    That's got to be the nicest ping pong table I've ever seen. As a kid we had one of the green fold up jobs which got replaced by a pool table when I moved out. This is probably something I would never considered building, but this is nice.

    I used play in table tennis tournaments and to me this looks like tournament equivalent as well as a beautiful furniture. Excellent work.

    I love how you take simple things, like a ping pong table or toy train tracks and turn them into a work of art and family Heirloom. I often hope your kids pick up an appreciation for the craft and I wonder if your husband does any project himself or just hands then to you and say "you know what would be nice...?" :-P

    Very Nice. Can you please post the finish you used. I can't quite make out what you said it was in the video. I'm working on a project now and was planning to use tung oil, but would love something that only requires one coat. Thanks for sharing your work.

    For the top of the ping pong table did you use multiple planks of walnut to build each half or were you able to find a entire pre Finished board of walnut that you sized to your liking?

    What dimensions did you go with? Regulation 9’x5’ or did you decide on a smaller table to fit the room it was going in?

    Beautiful, how does it play?
    Normally there is a coating on the top, so surface is grippy

    This is just beautiful! It combines 2 things i love, ping pong and woodworking. Did you make a couple of paddles by any chance? They sell the rubbers that you can stick on self made paddles.

    Did you make it the official size of a ping pong table? If yes, where did you get the ply that size?

      No. It’s not official size. It’s 4x8. I couldn’t get plywood big enough for for official size.

    I’ve subscribed because you are truly amazing! I stumbled onto your page because I’m going to build a table for myself and I was looking for ideas but thanks to your awe-inspiring build, I don’t need to look any further. I’m sure I’m not alone in thanking you for sharing your expertise with the public domain. This may have already been asked and answered, but did you do those hardwood floors that are in most of background of your video? If so, then you’ve been promoted from amazing to phenomenal!

    Tamar I made one using several of your ideas and 4x8 feet is not a good size, so I had to cut it down to 4x7. Video will be out shortly explaining.
