's recently deceased nan's bungalow and we chatted a bit, her cat didn't like me very much.. And rather than get a number or stay the night, I just said "It's getting late, I'd best get off"
@@theshiftybloke4672 what I didn't understand is why taking somebody's number is important ? Is it that important and excuse my question if they seem annoying.
Those innate games that the English play are so complex, just like minefield for those who were not born here. So much subtlety and, dare I say, neurotic anxiety. That's why these videos are so very useful. Thank you
I was taught that if someone says " we should meet one day" at the end of the visit, its just a polite way of saying good bye with no intention to meet up unless being given some specific information
Yes, if it's just someone being friendly and polite, but if you think there is a 'romantic' vibe going on, then that person may be testing you to gauge your level of interest and response....
What’s the most confusing British flirting experience you’ve ever had? 😂
