Aside from Shumi's and Karthik's exceptional discussions, communication skills, vocabulary, and memorable phrases (like the one Shumi used about "going for the same piece of tarmac"), I truly want to commend their entire team. The seamless transitions, camera angles, wardrobe choices, and background setups are all done to perfection. They deserve a significant raise whenever possible. India needs this level of excellence in this field, especially from home-grown channel of international standard. Capturing the essence of automobiles enthusiasm without heavily featuring them on screen is a remarkable way to keep the audience engaged. Nothing but love and appreciation from all of us to you all.
Karthikeya hit the nail on the head. The inherent causticness he mentioned, is one of the most toxic things where people aren't willing to accept that others are free to have their views and there is no reason for everyone to agree to say hakuna matata. Having the ability to coexist peacefully despite differences in opinion is something we should all strive to learn and inculcate in the next generation. It makes it the essence of what is it to be human.
Since the CB350 has been brought quite often in conversations on this channel of late, I guess its the right time to share that, my nearly 60 years old dad recently bought a Honda CB350, 3 weeks back. Just sharing a small clip from my TBHP first impressions of the same. We test rode RE Hunter 350, Meteor 350 and the Speed 400 before concluding on the Honda : "I was initially least interested to ride it. I just told my dad its okay, if he alone rode it. After 10 mins, he returned from riding it. I noticed something different. This was the first time I saw my dad having a huge smile on his face. Something that wasn't the case with the other two bikes. This triggered my curiosity and pushed me to take it for a spin. 10 mins later, I returned, the expression I had before I test rode it (uninterested and glum) was totally opposite to the one I had after I returned (utterly surprised and of course grinning). I thought the REs were smooth (they indeed are, REs have come a long way), but this was in another league. The thing I felt was so unbelievable was how, not even for a second I felt I was riding a bike having a kerb weight of 181 kg. The R15 is 141 kgs, I should be ideally be feeling it. But magically, I didn't! The exhaust note is also very soothing to the ear, resembling a gradually accelerating motor-boat with rhythmic beats. I hardly care its trying to replicate an RE and so its not exactly a "pure Honda". It sounds pure and rhythmic, period. Having just 20.2 bhp from the long stroke 350cc engine, yes it might feel slow, but seriously, I can see why people love these types of machines. Not everyone wants the fastest and loudest accelerating machines always. I can totally see the reason my dad was smiling. That was it. Next, we went straight to book and buy it. My dad usually, takes his time, when it comes to such decisions. But this time it was different. So I knew he really loves it." So, in our garage sits two R15s (my silver R15M and a R15 V4 blue of my brother) with a CB350. One bike which you guys absolutely love and the other which you absolutely don't recommend. Funny isn't it. I guess this further proves how much important a test-ride is. As much as CB350 gets looked down upon, I really respect, you guys emphasize on a test-ride. Motorcycles are absolutely heart over head at the end of the day. Excellent episode once again! (I also have found it extra entertaining, watching reddit about the recent argument between fanboys of both these bikes, considering what is in our family's garage :) )
Aniruddh. Same feeling. I rented this machine before I purchased my Speed 400. I noticed the same thing with the Honda and I equally pointed out to its owner the rusting I noticed. Is it perfect. By a long way not at all. But when I gave the bike back after a 72 hour period, I went back home smiling. If it were for pure feelings I would love a CB350 in my garrage too 😊. Completely agree with Shumi, feelings are important and being open minded with the flaws any vehicle brings is even better.
@@anandlakkaraju6825 Absolutely True. Each machine has its own character with its own flaws and benefits. Which character we relate to the most is the one we choose to live with in the end. No point in comparison on the keyboard. Just ride!
@@rohannnsurve That’s awesome. Love the NX500 design. Of course the Japanese guys, have a hard time getting the pricing right. But those who go for it definitely, won’t regret it atleast 90 percent of the case is what I feel.
Great topic and much needed for a majority of audience. Being a fan still means criticising when things go wrong just as much as we are celebrating. This goes for companies, brands and even political parties.
Whole youth spent watching Top Gear, Fan boying over the Cars/brands the trio drove. All learning toppled watching this episode realising what I was enjoying was never the Car/Brand but rather watching the experience they were having in it.
I recently test rode the gen 3 390 and it was on a whim. I was looking for a cafe to eat something nearby and saw that there was a KTM dealership about a kilometer from where I was, so I naturally thought it'd be a good chance to test ride the 390 since I'm considering buying a 400 soon. I was almost scared that I would be treated like the thing that young and reckless KTM riders get called, but the one person in that showroom was almost asleep (because it was after lunch) got up and treated me so nicely, explained everything patiently and gave me a helmet when I asked for one during the ride. Now, because of this, if I buy the 390 I am inclined to buy it from that dealership even though it is far from my home. People don't even get the basics right these days so I would be really happy if they participate in my excitement of buying my first bike. Thank you for another great episode.
@@adityantamarapu6239 I feel like you're unable to decide because they're both in the same price range rather than how they ride. Both these bikes are very different in how they feel to ride so if you have test ridden or rented them and tried them out and are still confused then you're probably not sure what kind of a rider you are. In which case you can look at the specs, mileage, service, etc. more closely and maybe that'll help, but if you like one over the other because of how you feel while riding it, then that's the clear winner.
Guys, thank you! I am grateful to have listened to this conversation. Without sponsorship, paid promotion, or brand affiliation, you have been doing this for 2 years now. More power to you! I am rooting for MotorInc.
I completely agree! Constructive criticism, even from the most dedicated fans, is crucial for growth. When we push for improvement, we show we care deeply about the quality and future of what we love. If we don’t challenge it, things often stagnate or decline. It's not about tearing things down but about building something even better. True passion is wanting to see something evolve, not stay the same.
The Reddit war between the CB 350 and R15 was the most cringeworthy thing I have ever seen in my short time as a motorcycle enthusiast. People worship their own choices and tear apart anything that doesn't align with their opinions.
@@Shemal.JustAnotherShrink I myself was a part of it and it was indeed more of a meme/shitpost than a 'war'. I'm surprised with the amount of people that didn't get this memo xD
Just remember, when it comes to brands, loyalty is a one way street. Also, there is a thin line between a fan and a fanatic. Between a patriot and a nationalist. The ability to be circumspect and offer genuine criticism is what differentiates the two.
@@sanjayyethipathi Wondering if you are willingly being naive or if you really do not understand that only when enemy/hostility at the door is not really a threat. BTW, we do have 3 hostile nations at our borders, and then there are those who use their media and narrative to cause disturbance in this blanket identity of the nation.
Please consider making a thisconnect on tires and brakes in great detail. Different types of tyres like radial, non radial, thread patterns, sizes, tyre brands, best tires in segment and their prices, which type of tyre for different conditions, brakes- brake fluid, callipers, axial and radial brakes, braided hoses, different types of after market brakes etc.
