I have differente files txt (about 52 files) and i have to use them all as data-set... how can I merge them? I know that it is possible to transform them into a unique .dta file for example, but I can't do it because the information I found on the net are not understandable for beginners....

In my opinion whenever you need to import excel file into Stata it's good to have variable names in the first row.
Secondly no blank rows between data rows.
