Two retractor reels, one on each side is a must, no if's, but's or maybe's! Boats are a must, no if's but's or maybe's. Everything Karl wants is a must..c'mon Katty, what do you expect with such a question? Love your videos.
Thanks for watching and not taking my side ha ha. Will have a good think about it, the retractor reels have more useful value a boat won't necessarily = fish Cheers Katty
Just plumb air hose to quick connect outlets to each side from the compressor then use a short working hose. I use a hydraulic hose rubber cap over the outlets to keep the dust out, works mint. I have had two different brand hose reels fail in my 4wd.
Karl, a boat is a nice to have, but no you don’t need one, buy a fluffy toy instead, rather than retractor reel install an extra airline connector on passenger side then have two shorter air hoses that will reach both sets of tires on that side. Great episode. We are currently in Kuranda doing the Skyrail and train tomorrow.
Hey Tim and Sandra, hope you have an awesome time on the skysail today that is on my bucket list of must do's. Another dog is definitely not an option as Karl has taken over the dog pens ha ha. We do have airline connectors on both sides but they need to be long to get down to the caravan as well. I am going to have to seriously consider getting at least one as everyone seems to think it is a great idea. I agree the boat is a nice idea for boat type people but we both get sea sick. Cheers and Happy Travels Katty and Karl
Oh Alan, you want him to have both hmmmm I will have to think hard about that. We could get some good footage with Karl on a boat getting sea sick on a tinny ha ha. Thanks for watching cheers Katty
Hi Allan, We do have an outlet either side and two inflation gauges, which works quite well. The worst part is actually deflating all 8 tyres, down to 3 different sets of pressures. I had screw on deflators, but they did not work well for us, as we run so many varying pressures for different terrains, they were useless. Now I just use the valve removal style of deflator 🤷♂️ Cheers, karl
Everyone is against me ha aha ha! It seems everyone thinks it is a great idea, so sounds like we work out how and where to fit them. Thanks for watching Cheers Katty
Do yourself a favour and fit a set of entry grab handles out of an Isuzu “F” series. You can buy the handles new from Isuzu but not the brackets, you have to get these from a wrecker, grab the bolts while you are there. The drivers side is a 15 minute job, the passengers side is a bit harder because you have to drill new holes in the washer bottle. After I did it I wished I had done it years earlier!! I have the part numbers somewhere if you need them.
Thanks Erol, more encouragement is not required ha ha ha. Thanks for watching I will have to see if he is really keen, hire one a couple of times or something. Cheers Katty
The Jedair compressors are unreal, the only ones that compare (outside of a PTO driven industrial compressor) is the serious air and endless. I have the latter and works well, about 6min from 18psi to 60psi for all 4. I found with mine that the tyre valves become the limiting factor, which is why i end up doing 2 tyres at a time
I love the Jedair and saving all that time. I bet your compressor makes you smile too as it is quick and efficient by the sounds. I will show Karl your message. Thanks for watching Cheers Katty
the comms for attaching hitch were pretty crap TBH. Instead of saying " back a bit", you should have said " go back 10cm etc". Driver can't see that. Just give my 10 cents worth....Love you guys!
Retractor reel for the win!
Thanks Kevin it does seem that everyone thinks the retractor reel is a must will have to consider how. Cheers Katty
Yes to the hose reel🤣🤣
👍 maybe…..

@@nowhereboundtouring S holds the reigns here too, so I have to take the opportunities that arise :)
Hmmm, maybe a boat instead….
Cheers, karl
Yes to a boat!
Gday Mark,
Well that is one yes, if we get enough yes’s, we will have to do it.
Cheers 😀
Go the retractor, you’re full time.. gotta make it easy!
Karl is so pleased with himself that everyone thinks a retracer wheel is the go, thanks for watching. Cheers Katty
Retractor reel. It is a must.
Oh I see everyone thinks Karl should squeeze a retractor wheel in maybe for fathers day. Cheers Katty
Happy Man = Happy Wife lol get the retractable hose 🤪🤪 be easier for Katty to help pump toooooooooo 😁😁
😂😂 I help 😂😂 sometimes

I have heard they don’t go so well I will tell Karl your solution 👍 thanks for watching
Awesome content and episode 👏
Definitely get a boat 🚢 A BOAT 🚢 not a tinny 😅😂 Thanks for sharing 👍 Greetings and cheers 🍻 mate from south africa 🇿🇦
Oh Yusuf, a tinny would be more than enough, we don't have sea legs. Glad you enjoyed the video Cheers Katty and Karl
Been hoping you would do a "mod" episode. Not sure if I said it earlier but congratulations on reaching 10K subscribers 👍
Thank you 🙏 I hope the mod episode covers all you would like to know 👍

Go on let Carl have a boat and retractable air line

Lovely Ep, I could not travel like you two without a 3.7 to 4m tinny and light weight alloy trailer for it,
Hi Craig,
Hmmm, maybe we need a change !!!!
Cheers
Retractor or multiple outlets. Yes or yes. Your full time, it’s a small mod not a luxury. Your needs alter as you develop your rig & lifestyle.