Once out of poor judgement I drowned my NS 200 in heavy rain and that was and still is my first bike and it was my first major issue with my bike, and as I went to the service station with it and I was literally robbed by the service station by saying "your crank is bent due to you trying to start the bike" and I believed it and told them to do anything to get my bike in the real condition and MAN OH MAN the bill was to get a heart-attack seeing the Durga Puja was next week, and from then whatever happens I don't rely on service centers I take I to the most trusted mechanic is my local area who is properly transparent to me and is open about his labour cost and and the parts cost and is a mint mechanic. and for people who tell me your warranty will get void I answer them if there bike's condition is better than mine.
In this case, I need a suggestion from you. I really want to buy suzuki access 125 and the dealer is 100 kms away from my home. Should I consider buying it? I mean we have the insurance from there plus the free services from there? How will I manage those?
I recently had an opportunity to test ride both Royal Enfield and Honda's 350s. While I appreciate the craftsmanship of RE I must admit that I didn't quite enjoy the experience. They don't have proper test bikes of classic and meteor and the staff who was assisting the ride trying to convince me to choose the classic over meteor. In contrast, I found Honda's staff were trying to assist me with my decision making. They provide me all 3 CB 350s and the CB 300r to test ride. As I neither have strong philosophy nor experience as much as Shumi does I found out CB 350 is good product for me if not the best. So I booked that motorcycle and will be getting it soon. Thank you Shumi,Kartikey and whole Motorinc family 💙
The feeling welcome part is one of the reason I have a duke 390 now. I wasn't into the duke before but I went to the showroom for a service job interview, that's where I saw it up close for the first time and heard it too. I had driven the domi400 before and liked that so I had an idea of what to expect but first time seeing the duke upclose changed everything. I went back to showroom just to look at the bikes again. A sales guy greeted me like normal and I told him that I was just there to look and my first experience with the duke. They were happy for me to look around, sit on the bike and turn it on, etc. I loved the feel and they even had a adv390 available for test ride but I didn't feel like doing a test ride because I wasn't going to buy a bike. The sales guy insisted and almost got me to sign up. Almost a year later I was back at the showroom to buy a duke 390 but they didn't have the adv for test ride anymore, they had a husqy 250 which I wasn't that interested in. They later helped me to get a test ride on the adv 390 at another showroom it was taken to. It felt like everything I hoped and more. It took a long time to get the bike but it was worth it, and the first happy experience at the showroom did help me during the waiting time.
Was recently test riding a lot of bikes with my friend who’s getting a new bike. A random quote from our sir just struck my mind while listening to you guys. Bike hi lena hai shaadi nahi kar raha hai, if it doesn’t work then you can sell and move ahead.
I currently own a Honda Highness, and I agree with Shumi. The rusting issue is accurate even after proper care. The service centres started losing the premium treatment. I bought a Bajaj Dominar 400 touring as a second bike, but after experiencing the shim noise and arrogant and unsympathetic service centre guys, I decided to sell it. There is no perfect bike or brand. We need to experiment and take the call!
People should be fans of products rather than brands. A great brand could have a shitty product, and a shitty brand could have a great product. This isn't just limited to automobiles.
I have been watching Shumi since I was getting into the world of motorcycle and I feel proud that today he could absolutely be himself blunt and brutally honest about his POV and the way he speaks about motorcycles is exactly why all the new teenagers who are getting in the world of motorcycles should aspire him to be their mentor because let me tell you he’s not just a journalist his heart beats in sync with the rhythm of all the motorcycles he owns because its not only enthusiasm its much more to dive into the depths of the ocean of this world of two wheels and he’s the one to look upto
In 2014 i had a yamaha fzs. Back then around my friend’s circle the royal enfield was a thing. I was caught in that too. All i wanted to own at that point of time was a classic 350. What my thought process was that, my fz is 150cc it has this much power, what an amazing experience a 350cc classic will be. Then, one of my friends bought a classic 350 and i got a chance to ride it. 2 minutes into the ride, there was nothing that was as disappointing as the 350 in my life. The engine was way too sluggish for me, the brakes were so so so poor that I couldn’t even think of doing the speed which i did on my fz, and it vibrated the crap out of me. It was a real real let down for me. What motorinc said in this podcast is spot on. Haven’t i had the opportunity to ride my fz extensively , i wouldn’t have understood what the “other world” of motorcycles feels like. And just like the public trend back in the day, i would’ve chosen the 350 and would’ve lived with a subpar experience which is far from what i love about bikes. Here in 2024, I’m getting the test rides of all the bikes available in the market in the category that im going to upgrade to,to get a sense of it , sometimes even test riding the same bike from different dealers so that i get to spend more time with it and get to know the bike better. Kudos to the team for bringing out such content.
Wow! Your experience is very similar to mine. The only difference is I had a Gixxer 2015 model and it was most fun to ride motorcycles I ever had. Then I caught up in the RE wave and bought the UCE classic 350 which is the worst thing that happened to me. No power, No handling, no fun, vibrated like hell, it was just a mess
Im so glad that you people are sharing such stuffs from your experience to us. Im just 22, have my first motorcycle, learning new things and amidst all, these few hours of conversations from these veterans is so so good. Thanks!
After hearing Kartikeya say that Hondas are so easy to ride and so supportive to the rider that they become boring after a while, I remembered that Shumi bought a CB750 and got so bored of it in a year that he sold it, even after sacrificing so much to buy it. I wonder whether that Honda felt boring even at that time, or if it was just too easy for Shumi and didn't challenge him enough to go fast.
Honda is a world class brand & they doesnot make motorcycles to satisfy any particular individual needs or to please any individual by making the bike based on any person's interest. If shumi claims that he gets bored of Honda so very quickly then he had to prove that he can ride CB1000rr-r Fireblade just like Marc Marquez & Honda Africa twin just like Toni Bou!! I think it depends on the skill of the rider more to get the thrill & make the most out of the bike.
@@abhishekdasgupta1640 valid point👍👍 I once asked in the comment section that why didnot they review Honda transalp 750, suzuki vstrom 800DE then the motorinc team replied to my comment saying that those bikes were not in their pipeline. Then how come they reviewed & discussed about Nissan X trail( which priced around 50lakhs & only few units to be sold for the initial lot) ?? 🤔🤔
@@abhishekdasgupta1640very well said! Totally agree. I still remember Shumi once said when he was associated with p*werd*ift that Honda CB500x ( which is currently known as Honda NX500) blew his mind when he rode it for the very 1st time because of the nature of the bike. Though the bike is very easy to ride but you literally gets to feel the torque right from the ideal rpm to its higher limit. That's how Honda's bullet proof twin cylinder engine is!! Almost every other youtube channels have reviewed the bike or shared their 1st impressions regarding the bike. Only Honda didnot make the bike available to them, is that what we have to believe now??🤔
