I have this scooter. My friend gave it to me because he was upgrading to a thunder 2. I've gotten over 46mph. I can legit get to 50. The acceleration is unlike any scooter I've ever seen. Thing is an absolute beast

i bought a bicycle in 2004 for $220. I rode it nearly every year before buying a car in 2016. I even rode it during winter through snow, slush, and subzero temperatures. Cost of maintenance maybe $100 total over past 15 years plus great exercise.

Where did you get yours? Directly from China or US? I heard due to laws, the fast scooters are toned down for delivery in the US? Please advise. Looking to buy one, but would rather buy through Alibaba or similar where prices are around $1K
I bought from USA minimotors and had a problem with my Thunder. Minimotors USA (different company) ended up helping me out and even walked me thru installing a new controller. I would def buy from Minimotors USA

I want one so bad, I started looking up E scooters to commute back and forth to work and I just can't afford a car and honestly didnt want one, I wanted something eco friendly. I looked up the best E scooters on Google and this bad boy popped up since then all I want is this dualtron thunder, or a kaabo. Period. My cousin came over the house with the dualtron eagle pro let me tell you the setting was only on number 3 out of 10 this thing are no joke they are serious scooter big boy toy I couldn’t believe the power that thing had I’m 220lbs it moved me like I was 100 pounds now I’m on the market for one 🤣🤣
I have one and I enjoy it immensely just cruising around at 30mph on 1 motor for hours. Then any time I want a good adrenaline rush its never far away. Fully charged at 2killawatthours means in texas I fill up for 20cents and go 50-80 miles so 1 dollar get me 250-400miles that cost 40$-80$ in my other vehicles. A 4000%-8000% increase

My friend has one of these but it is too expensive for me. I did some research and found the wolf warrior from kreo motors. Its 1000 less and the build quality is just as good. And no tax in ca. I love mine.

Justed ordered mine from FreeMotionShop. Can't wait to test it out. The plan is to hit the local and state parks in Florida (driving there with the scooter in my trunk) as well as local commuting in a 20 miles radius. For shorter distances including light grocery shopping, I am carving the streets and bike lanes on my Evolve Bamboo GTR.

In Europe. Any electric scooter or bicycle is legal until you have an accident with it. Then you'll realise it was only tolerated but not legal.
License suspended? Ride the scooter. Drunk? Preferably don't, but ride the scooter at eco mode.
Many states are passing bills legalizing, here in NJ, you can ride it anywhere a bicycle can go including bike lanes at 20mph.

95 lbs and $3,700. Good Lord, this better be your sole source of transportation for that. The Speedway Leger from same company is 41lbs and $1,100 with 20-28 mph pace and 27+ mile range. Lot's of options. Can't wait to see something this good under $700.

Tiny wheels on potentially potholed surfaces are never a good idea. A simple rut or raised manhole could be the end of you.
I attached a chair from the razor eco scooter on to the dual tron, best thing ever, it's already fast as hell so you dont need to worry about adding too much weight, but money is better off spent on a go kart instead. You can find 80 mph go karts for under 2k.

Given what it can do, and how little maintenance you have to do to it, I would say the price is quite justified. For this price you either get a maintenance heavy car that will cost a lot to run, a middle of the road ebike, or a quite well used motorcycle. If your commute is short and you live in a city, this thing is absolutely worth it.

@@BBBYpsi depends what you use a car for. I actually have lived without a car for 2 years now, and I don't miss it much. Every so often though, I just wanna go somewhere faster or further than I walk or ride my bike. So, it would be a replacement for a car if you only traveled a few miles a day.

That Thunder has Magura Mt5e installed. Stock Thunder has Nutt Hydraulic brakes.

