It's Haltech Heroes time! Since the early 1960s, Holden Panel Vans were synonymous with the Australian car and surf culture, and while Aaron's twin-turbo LS-powered panel van might be far removed from its original form it still retains its iconic looks while kicking some serious ass on the race track! ----------------------------------------------------------- Like this video? Wicked rig, old man had a panel van, i wish he had kept it. What would be the retal value of something like this, also what type of fuel does it run I missed that bit. Cheers 🍻
So how much money was spent here really, just on the moter alone with all those trick parts ,it looks orsome, congrats on the build so much work involved, I must def be in the wrong business it allways makes me wonder where does one get there handz on that much cash to build such a toy .I don't no I think it would of been a nice street car sundi driver, but somthn to spending 4 seconds in at a pass, well what ever floats yr boat I guess.
It's sad that I went with Holley, would have loved to put a haltech unit in my 99 Durango twin turbo project but it has a Holley terminator x. Do you all make units for Mopar preferably universal units.
My buddy had a Fairmont with a 408 ls that made about 650 horsepower and had a 400 horsepower shot of nitrous and ran a 5.2 8th mile at 130+ mph. You supposedly have twice the horsepower and only run a couple tenths faster ? Something doesn't add up.
Would love to see your buddy go head to head with Aaron. This is not a smartass comeback - we'd genuinely love to see how these two would compare on a race track.
@@haltech well,as I said he "had" the Fairmont. Doesn't have it anymore. Now he builds shortbed chevy trucks with mostly stroker motors. My point was that the guy has nearly 2000 horsepower and his et was only about 2 tenths quicker. If the Fairmont had had that much power it probably would have done a 4 flat. Just saying.
A CLASSIC Car Completely Ruined.. Stick a Tesla Motor in it.. If you want to Build some hi horsepower crap, put in an American Crap car.. That body Shell should have been loved, and returned to Original, not this Wank Box..

Absolutely love this car. Such a weapon and the detail is unreal, But the best thing is Aarons is such a humble guy.
I'm a Ford guy but I really love this car.. Absolutely fantastic car.
Currently the fastest 100-200 car in Australia on dragy leaderboard 2.11 seconds! It’s a monster! Well done Aaron!
It's a beast alright
Jesus wept that would be a handful... Overcoming aerodynamics with sheer brute force. A shitload of sheer brute force.
Hell yeahhhhhhhh. Has to be a Holden. Awesome content 👍🤘🇦🇺
What a Sin Bin! We didn't have the hair driers back in the day.
I used too love that green hr panel van what a beast 👌
OUTSTANDING ,this fella must be Aussies answer to Steve Morris ,just a awesome build on a true blue Aussie icon
hope to see this at the Aussie Drag Challenge's sweet build mate
Badass Chevy!! Hell yeah! More Chevys plz!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪💪💪💪
This got me as excited as Jimmy Saville visiting a kids' hospital.
As a Ford man the best Holden at the drags was always frog stomp the green van I was a beast
Thank for the video.👌
Mad car...Great content!
That is a great build 👍
Awesome ❗✌🏻
What a beast
Shonky's Frog Stomp had a Gassed Big block Built by George Haddad in Melbourne
Pano's are so sic, how tidy is the build, very and solid
I'll be the first to take a guess for this build..I'm reckoning not much change from $500k...
2200hp at the wheels .. that’ll do the job 👍🏻👍🏻

Aussies: We like Utes because you can sleep in the back whilst camping
Rest of us: That's where they put the abducted kangaroos
LOL
As a Yank, my 1st exposure to a panel van was "Mad Max"... Can I swap Mel back to Wahroonga, NSW for one?
What times are you hoping for when you get the HR sorted, the van in a credit to you.
What's the colour called

Aaron owns and runs a performance shop so this car is also a promotional vehicle for his shop.
It's "awesome" hard to make sense of the rest.... all I heard was jealousy basically.
No surfboard bolted to the roof..no shag pile in the back....hmmmmmm.... far from impressive.
Good god I’m sick of cars with LS in them!
We can't wait to see your Adams-Farwell Radial engined Suzuki Mighty Boy!
well id fuckin shoot ya if you put a barra in it