@@abhishekdasgupta1640 I got bored and annoyed of my Honda CBR650F in less than a year, sold it. This can be debated endlessly but the fact remains the same. For many it might be not boring but I wonder why there is no 'Boring' word associated with other brands. When I rode a Ninja 1000,I never felt I will get bored of it ever. But when I test rode an Africa Twin the 'boring' thought came back in the first instant itself and same with NX500 and Transalp. There was lack of excitement in every Honda I rode. I bought the 650F since I never experienced other big bikes before that. I don't know what Honda does, but their vehicles lacks 'soul'. You can keep Honda for 30+ years, but none of the ownership time will be exciting. Like rightly said its your preference, you want durability or riding experience. As a pure enthusiast I think it should be latter.
Started watching this channel a month back. Watched nearly all the videos and learned a ton. Just sharing a few things I follow while on road. 1. Whenever I am in a situation, be it crossing or overtaking, if I know I CAN do it, I do it. While on a road, if the "CAN" changes to I MIGHT be able to do it, I just DON'T. I back off and wait for the next opportunity when it presents itself. Patience in other words. 2. When I am on a two wheeler behind a large vehicle (where I can't see through the windshields), which I cannot overtake, I do not trail on the line running through the centre of the vehicle. Instead I stick to the line behind the passenger side tyres to avoid getting caught in something that slips through between the vehicle's tyres.
46:23 Man that Mojo to Jawa underdog conversation hit hard. I've been a person who wanted the underdog (never bought a bike, just wanted). This conversation opened up my mind to the mainstream things. The yezdi roadster's been my love for a while but now Royal Enfields look more obvious and I think for a good reason.
TBH MOJO may be a *LEMON*, giving a sour and distasteful flavor in stopping the production ! But is definitely a *DEMON* in not having big defects that substantially affects its use, or safety if not for value. Means that the minor faults aren't serious enough making it difficult or impossible to use ! MOJO gives gr8 experience in mobility and tranquility, seriously, which the current stock ceases to give! From, (2017BSIV ¦ 156296kms driven) Still its a solid Rockstar ❤
The reason why i seem to connect with this podcast is that in the age of overload of information. Misrepresentation of facts and agenda/narrative driven content, you guys are a breathe of fresh air with the objectivity and displaying the stuff as it is and no beating around the bush. Which i absolutely love. I am currently 19 and learning a lot from you guys in the last months in both facets of my life which is the motorcycling and non-motorcycling part and i am so glad i found your page. I love your content please keep it going and i will still be here when i discover what type of motorcycles i really like and put a smile on my face and/or gets the blood flowing in my system 😂. PS since there will be extra episodes, i will be getting the membership. Love you guys ♥️
I remember destroying the notion of being brand loyal when i was obsessed with mobile phones. From the times of the iphone 5 onwards and it was so popular to take a side between android and apple and to clown on the other. I just learnt that if i can find a really good experience from whatever brand, i know ill have a good time. This is what ive done with all my other purchases till date, and its been great
Reminds of my first bike purchase, when I wanted to buy a bike I always inclined to buy Gixxer 250 sf but that didn't happen then. Fast forward to a time when I'm financially stable to buy one it's not even close (both in terms of price & quality. But I love that emgine tho). Since it'd be my first bike, I've explored all bike categories & brands. The last showroom was yamaha & I had less interest after looking at their lineup. But look at me me now bought MT15 v2, even my father who used to love bikes but not into sporty engines loves it. Everytime I take it out for a ride, even for a bumper to bumper traffic, I'll comeback with a smile on my face. That's what matters for me. Regarding arrogant experience, I experienced it when I was looking to buy a MacBook and a third party dealer in my hometown. The manager was so arrogant that I didn't even consider purchasing from him. But I love the purchase experience from a tier 1 city I live in. The end of episode😢. I think the episodes will only be streamed only on their website from now on 🤔
Mate I was in the same boat. For almost 3 years I saved up to buy a Gixxer after riding the 155 once. But man was the SF250 was such a disappointment except the engine. Made me lose complete interest and ended up buying an Apache RR310 instead
Fantastic podcasts. Loved it. You guys nailed it. The issue with Fanboys (especially Tata and Mahindra ones) is that they don't understand that a lot of people, I mean more than 90%, are buying an automobile with their hard earned money and they want something that clicks with them so that their big investments are justified as this is something that will always depreciate. So hope people respect other people's decision. One more point, on showroom experiences, I think it just a people thing. I mean the sales guy thing as I have had a bad experience with one sales guy and an amazing experience with another in the same showroom.
Here's a lil appreciation to ThisConnect, Shumi and Kartikeya! I recently moved to the US, and the first few days were terrible in terms of jet lag and exhaustion so much so that I started losing sleep. Looking back at it now, I recall how every night I used to crash listening to ThisConnect or MotorIncFirst as if they were a solace to my soul here. They kept me company in this sparse state of Missouri when I practically had noone. Keep up the good work people, we love hearing you talk!
This video of brand loyalty was excellent. I Learned this lesson with mobile phone and then applied it to all the brands. And Just like shumi I was a Yamaha fanboy. After using FZ16 for 15 years, I really wanted to step up. But they don't make anything apart from 150cc bikes. And MT03 is just out of the reach with ₹5L price tag. It seems they don't want the business. I feel that these company brands have strategically made us forget that the Customer is the King. We have the power to avoid going for a product that doesn't give us the experience or a step up from the previous experience from the same brand. We as consumers have a plethora of choice and we need to try it all before landing on an informed decision. Brand Loyalty does not bring us anything but the brand itself to have an inflated ego. Honda motorcycles india is the best example of this.
By the way, I just observed that Kartikeya's energy and passion stood out on this podcast. Kudos to both of you. I agree, that brand loyalty can make a person's ability to have different experiences very myopic with blinkers. Since my time immemorial, I have never had an affinity towards a particular brand. I have gravitated towards the experience that vehicle gives me while I ride it. I have made mistakes, but I have also learned from them. Again amazing podcast!
Yesterday only I went to the service station and there were 3 goldwings, 3 Africatwins, 1 vfr1200, 1 fireblade and 4 cbr650 and numerous 350s what a unity in diversity 😂😂. I have spoken to multiple cb350 owners and have asked them why they bought the bike and most people replied they wanted a RE with Honda reliability. I have been a brand loyal towards maruti suzuki as I have enjoyed the products they made the 800, Ritz, scross. But when I was planning an upgrade from scross the first showroom i went to was a suzuki but there was nothing. I don't think grand vitara is better than my 6 years old scross. So this time moved from them to Mahindra, and kudos to Mahindra they are slowly making me loyal to them. We are just 40 years of age please don't call as old 😢😢 but GPCC 😂😂😂 For the next week please talk about how can we make our roads safer. Safer cars are there but we need safer road. In Bangalore there is a new rule which states if you are caught doing 130+ there will be direct FIR on you no spots, do you think this will make people drive safely.
