I'm on the 40th 400RR waiting list but now wonder if the 40th 500 might be more drivable or practical. But there is nothing like the 4 cylinder idle sound and the cool intake sounds they make as the secondary flaps open and close. My Z900 RS does that and it is pure Mozart to a gear head. Go Kawasaki or go broke on exotic bikes.

Not worth it just get that rr. It's just a prettied up 400 w some cool additional features but I have a 400 and there's some upgrades that are cool but nothing that I see justifies me spendimg $ on it. Same power to weight ratio as my 400. I'd rather have that cool 4 cyl sound and w a tune you'd get 75 hp out of it so itl be way more fun. Personally I'd prefer going to the Aprilia rs660 or 600cc of some sort from where I'm at now. But I'd be hype for the 400rr if I were you!

If your dealership doesn't get one for you fast enough, I did just take in a used ZX-4RR with low miles on it that looks super clean. Unfortunately, it's not the 40th anniversary edition.

451cc of power? Didn't know cubic centimeters were the units of power.
Justin, 451cc is the measure of the engine's displacement, not its power. An engine can actually have a larger displacement and make less power.

@2:38, "there is a few ample upgrades..."
Justin, the grammatically correct way to say that is, "there ARE a few ample upgrades..."

That green is ugly. It’s exciting because it’s a new colour, but the more I see it around the worse it gets.

It's not a new color, guy. This is the 80's livery, hence the 40th anniversary.

I’ll probably have to see it in person because I find it pretty ugly compared to a 400

Agreed bro the 400 is fun I’ve ridden it before as my first bike and I felt in complete control I haven’t tested the 500 it’s 8kg heavier so I personally prefer a lighter bike
