Can't help thinking what a drop in the ocean such efforts account for. Very noble though. People that care. The data collected would be immensely important.
Thanks for watching, I know what you mean but if we can all do our bit maybe things can improve. Coca Cola is one of there major sponsors and uses the data to improve their waste footprint. Apparently glass bottles soon will be returning. Cheers Katty
@@nowhereboundtouring That is true - if enough individuals get involved, we can topple governments, stop wars etc. fix climate change but we are all far too comfortable to get off our backsides. After that day I have to say we do not walk past a piece of rubbish anywhere. We figure we will have to pick it up later anyway. We have our soda stream so that we don't produce so much plastic waste, I like that Qld has a monetary refund for recycling as we never see cans and bottles around, back in Victoria, no refund and very few really take the effort to recycle let alone collect rubbish. What an amazing job being done by everyone involved. Shocking how much waste is being collected each day. Thank you for volunteering & spreading the word. ❤
Thanks for watching Kerry, figure if we all are a little more conscious things may improve. Although a lot of the rubbish appears to come from overseas. Cheers Katty and Karl
I have to say they are extremely dedicated. Some weeks they go out everyday collecting and then they spend every wet day sorting. Amazing how much rubbish is out there but at least they are collecting the data to get the governments attention. Cheers Katty
Great idea and great job. Absolutely right, that's where the problems lie and are not getting smaller. I use when grilling, or camping no aluminumprukte, already for over 15 years no longer, because it has, unpredictable consequences, later. Greeting from Frankfurt

Have been sailing in remote north and collected truckloads of rubbish from many different sources and as we have hit been able to carry on board, just build a big bonfire and burn as much as we can.. it is seriously a huge problem not everyone thinks about!
thanks for watching Tony, I believe if we all do our bit like yourself it could be improved. We do the same thing if we are camping and have a fire. We have been to camps where you can see the fire was used yet the people have left rubbish everywhere, so frustrating. Keep up the good work, Cheers Katty

Thanks David, we have had so much trouble that we have purchased a DJI action camera and the Go Pro has been demoted to Timelapse's and stuff like that. I am glad to hear someone has a functioning Go Pro Cheers Katty

Hi David, We now have a DJI osmo action 3 camera. It has been working without any issues at all. Very long battery life and no overheating. This is our pick out of the currently available action cameras. Cheers

Hi Gerold,
We only use cast iron or stainless steel to cook with. Our favourite is our cast iron fry pan. It cooks very well.