You ain't old till you realise and feel old. I ride here in the states with a guy who's 78 and rides a H2 as well as Gen 1 6r and an old 900cc fireblade which was recently well restored.
CB350 is not a RE with Honda's reliability. Its a RE design copy with Honda's expensive service. I think everyone has to accept this narrative and that is why Shumi asked to take a test ride of every bike. Classic 350 does NOT ride like a CB350. Its analogous to saying Speed 400 does NOT ride like a Duke 390.
A Japanese fanboy here. Our family has had a Maruti 800, Honda City, Toyota Fortuner since I was born. And my father had a Yamaha and Kawasaki when he was in the Army. The one reason I like these are cause they don’t break at all and have been so good to us. In particular, me driving a Honda city for the last 6 years of the 14 years we owned it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. Thanks to this channel I’m considering other brands as I understand the reality of quality control these days. Great podcast guys!
*"Andha karne ka dandha!"* That's exactly what everybody do in the name of "BRAND"! Whatever it is, I'll be loyal to MotorInc & a fanboy of Shumi & Karthikeya coz they are loyal to the customers/audience, understand what we as customers want & are unbiased in their opinion. ❤💘
Great point Shubhabrata, sales people kinds forget that prospect customers are humans with emotions and not just another number on the board or report. Be kind to everyone.
Yea it sucks , today I have gone to service my bike the have given me the gate pass of another vehicle & they also lost my vehicle job card .@@motorinc
Yea it sucks 😔, this is the one of the area they are consistent at giving terrible coustomer service, every time they find a new way to make it terrible at this point I am actually curious that how will they make it even wose next time .@@motorinc
The conversations you guy have about brands and vehicles and experiences makes us feel there is so much more out there to feel and relish and enjoy vehicles. So glad that some of us atleast get to hear them out from your experiences when may be most of us dont have such an access to experiencing super bikes or super cars🤗🤗🤗🤗
You guys are so absolutely correct. I was a Yamaha fan boy and a BMW fan boy, but after 39 years of riding & driving feel I should have been more open minded to look at others too. 😎. Now I focus more on the soecific machine and not the brand.
Ok calling Mojo as a 'Lemon' shows that you are such a bad review(This is the second time I am catching you on your BS ) . The fact is review is about the ride experience, for people who are not into sitting on a pocket rocket and wants to cruise for 600 or 700 kms a day! Mojo is a beast !! I still remember riding from Mangalore to Goa for a tea ride and back thats 960 kms! Then enjoy watching infinity war. Was the best day in life. For in comparison I did the same ride on a r15V1 I was dead for 3 days strait! I understand your review comes from the perspective of peddle to the medal kind of a guy. Mojo is a kind of a motorcycle that makes your learn motorcycling easy, it forgives you on your mistake. Yes it's not angry like KTMs where it will thow you off the seat. Mojo USD was one of the best suspension for indan roads. Also learn the definition of lemon! A lemon is a vehicle with a major defect or malfunction that affects its safety, value, or use. As I remember I had zero issues, unlike my a friend of mine where his RE GT is out for service every 500 kms, with parts falling off.
@@pratiknath1712 Squid, my point is he ls calling a good bike a Lemon. Gloating about his experience is all good and dissing CB 350, Mojo Jawa is fine. But! calling that 'Out there, borderline lemons! ' and people who buy them as 'unfortunate pattern' is not correct! 2 videos later he says 'We as costomers lack of courage of not buying other than established Brands', sounds not great. In the previous episode he made a list of things he dose on the Ducati to keep it running, as I am saying I did't have to do any of that too keep my Mojo or my Jawa running. I know many didn't have to do valve clearance check up to a 1 lack kms. There are Mojos run with 2L+ on odos without opening engine to replace gaskets (Sorry KTM). As a person who owned 8 (all new by the way) 2 wheelers ( currently 3), I know what is a real lemon and what's not. In the string of motorcycle i owned least issues were Mojo and Jawa after all Japanese brands. Owning Mojo for 5 years, I had to only change a battery, chain and sprocket that it! I was never stranded on the motorcycle. Mojo Jawa felt Japanese in many ways, yes there were first edition issues on Jawa, like a speedo, shock. But noting like blown gasket, oil leak, coolant, leaking fork seal, break failure or catching on fire. On Mojo and Jawa I was never stranded, a list of Mojo riders can vouch that. Motorcycle becomes lemon when they are known for getting stranded middle of nowhere frequently or you had 3 or more Major known issues. I was never stranded on a Mojo or Jawa ( They were one of the best built engine from India ). He being a person who is a reviews motorcycle as a job needs to keep that in check on jargon what he uses.
Bang on point! brand Loyalty and Preference are two difference things altogether. It's high time, fanboys recognise this fact and don't get offensive at everything and everybody which sits outside their vision.
A top notch as always ❤ i am tired of praising u guys,, oh have i become loyal to Motorinc Brand ? 😅❤ YES!!!! COZ U GUYS ALWAYS DELIVER LOVE & PEACE ✌🏼🕊️
I can remember similar experiences in my life and can closely relate to the 'Ferrari sticker' experience of Kartikeya.. thanks for creating this knowledge movement 👍
I am new to the world of motorcycles, my love and appreciation was only for cars since childhood, as i grew to have a job, it became a necessity to me to buy a bike for my office commute, but i am scared of them. These podcasts have made me more secure, more mature about two wheelers and i am now discovering my obsession for bikes. Thankyou for everything you guys do. I am glad this made me a better person and a rider. ❤️
Wow.. I completely resonated with you guys. I really don't care about brands. Fyi I work as a branding & marketing consultant :) I used to ride a rx100, rx 135, electra and after a gap of 4 years I started test riding bikes for touring and bit of commuting. After test riding the ktm adv, vstrom 250, interceptor and the himmy 450. I immediately fell in love with the himalayan and my buying decision was based on the feeling I got from the moment I sat on it to test riding it. I just felt connected and it had a personality. Everyday since then this bike makes me smile everyday.. lol i even talk to it like a person. 7k kms after I'm still in love :) my best buying decision so far. I do think bikes of today are all not so bad it just boils down to a personal preference and the connection with the bike. It unfortunate how some keyboard warriors bad mouth certain bikes they hate and their owners...maturity is needed.
Hi Shumi and Kartik , I am new viewer of Motorinc and Thisconnect. I love your conversations and getting whole new understanding of how to judge vehicles and learning riding ethics. I want to know the special qualities of your own vehicles in both of your garages. With so much knowledge and experience of vehicles , what special feeling and qualities of your own vehicles made you buy those vehicles like Ignis , Tuono , Multistrada , Hayabusa etc. And what is the next vehicle on your wishlist you guys are aiming to buy next and detailed why. I love your show. Hands down best show on youtube. I learn so much every episode of both series. Thankyou for sharing your knowledge and experience to make the next generation of riders better.
Karthik and Shumi., you both are True Legends! My respect for your in-depth knowledge about the Indian Automotive sector and always bringing that ‘fresh’., ‘unbiased’ and most importantly ‘honest’ opinion! Always stay this way 🙏🏻
This is one of the best episodes so far 🔥🔥 Motorinc is just competing with itself at this point...the environment and community they have created here is just unbelievable! (Pls review big bikes too 😭)
@@motorinc I've never went through comments which are genuinely useful and thought provoking like this motorinc comments...i hope our motorinc community continues to be this as it gets bigger and better!!
