There is no other place like Bali in this world. A magical blend of cultures, people, nature, weather, accomodation, night life's, etc. Bali is rated as one of the best travel desrination in the world.
#mountbatur is one of the most popular Hiking spot in Bali. The volcano, which last erupted in 2000, is located one and a half hours from Ubud by car, and is a popular hiking spot.
Before you book the Trekking of Mount Batur through online application such as tripadvisor, get your Guide, etc., make sure that you dont book the Volkswagen Car private tour. It wont take you to the top of the Mount batur rather it will just go to the surrounding areas from where you can see the Mount Batur. To really enjoy the trekking and the Sunrise, its better you can Go on your own or you can book through the applications which says "Trekking with a Guide".
we did the mistake of booking the wrong one, hence we couldn't trek on to the Mount Batur.
It’s recommended to make the hour-long climb in the early hours so you can reach the peak in time for sunrise....
