Twin headlight nosecone, gilled guards, and the fluting, all class mods, not too crazy on the hood scoop too. Understated is cool af. Not bad for a pom 🤣 👍🏻
The HQ was the pinnacle of Holden design for me. There is no bad HQ body shape. The HQ factory air dashpads are very hard to find, I hear. The driver side vent was vertical, but I see it fits better here horizontally. My father had a Zodiac Blue De Ville, 308, air. When he swapped it up (company car) for an HJ De Ville (in Persian Sand with a beige vinyl roof), I bugged him endlessly to make sure it also had power windows this time.
As a 18 year old apprentice plumber I had a blue dead stock 173, 3 on the tree, drum breaks HQ Belmont panel van, it had a dodgy twin system with the compulsory hot dog mufflers, with the spare no expense, jellybean mags with 4 different patterns retread tread tyres. I drove that poor thing into the ground never serviced it once, only putting oil and water in it when the oil or temp light came on. The engine was unstoppable but the body betrayed me, rusting out completely not helped by me taking it on the beach, loved that car.
Awesome Panel Van! The colour and rim combo looks great. I think you did an awesome good on the paint Anthony - especially considering its your first paint job.
Wow this beast is reborn into the Universe yeee haaa yeah baby Holdens will Always beat Fords Without a Doubt and it a 10/10 work with this Panel Van👑🏆😎🥇🙏💪👍🏵🏅🤩

Yes the beach would have killed it first but back in the day that what you did. My uncle used to drive his XY Falcon sedan on the beach too.
Very nice and tidy Van, love your modifications as they were so perfect for the look. I miss my old HQ Van. 👊👍💪👌🙏
All the modifications he made very neat, clean but functional. Its definitely well done for sure.

Vantastic looking Van, You couldn't show his face but you should have shown his toothbrush. Nice work on both party's. 👌

Well deserved looks and is fantastic. Owned a HZ and WB panel van many years ago but nothing to the calibre of this.
He has done a fantastic Job for sure
Some very nicely done mods! Thanks for sharing!
No problem 👍
Nice van, I would say the floor pan presentation is a lot better than factory as would be the general fit & finish.
Very true. Anthony was very fussy on how he wanted the van and it perfect