At this point I am watching Motorinc not to know about bikes or cars I am watching it to know about how to live life... Always love your perspectives they are awesome even when taken in the context of life advices.
Another bigger issue that I find these days is "BRAND HATRED". We need to understand that Loving a brand doesn't mean we have to hate other brands and treat them as rivals. We customers can always demand the good parts from other brands. Just imagine a world with- Build of TATA Refinement of Hyundai and Maruti Dynamics of VW Design of KIA Marketing of Mahindra Certainly Utopian 😅
You won’t believe what happened yesterday 🥹 Met a fellow motorinc watcher yesterday in leh. Got to know about it after talking to him about 3 hours of conversation when i mentioned shumi’s multistrada and he was like oh ya he also watches the podcast. Small world i am from delhi and he is from pune. Now we plan on meeting again and ride together 🙂
This was one great episode, like all the others are. I feel all the top honchos of all the car and bike manufacturers should listen to MotorInc just so that they get the pulse of the general public and improve their products. And I sincerely hope the next episode isn't gonna be the last of season 2. Listening to you guys is so calming. 🙂
@17.25 : Brand Loyalty is US The Driver or The Rider ''THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE'' in any good product is The Loyalty We as Buyers Must Value Thanks karthik and Shumi for Drumming this into our thought process Another 1 Hour Just Flew By and You Are Both Credited With This Knowledge Gained Feeling 👌👌👍👍
This was a delightful conversation. The point about extreme loyalty based on nostalgia or brand PR, being, respectively, a subset of fear and inertia and a cause of blindsidedness is very well made. I feel though that the discussion remained product-focussed for the most part. I'd have loved to get the panel's take on brand loyalty arising out of different factors too, like the service network, in the case of Maruti Suzuki for eg., where people may be willing to trade some relative product inefficiencies in terms of power and dynamics even when moving higher up the value chain simply for the guaranteed peace of mind based on the wide-spread service centre network and positive after-sale experience and thus, their brand loyalty would be forged from that and not the product itself in isolation (when compared to its direct segment rivals).
I have watched every single episode of motorinc since the inception , and my goodness there is no channel like yours across India , and that’s saying a lot ! I am an owner of an UCE classic 350 (didn’t know any better back then 😂) , soon going to be on the market to replace it , and thanks to you ppl , I have a feeling I will make a better buying decision 😊 not that I am a RE loyalist , but I am waiting for the 650 based classic , but I am certain , huge speed and excitement are not my thing, I just want my bike to evoke feelings when I see and when I ride it , and looking for a suitable replacement while trying to be pretty brand agnostic , wish me luck 😊
Man I go into meditative state listening to you guys talking. Hope I get to meet you both someday. This video is spot on !. I was too a fanboy but over time I learnt about the 'experience' factor by making some mistakes. To me the experience is not only about the driving but also the after sales, maintenance, reliability etc. My experience says never talk to a fanboy if you want to purchase a product. Not getting a critical feedback from them is a red flag. Because once you buy the product the same fanboy starts to open up about the issues, and by then its too late. Post that you become part of the fanboy tribe and unwillingly you have to talk good and force yourself to think good about the product. Thinking otherwise will cause self doubt mostly catalysed by the fanboys. The fanboy tribe will talk bad about other products despite of not experiencing it and since you don't want to be outcasted, you too start invalidating other products. To substitute above point, my fanboy club was that of Honda(I had CBR650F) and the brand the tribe was critical about is RE. After I did a lot of introspection and thinking out loud, I violated the fanboy rules and test rode an interceptor and a himalayan. That was an eye opener, I regretted my Honda decision and for a while went into depression. I should have bought these rather than putting my hard earned money into Honda due to the fanboy's misguidance. RE gave me everything I wanted which Honda just did not. I learnt my lessons hard. I know a friend who bought a CB350 without even test riding anything else. He is ok with rusting bolts, expensive and non-sensical service, no connection while riding the bike etc. simply because 'Hey its a Honda'. This is despite me sharing my experience. Now I have adopted Shumi's way of love-hate relationship. I am critical about RE where it has to be and with no mindless fanboyism. Telling half truth is a grey lie like Tata's not revealing the 65KPH crash testing or perhaps Honda fanboy's hiding the fact of expensive and delayed service, high frequency vibrations, sluggish 650F etc. My RE had rusting screws is a reality, but they replaced every single screw voluntarily is a reality as well. Taking brand loyalty for granted by the manufacturers is spot on, and I see that's happening often with Honda since I own a Honda car and never had been unhappier. It is very unfortunate that the tribe is not vocal about the issues. Channels like TeamBhp ensured such false narratives are marketed e.g. their narrative about substandard Fiat after sales experience. If I rate Fiat as 7/10, I would rate Honda a 3/10, Period. Fiat repainted my car's boot free of cost 4 years after I found some issues in the paint, can I expect that from Honda?. Honda leaves my seat soiled and greasy after service. Fiat came to me with a flower bouquet as a sign of apology for that, expect that from Honda :D . This is the misguidance I got from Honda fanboys, they were never vocal about the issues but critical about Fiat without even owning one.
Given everything you said, sure brands are transient and ever evolving, yet a few core values often stay undisturbed. It’s a very powerful experience to have that consistency through machines and people that run the dealership and service centres.
Great topic that needed a real round of applause..To be honest, I am very loyal to Fiat brand from day one and it never changes for sure..but that doesn’t stop me from criticising by pointing out the wrong ideas and strategies they put forward..Right from the Palio days to the abarth’s that we got, there had been a lot of issues to be dealt with..I have never been able to be comfortable in a Fiat’s driving seat, to find the right seating posture was a heck of a job which should have been one of the most basic things they should have sorted out..at the same time, it doesn’t stop be from loving that brand.. Here the thing is, I love the positives in any Fiat and I can live with the negatives..you don’t need to defend your brand blindly for that matter..that’s it #Fiat for life#
I have been working my way towards a three vehicle garage which should consist a fun daily use, a relaxing comfy tourer and a good car. Now while this theme for me is consistent, the vehicles forming that theme keep on changing and will keep on changing as my purchasing power varies. Fortunately that theme doesn't allow me to fanboy for a particular bike, I might get a MT15 in future instead of the Xtreme 160r for daily use and a classic for tours and a brezza. I don't like Bajaj but NS200 is very appealing to me. Apache rtr 200 is the only bike in entire TVS lineup that I will buy in a heartbeat. Scooter means burgman to me, and if I ever get a superbike it will probably be either a cbr650r or a vstrom 800 DE. I can't pinpoint like you guys what exact qualities I look for in vehicles, but I test rode quite a few and these were the one stuck with me. If anything it puts me in much more peaceful position like oh there are quite a few options to look for while being acutely aware of each of their shortcomings.
