Last 4 words of the last 4 paragraphs:
    Just so you know.
    He will read this.
    Love alone isn't enough.
    And sometimes requires divorce.

I dated someone dumb like this, it honestly creates so much anxiety just worrying wheather or no he'd burn the house down. Being nice & thoughtful isn't enough. It's embarrassing knowing that family & friends were laughing with eachother about his stupidity. Poor OP

He definitely has ADHD the forgetfulness
The lack of awareness of surroundings
    The creative aspect of him
Even down to his emotional responce to injustice screams ADHD
Ive personally been him and never could figure out why i kept failing at everything i did but honestly it was simply focusing too hard on being the guy i used to be that i made it far worse than before. I understand the frustration from her perspective but this is what it may be like for him and many others with adhd it comes off as careless but it really isnt. Yeah.....i certainly know what being a liability felt like.

Kindof sounds like OP wants to be a mom to hubby instead of a partner since she doesn't even hold him accountable as a man or father. Not liking the people you work with is a part of life, most adults don't have the luxury of just quitting their jobs and making TikTok videos because we don't want to act like grown ups. Examples need to be set for the child, is hubby the kind of man you want to see her with.

No. He might have ADHD, and in that case should be medicated. I have a cousin with two babies with ADHD that works and now in sick leave because of a surgery he has to do and he is still waiting. I also knew a woman with a partned like that. He was a narcissist. It doesn’t matter what’s happening with him. He is a big baby! You will be happier being a single mother. He was a good husband but since he had to be a stay at home dad, he stopped being. He should see a especialist, the meds his mother took can be the cause of it.

Thanks for your insights! Do you think a specialist could make a difference in similar situations?

He sounds like he sabotages chores on purpose so that only the wife seems able to do the chores. Seen that before now. Don't be naive. He is an actor.