If it’s the price that bothers you leave them for others. Motorcycles are nice, I have many, but they cost taxes and insurance and registration fees. In town this is my go too. Carry a backpack for purchases and I have a blast. I also recommend knee and elbow protection. A helmet is nice but not enough

I got the rion2 re 80 which as the name suggests goes 80mph I however never go over 55 mph because it already feels too fast btw these scooters are amazing if you have a shorter commute to work if it's less than 15 miles away.

i guess bikes are a lot larger and more complicated so impossible to match but id love to see an e bike with specs like this. expensive but that can be a great value for some people, certainly not even close to everyone tho.

What would be the advantage of this standing electric scooter vs an electric bike?

A scooter would be more portable. You could fold it or throw it into a trunk of a small car more easily than a bike. I'd imagine the small wheels give it very good torque as well (vs a hub motor bike with larger wheels). I'd prefer an ebike overall though...you have a seat, pedals, and you'll be more legally accepted in more places than a scooter will be.

Is it stable enough to drive a short way with one hand? I ask because my current 65km/hr scooter will get away from you if you need to scratch above 10km/hr. (Zero 10x)
I have a thunder and will say you can, quickly scratch yourself, or adjust your helmet etc if need be, but no I dont recommend using 1 hand ever.
What is the slowest speed can this go? The reason I ask as I like to also ride my Boosted Rev in a quiet park and stroll can you adjust the speed?

zeeshan hyder nanrobot is a scam that performs way below advertised specs in every category. If you want a china scooter claiming to be a California company then I’d suggest you just buy it for $1000+ less directly from an alibaba supplier instead of the “defraud the dumb Americans” prices. They’ve also had systematic manipulation of their reviews on websites like amazon. Removed tons of negative reviews without approval from the reviewers and provided what seem to be fake positive feedback/helpful votes. Amazon A-Z worthless even after promising to return funds. Instances of return scam activity (trying to have it shipped back to mainland China without valid shipping that would likely end up drastically outside of amazon window). Further there are video reviewers etc that didn’t have good experiences who said as much that then took down those reviews and indicated they were approached/basically intimidated/extorted into not leaving a genuine review video up. AVOID.

How is this road legal?
In my state (Maryland), e-bikes and scooters are restricted to 250w motors and 20 MPH max speed, unless you want to go get a motorcycle license and pay insurance. Another consideration is that many states require you to have a regular driver's license in order to apply for a motorcycle license.

These things are great when you live in a city like London that has great cycle lanes going right the way up the Thames but shit for places like manchester that's congested to fuck with barely no space on the road.

That's way too cool. I'm with you as far as 30mph speed, but having that "EXTRA" for just in case, is really nice to have. I wish they had a mini seat of some sort that you could add to it for those longer trips you might want to take. Keep up the great work.

At 1:26 it’s mention that the tires are tubeless to help reduce chance of getting flats... then seconds later mentions that the wheels are modular to make changing the tires easier just in case one gets a flat.

Yes the tires are indeed 4 inches wide, they are pretty beefy. Just mini motorcycle tires.
@Ray Be kind to others, it goes a long way Absolutely the deck is very wide so you can place your feet in different positions, the tires are also wide so even moving 1mph you can keep it balanced.

Needed to review braking
braking is good, and solid going 40mph takes maybe 25 ft, or less depending on how hard you break, better to just pay attention, it is your responsibility when riding*, add: that is on electronic brake 0, 3 is the highest I will ever go, gets to jolty on the ride when at 4, not a fan but, 3 is the sweet spot when your at like 85-87% battery, when at 100%, make sure the Electronic braking is at 0-1 or you will over load the controller, personal exp. the Nutt brakes are good the MT5s they offer are awsome just pricey but worth it have them on my eagle, love my thunder just order a kick tail off ali express from 66
They are illegal in Ireland unless you get it registered, pay the road tax and have insurance - just like a motorcycle. So I am opting for a BMW S1000RR. I would love an electric small scooter to use on the roads now and again but its not viable at the moment legally and I am sure the insurance could be as expensive or perhaps even more than insuring a full sized petrol motorcycle.