Bro i wish u read this comment. That KB 125 story made me cry. I had a similar one. I used to be too cool in college to buy a splendor and too poor to afford a CBZ. There was a bike called Ambition 135, and I had it narrowed, but I didnt like its retro headlamp. I thought aloud, I wish this lamp came with a fairing. 2 months down the line, the revamped Ambition came with faired headlights and cooler decals and the dealer called me personally. He said u have an eye for bikes. He ensured I got the first bike and also put in 2 ltr worth of petrol extra in my tank, all of 50rs back then, 2002. And its still my happiest memory of buying any vehicle, even though I have had like 5 to 6 two and four wheelers after.
Much-needed discussion! I believe the conversation could have been extended further, as this fanboying mentality is prevalent throughout our society and often transcends into a form of worship culture. For instance, I've encountered people who almost deify Shumi (as if 'the Lord has spoken') and MotorInc. While having followers and a dedicated fanbase is perfectly fine, and MotorInc is an excellent platform for educating people about vehicles and more. Treating anyone, anything, or any entity as equivalent to a god is dangerous. Also,is it possible to start season 3 ASAP 😂. Looking forward!
Steve Jobs said : “Some people say, "Give the customers what they want." But that's not my approach. Our job is to figure out what they're going to want before they do. I think Henry Ford once said, "If I'd asked customers what they wanted, they would have told me, 'A faster horse!'" People don't know what they want until you show it to them. That's why I never rely on market research. Our task is to read things that are not yet on the page.”
I did fanboyism once and it backfired at me. I bought an Apache RTR 160 4v after watching RUclips and asking everyone else; everyone told it was the best bike in the segment and I called the showroom to have it delivered to my doorstep I didn't like the bike and sold it after a year. I was in the market for a small car. I test drove the Ignis and liked it, Everyone told me it was an unsafe car; it was ugly, but I trusted my senses, and I have been happily driving the car ever since. I think the suggestion this channel is giving out almost every episode is to go and test ride and I would like to add to it that try to get the longest test ride as possible, try to get test rides from different vehicles and try test rides on different days.
I had the same experience. I drove the Ignis and liked it very much. Everyone else was recommending the i10, Punch, etc. I test drove those cars but didn’t like them as much as I thought I would. I decided to look past everyone’s opinions and bought the Ignis, and the experience has been great. Even after getting the car, people ask me why I bought it and suggest I should have bought other cars instead. But I don’t care because it satisfies all my needs, and I know I made the right decision.
One more perspective to the "brand loyalty" factor is that, a lot of people (this is me actually) who get their first bike automatically assume that's their brand. I blindly rooted for Royal Enfield for a long time and thought that's how a bike should be, and I was so close minded that a simple Pulsar 220f that im renting right now is so much fun compared to C350 that I still own since 2017. It's all about what excites you, people. Looking to get a nice bike from the 400cc section soon since 220f has shown me how much it can do and I wanna see more 😅
I never bought memberships ever for any channel, just a youtube premium and Spotify premium subscriptions. But, man if I could buy one, that will for you guys.Maybe one day 😅
I am one of the guys that is having a lot of fun test riding the 400cc class bikes. I have a Gixxer SF 150 2015 model that is used just for errands, and a car for office commute. Was looking to get back to riding for fun on weekends that is pillion friendly, and on paper I was thinking I would like the scrambler 400x. 6 months back I test rode Himalayan 450, speed 400, scrambler 400x, duke 390, ktm adv 390, harley x440. KTM guys were closing the shop at 5:30pm and gave me a short test ride of duke 390 and adv 390. I stalled the duke at lower gears, wasn't used to this engine character, but still liked them and didn't eliminate them. Liked the x440, had a good midrange torque but didn't feel like what I wanted. Speed 400 felt like a faster Gixxer 150, very nimble but felt small and familiar. Scrambler 400x felt bigger and was different. Both bikes had very linear acceleration, I didn't fell any torque pull even though they were accelerating quick. The test ride path was full off traffic and didn't feel good, wasn't able to test the post 6k rpm buzz properly. Himalayan immediately put a smile on my face, that mid range torque was amazing, the vibes didn't bother me. Also RE test ride experience was great, gave ample time and the path had both traffic and free road. Himalayan was the favorite but I had other commitments, so put the decision on hold. A week back went to KTM, RE and a different Triumph showroom for test rides on a Saturday. KTM guy said he didn't have the test ride bikes for 390 duke/adv and husq 401 currently, and told me to come on Monday, so I eliminated them. Scrambler 400x test ride was better now, it was very easy to ride in traffic and the buzz past 6k bothered me a little, the acceleration even though linear was still exciting. Himalayan gave the same amazing feeling and the Guerrilla felt good too. Thinking of renting the Himalayan 450 and Scrambler 400x and decide. I would have pulled the trigger if the Himmy 450 tyres were tubeless.
Thanks for this wonderful episode, sadly this season is coming to an end and I can't wait for the next one. Some day, if possible you guys should talk about riding gear, different gearboxes, engine tech etc.
38:10 hard relate. What shumi shared here is very true. I was out to get my first car and went to inquire about Swift, the sales guy wasn’t interested in entertaining any request of mine. I was passing by VW showroom and stumbled in because polo was love (still is) the VW sales guy asked me to take a test drive and I said it’s out of my budget , he simply said “no worries sir, you can recommend it to your friends or Atleast try out what VW is offering” 1 test drive. I got my GT TSI the next week. But this ties into this video as well , I am hardcore VW loyalist but I tried out Mahindra and ended up getting Thar and XUV 700 because at this point of time XUV offered me the tech and performance that I wanted at my current driving skill set that VW wasn’t offering within my budget. Thar is offering me that “experience” that no other car except Gurkha can offer.
Great topic! honestly, to me brand loyalty with age has morphed into "if they are even in ballpark of what i am looking for i'm jumping in that den". It's definitely hard to quench the bias or desire i have towards some brands while making these choices. I have gone through the blind brand phase and if I said i regret it then i would be lying, but as shumi said let people make mistakes and they understand 😂and so did I. Also GPCC is gold😂
13:00 Shumi I am really glad you said it I own a 2004 Honda Eterno 150 Olive Green The clutch has lasted believe it or not 20 years with the engine not even opened once!
I agree, the salesperson should be help you make the purchase and they should do it in a polite way. When I bought my Avenger 220 the guy simply rejected that you're a college kid you cannot afford it without trying to understand that I might also be earning or have saved for the bike. Later that month I booked it with other dealer who originally purchased it from the dealer who rejected my purchase. I do this with all the small or big things. If the shop experience is not good, I simply reject and walk to another shop.
I really like the idea that "i like a certain brand" but to be a responsible person when it comes to buying a motorcycle or car, its all come done to testing for yourself which match your driving style and gives you the best riding experience I think that what i learn from this episode correct me if i am wrong...
Loved this episode. I wanted to upgrade from Ignis to a spacious 5 seater which on occasion can be used as 7 seater. I took test drive od XL6, carens, scorpio n, xuv700 and Safari. For me and my family Safari made sense and we bought it. As you mentioned people can still have brand loyalty but you videos are truly helpful atleast explore other options first.

