Finally someone who creates good looking stuff with 3ds Max. It's a lot easier to find good tutorials on Blender nowadays.

Not sure what you mean with that. I've been working in architectural visualization since 1995 and at that time 3ds max was the only option. It has been the main to go software for A&D for decades, thanks for Vray that was born for 3ds max. The best architectural viz I've ever seen was done in 3ds max. I've never seen anything done in Blender that even get closer. Although Blender is a fantastic 3d software all around, it lacks of the professional file management and tools that 3ds max offer. It's good for independent studios or freelancers. But it's difficult to find any professional company in arch viz using it instead of 3ds max. Let's not forget the compatibility with Revit and all the major CAD and BIM software. And the huge amount of plugins and renders available. I love Blender, but as an experuenced Arch Viz Artist I would never be able to make a living out of it with Blender results both for interiors and exteriors. And let's not even mention walkthrough animation.

I am already using 3ds max and corona, but I need to level up my render quality. Thats why I watched all the process and find this tutorial very useful. However when I looked at the comments I shocked how people's behaviour. They don't know anything about the appreciation... Anyway, I am grateful for your videos. Thank you so much!

This is the best tutorial I've seen. Oh and for those amateurs asking for files and stuff, just ignore them, that way they won't be able to cheat their way into employment in the 3d industry😁I've seen too many newbies trying to get hired without actually knowing how to use 3ds max or even basic knowledge of 3D, they just copied from others in their resume and pass off as their work.

Good tutorial up until 11:23, but not really possible to follow it properly without the file involving the assets that YOU are using. You can't really follow along properly from there with alternate assets. Texturing, lighting, additional files etc etc are all going to be DIFFERENT for random different assets got from the internet. If those following along have to use free models, then use those free models yourself in the tutorial please and put a link for the same models.

On 3D max can we design from scratch? as I use Autocad to design the floor plans then build it up 3D in SketchUp
Can we do that so for example do the floor plan on Autocad and pull up wall on 3D max? or is it best to start full plan from scratch on 3D max?
    Thank you

Yes, you are right. It is external plugin you will have to download it from cg-source.com/FloorGenerator?activate=1 but this plugin free version did not work for me anyway. I was receiving the same error message as the gentleman one message above you. I also agree that if we are suppose to follow alone there should be a provided the same assets files. It can be a good tutorial if this things could be improve. Good luck.

Did I miss the part where you say download our own furniture? next time before following a video, I will download the file first to see. You did not even list the type of furniture to go get on the internet. We have to go to the beginning of the video again to see what furniture is there. As the guy below said, you cant really follow along with alt furniture. I feel like I wasted my time. Now I have to search another tutorial. can you send me the file with the assets?
