*TIP FOR THOSE STUCK ON MOVING THE BOTTOM PART UP!*
Select the face of the bottom part of the hat, than drag it upwards to where you want it to be. A menu on the bottom left will pop up. Select the "Proportional Editing." It's not the way he did it, but it was the way I found how to do it.
Edit: Scratch that, It messes with the bevel. How the hell did you move the bottom part up without the sides staying put?

2. click on the move tool and move the bottom face up
you can press z to make it only move on the z axis

But bad tutorial
This video helped me understand some things about creating your own items, but I don't necessarily want to get robux out of them. For a start, I want to make myself a whole avatar (and maybe put it on off-sale after) and I am talking about both classic shirts and 3D items, such as accessories. I couldn't find any answers to my question, which is:
*Do you need to pay anything (from fees to premium) to actually upload different kinds of contents on the roblox marketplace? I really, really don't understand if it's free or not.*
_I really wanna make myself a full avatar for myself. I don't wanna wear others' stuff lol_

Why would you skip the part of moving the bottom up?
I've encoutered an issue where the bottom moves upwards, yet the sides remain in place creating a void.

Just so you know the texture size is no longer 256 x 256 they've changed the texture size to 1024 x 1024
And forgot to note there are no vert limits anymore only the 4k tri limit now

When i click save to Roblox it doesnt become a ugc it becomes a model PLS HELP.

In my opinion it’s a good thing as long as they improve their moderation for ugc. I get how some people are not happy with Ugc becoming public but Roblox will figure something out.

Same audio sync issues, must be an issue with the software your using or the type of render your doing, render its a different way

I've got a problem... When i try to do it the original way via the button (Not in the plugins tab) to make a accesory on the bar, it keeps saying: "The creation of the following accessories was skipped because of incorrect object type. Please select imported models:" Do you have a way to fix it?
I had to go to “view” at the top, and at the left of those options I had to find the “asset manager” option and click the import button (the half square with the arrow going out) and add it in that way. But I’m now stuck at getting the colors in. I need it explained in crayon

For the people that are stuck on the bottom of the hat what do you want to do is go to the move tour and at the very top do you want to click on proportional editing which is right beside the magnet 👍

I made my hat already, but it only shows 1 side of the mesh and I have to double side it which I can’t do to special meshes when making the hat wearable. Did I do something wrong???