What I love the most is Shumi is constantly bringing the conversation to 400s and Activa, the actual achievable vehicle for majority of audience.
We’ll pass it on Yash! Thank you!

We test rode RE Hunter 350, Meteor 350 and the Speed 400 before concluding on the Honda :
"I was initially least interested to ride it. So I knew he really loves it."
So, in our garage sits two R15s (my silver R15M and a R15 V4 blue of my brother) with a CB350.
Hahaha Hey ATT! Awesome to have that peek into your garage. And that’s all we could hope for an open ear, an open mind and respect for others choices.
This comment was a proper treat! Can say the same about my dad riding the CB, although an NX500 upgrade should be around the corner 😂
Absolutely. 👍🏽
& sports teams too..the most tribal of all..🥹
Whole youth spent watching Top Gear, Fan boying over the Cars/brands the trio drove.
Excellent! Thanks for sharing that. Hope you do both the things. 😁
I'm unable to decide between duke 200 and cb350rs
@@adityantamarapu6239 I feel like you're unable to decide because they're both in the same price range rather than how they ride. Both these bikes are very different in how they feel to ride so if you have test ridden or rented them and tried them out and are still confused then you're probably not sure what kind of a rider you are. In which case you can look at the specs, mileage, service, etc. more closely and maybe that'll help, but if you like one over the other because of how you feel while riding it, then that's the clear winner.
@_Adv8_ Thanks, but I haven't ridden either of them. I want both power and comfort all under 2.5L😢
@_Adv8_ Thanks, but I haven't ridden either of them. I want both power and comfort all under 2.5L😢
Guys, thank you! I am grateful to have listened to this conversation.
Without sponsorship, paid promotion, or brand affiliation, you have been doing this for 2 years now.
More power to you! I am rooting for MotorInc.
Appreciate it. Thank you for making it happen!
Morning NT! Absolutely! If we can’t better it, we are done.
The Reddit war between the CB 350 and R15 was the most cringeworthy thing I have ever seen in my short time as a motorcycle enthusiast. People worship their own choices and tear apart anything that doesn't align with their opinions.
In redditors' defense, most of it was memes and shitposts! :D
😐
@@Shemal.JustAnotherShrink I myself was a part of it and it was indeed more of a meme/shitpost than a 'war'. I'm surprised with the amount of people that didn't get this memo xD

