You basically pay $25 USD to upload one item for the first time. Then it’s almost $15 bux every item you upload after. Why’d would I spend so much money for something I can buy on the catalog as bad as it is for 4 times the amount of items.

Ok, but think about this for a second. The main reason many people actually want to make ugc is because they want to make lots of Robux from it. And the people that want to get it are the people that don’t have much of it. So it would have been wise to at least put a warning or a disclaimer at the start of the video
Plugins that you should have: 1. Show UGC Bounds by Osyris (Shows you the boundary constraints for the accessory type you chose to make sure you fit your big items in the bounds or it will not upload.) 2. Asset Creator by Stickmasterluke (Lets you create the accessories from your mesh) 3. UGC Custom Thumbnail Tool by Roblox Resources (To take your thumbnail picture of your item for the catalog.)
In studio for more rig options, just click Avatar, then click Rig Builder and there you can find other rigs for 1.0 and 3.0 avatars depending on your items.
yeah uh about that, you have to pay LOADS of money and a whole id card of yours into this virtual game which will make no worth to you once you've gone old, good luck

The reason the meshID thing did pop-up is because you did not publish the game you just opened baseplate and not saved it, when you save the game it pop-ups

Here's a solution with the 'Add Image' option for the TextureID: 1. Go to File > Publish to Roblox > Enter a name, description etc > Click Done. 2. Restart Roblox Studio and open the game with the UGC accessory This should allow you to add images from your files to Roblox Studio!
The reason that the add texture popup didn't show up was because your roblox place has to be saved to roblox for that to pop up, it's kinda odd why it does that, but it does

I recommend just not putting it on sale because you wouldn't make any profit at all for limiteds and if it's not limited then you need to be sure that people will get it. Just upload it for personal use, and that's it.
If you’re willing to make an investment, make a low quantity limited. Then make it so it costs around 100 robux. Then because they spent 100 robux for a low quantity item, when it is resold, it will take a huge gain in value so that you will get a lot more money from resales.
Hey, @SharkBlox if you'd figured out why it doesn't work, it's all good. But if you didn't, here's why it didn't work at 3:34: for some reason, you need to first save the world first and then it would the texture id function features would work properly. I don't know why, it happened to me also (confused as you), but I hope this helped you out :D
fun fact: uploading an FBX in parts is pretty good whenever the mesh of the accesory doesn't have an OBJ, don't fact check that one. Just trust me dude.

Blender -> Modifiers -> Decimate-> Un-subdivide to lower triangle count. Alternatively you can check your triangle count by going to Overlays (2 speheres icon with an arrow) and choosing option "Statistics". Max triangle count for studio is 10k, you can't just import any model to studio. If you encounter any other issues let me know.
The only positive thing is that small UGC creators can now skip the UGC program test

@@Warmato.1 its not, attaching a script is possible to an item but that was only for roblox admins and that was a while ago, and ur probably gonna make a lack of income excluding the first factor and its gonna cost 2750/robux which is 34 dollars including the subscription monthly and sure you can get robux but ur not gonna be achieving all that much possibly, and if u wanted to earn those dollars back u need to be monetized and u must be id verified

it says my mesh has to many triangles?
Blender -> Modifiers -> Decimate-> Un-subdivide to lower triangle count. Alternatively you can check your triangle count by going to Overlays (2 speheres icon with an arrow) and choosing option "Statistics". Max triangle count for studio is 10k, you can't just import any model to studio. If you encounter any other issues let me know.
