- KTM 390 Adventure Delete catalytic and Muffler Exhaust pipe installation and sound check.
Update: Just to clear things up. For correction, it is not actually a decat because the 2 catalytic is located at the mid and end of the main pipe. And i only remove the resonator box not the catalytic. Thank you Bro John Alexander for the correction.

Sir @7:31 meron nga leak exhaust canister mo.may tubig lumabas dahil kinbit mo db killer.same lang sakin. I recommend Mivv ganda ng tunog sir.i dont put db killer
Baka meron nga, bagong linis kasi nung time na yan. Pero tingin ko pagpinasok ng tubig meron talagang leak kasi wala syang seal. Medyo nabibingi ako pag walang db killer. Kaya naglalagay ako. Hehe🙂
Nag build talaga ng moist sa loob ng canister pag may db killer sir. So far ok lang naman may leak basta wala pang backfire.di mabawasan fuel efficiency ng ktm ntin 👍

Nice!. May na notice ba kayo na power loss after removing the resonator? Same din ginawa ko sa svartpilen 200 kaso parang medyo humina hatak. Iniisip ko if need ng ECU tuning or fuelx lite para hindi lean at safe makina.
Hindi ko masyado ramdam kung may power loss pero naging responsive. Parang feeling ko mas tumulin. Kaso lumakas din sa gas consumption.

I haven't fully maximize it yet but in an almost 1.5 hours ride in city traffic i can say that it is much cooler compare before.
Forgot to take the gasket out of the resonator and put it on the new pipe!
Can you clear my doubt..
After the Cat delete there is this huge gap between the engine and the rear tire...Does that make the rear tire wobble at high speeds (around 140kph)??
I think the gap is still tolerable for me. Its just the size of the resonator box. I haven't try 140kph but on 125kph the bike is still stable.

@@hijomoto Salamat. I currently have the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 which I like a lot, pero I’m looking for something more off road capable with the weight close to the Husky. Kasi dinadala ko yung motor sa likod ng MB Sprinter van ko using a hitch rack when we do our road trips all over US. Yung current weight ng KTM is on the upper end scale of my weight limit for the hitch. I will consider the KTM if I can reduce the weight from 5-10kg kaya weight is a big issue for me.
@@roehlrosales5020 oh i see kaya pala concern ka sa weight nung tinggal ko. Sige icheck ko. Mas okay nga kung adventure bike if ganyan setup mo. Actually pinagpilian ko yang 401 saka etong 390adv. Maganda 401 pang porma. Pero mas parang fit sa akin yun 390adv. Pero kung may extra baka yung 200cc na version pwede na.. Hehe🙂
@@hijomoto Meron akong Yamaha TW200 na excellent sa off road pero hanggang 90kph lang ang kaya so hindi pwede sa fast highways dito, and I also have a Triumph Tiger 800 na great for highways, can do minor off road trails pero on the heavy side. Hindi ko madala sa mga solo adventure rides dahil pag naibangsak ko, baka hindi ko na maitayo ulit. 😬 Definitely, too heavy to be on a hitch behind my Sprinter van. So I’m hoping the KTM is the answer.

One year ko sya ginamit wala naman problem, complain ko lang maingay lalo na araw araw ko ginagamit motor ko.

@aresjayag8707 sa experince ko very minimal lang yung difference, lumakas ng konti. depende siguro sa driving habit.

I do not remap after the installation. I think you need to remap if you removed the main catalytic. I just removed the resonator box and exhaust.

Does it consume gasoline?
Yes it consume a bit. Before i got 26km/l on the city ride. Now its only 22km/l

So far no issue, i only remove the resonator box (the black box) the catalytic is still there. They said if you replace with full exhaust system you need to remap the ECU.

you should have removed the headers, not the air box.... The air box gives you some performance
I do not have the replacement yet but thank you for your suggestion.
@@hijomoto look at coober headers. If you read on ktm forum.com you will see a post from Coober team saying that removing the airbox impacts the performance. You should change the headers, the muffler and ECU