Just remember, when it comes to brands, loyalty is a one way street.
Also, there is a thin line between a fan and a fanatic. Between a patriot and a nationalist. The ability to be circumspect and offer genuine criticism is what differentiates the two.
Great points there LV! Each one of us needs to keep that in mind.
What's wrong being a nationalist? All our freedom fighters were nationalist

@@waez2120 That's the point I was said I can't get a insurance claim cuz I didn't have a proof of the damage being a natural cause
Congratulations! We wish you a safe and awesome motoring life. Grateful to be let into your garage. 🙏🏾
I'm thinking on getting cb350rs
Awesome! Wish those showroom folks from us too / for being awesome. And we wish you awesome rides!

Being able to disagree without going for the other's throat is a learned skill at this point I think.

People should be fans of products rather than brands. A great brand could have a shitty product, and a shitty brand could have a great product.
This isn't just limited to automobiles.
Good one!

When Shumi said, “In fact being a fan is not our job”, guess the context here is automotive brands but holds true for Indian voters also! 🙃
It applies to any fan
Some brands with toxic fanbase- TATA, VW, Apple and a few political parties. Last one is affecting all😒

Thanks for joining us @tobin47

@@abhishekdasgupta1640 valid point👍👍
I once asked in the comment section that why didnot they review Honda transalp 750, suzuki vstrom 800DE then the motorinc team replied to my comment saying that those bikes were not in their pipeline.
Wonderful advice @anjulmishra! Thanks for sharing!

Hi @prabhanjankaveri613! Thanks for joining us, appreciate it.
This is what ive done with all my other purchases till date, and its been great
Super. Any tips for mobile phone shopping?

Heya Jay! Wish you the very best for your new adventure. Thanks for being with us. #internationalaudience 😁
🙃
I think there's a more broader discussion here that spills over to even pollitics
😁
My fanboyism is reserved for motor inc. haha
Very smooth ending with that 3.. 2..1..disconnect.
There's one brand that I'm loyal to and that's MotorInc ❤
Heya SR! ❤️ Let’s make our slice of the world better!
You've lost the plot.

Hey VT! Just as long as we deliver value to you. 😁
We are just 40 years of age please don't call as old 😢😢 but GPCC 😂😂😂
For the next week please talk about how can we make our roads safer.
Thanks RR! We have to check out this rule you mentioned. 👍🏽

Fanboy. Its their view. Keep ur views to urself man. If u love it. Great. Ride. U dont need to prove or someone else’s views.

Thanks again KS!

Best of luck Ashish! 😁
Hey @bibudeshphoto thank you for joining us and for sharing your experience. Glad to hear that you're trying to do better.
Given everything you said, sure brands are transient and ever evolving, yet a few core values often stay undisturbed.
It’s a very powerful experience to have that consistency through machines and people that run the dealership and service centres.
What is one brand (or more) that have done this according to you @sanjaydeovrat?
Great topic that needed a real round of applause..To be honest, I am very loyal to Fiat brand from day one and it never changes for sure..but that doesn’t stop me from criticising by pointing out the wrong ideas and strategies they put forward..Right from the Palio days to the abarth’s that we got, there had been a lot of issues to be dealt with..I have never been able to be comfortable in a Fiat’s driving seat, to find the right seating posture was a heck of a job which should have been one of the most basic things they should have sorted out..at the same time, it doesn’t stop be from loving that brand.. Here the thing is, I love the positives in any Fiat and I can live with the negatives..you don’t need to defend your brand blindly for that matter..that’s it
#Fiat for life#
Thanks for being awesome! Wish you a roaring automotive life. 😁
Hahaha! Request noted!
What an epic video! So much value brought to the table. Great job, team!
Thanks for joining us @sreeraganirudhan8476
Steve Jobs said : “Some people say, "Give the customers what they want." But that's not my approach. Our job is to figure out what they're going to want before they do. I think Henry Ford once said, "If I'd asked customers what they wanted, they would have told me, 'A faster horse!'" People don't know what they want until you show it to them. That's why I never rely on market research. Our task is to read things that are not yet on the page.”
👍🏽
Looking to get a nice bike from the 400cc section soon since 220f has shown me how much it can do and I wanna see more 😅
Mannn!!! Loving listening to these conversations!! I wish there was a live conversation I could sit an listen to!
Cool! That’s a nice idea!
“You can’t make everyone happy.” Yeah. 👍
I never bought memberships ever for any channel, just a youtube premium and Spotify premium subscriptions. But, man if I could buy one, that will for you guys.Maybe one day 😅
Whenever you are ready…🙏🏾
42:52 Can’t thank you enough for bring this up.
Thanks for sharing @SparVik! Do rent them both before deciding, we're interested to know what you end up going with.
Thanks for this wonderful episode, sadly this season is coming to an end and I can't wait for the next one. Some day, if possible you guys should talk about riding gear, different gearboxes, engine tech etc.
Heya KV! Stay tuned. 😁
Haha Sure and one more question, by when can we expect the First impressions video for the Basalt
38:10 hard relate. What shumi shared here is very true. I was out to get my first car and went to inquire about Swift, the sales guy wasn’t interested in entertaining any request of mine.
I was passing by VW showroom and stumbled in because polo was love (still is) the VW sales guy asked me to take a test drive and I said it’s out of my budget , he simply said “no worries sir, you can recommend it to your friends or Atleast try out what VW is offering”
1 test drive.
Thanks for sharing @alokpandey4924, glad to hear that you're cross shopping for what works best for your needs.
It’s okay. We got to learn one way or the other. First hand lessons are the best. 😁
13:00
Shumi I am really glad you said it
I own a 2004 Honda Eterno 150 Olive Green
The clutch has lasted believe it or not 20 years with the engine not even opened once!
Woah! That’s insane! Thanks for sharing that with us.
As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I knew Shumi will have something to say about CB350 and Jawa.
He really loves the CB350😂
😁
I agree, the salesperson should be help you make the purchase and they should do it in a polite way. When I bought my Avenger 220 the guy simply rejected that you're a college kid you cannot afford it without trying to understand that I might also be earning or have saved for the bike. Later that month I booked it with other dealer who originally purchased it from the dealer who rejected my purchase. I do this with all the small or big things. If the shop experience is not good, I simply reject and walk to another shop.
I really like the idea that "i like a certain brand" but to be a responsible person when it comes to buying a motorcycle or car, its all come done to testing for yourself which match your driving style and gives you the best riding experience
I think that what i learn from this episode correct me if i am wrong...
Yes @gameooze-sf8iv! Succinct way to put it 🙌
Loved this episode.
Very glad to hear that we could help @mayanksharma27! Thank you and congratulations on the Safari!
Yes! Eterno!!
We had one, and I almost learnt scooter on that. Damn! What a feeling of power and finesse among all the available LMLs and Bajajs
