And earned the trust of one over a secret that changed everything, compelled another to do the right thing even when it didn't feel right and ended up serving the one he supported with the greatest authority in Westeros.
Jamie and Tyrion both had longing to join the world of honorable people it seems. Jamie because he used to glorify it as a kid just to have it shattered by his father/watching small council maneuvers and Tyrion because its just who he is at heart. A pity their father didn't die young instead of their mother.

Compared to all of Lannisters, Tyrion is the only Lannister who is so nice to the Starks. He saved Jon, Catelyn and Sansa. He even gave Bran a gift. Even tho he was forced to marry with Sansa but he is respect to her so does she. He's even feel sorry about Red Wedding to her.
Out of all of the actors who played Ned Stark's children, Isaac actually turned out to be one of the tallest. No wonder they started moving him around in a cart or on a sled.
After Bran becomes the 3-eyed raven, he goes back in time and wargs Jon. Then Bran-as-Jon tells _Tyrion_ to say that he (Jon) misses him, that he would visit him if he could, all so older Bran can make younger Bran feel better. But then Bran feels guilty about warging his brother, so he wargs Tyrion in this scene, makes him forget about the message, and through Tyrion gives his younger self a way to ride a horse (which Bran himself actually invented). _OR_ Tyrion just forgot.

I love how this scene illustrates Robb's complete lack of political skill. Rather than hold his cards closer to his chest and make nice with Tyrion, he insults him. When he tries to backtrack the damage is done and Tyrion turns down his false curtesies
Well, Robb didn't really "insult" Tyrion. He said "I'm not your boy", which is the truth. If he called Tyrion an imp or a dwarf, then that's an insult.
This is from a Bran POV, and Bran can tell that Rob is really insecure and uncomfortable. Rob can´t say the courtesies correctly and he seems really awkward when Tyrion does Bran a favour. He then leaves, but the Watchmen stays for dinner and even then Bran can tell that Rob dosent know how to act + Rob is gets right out angry when they talk about Benjen.
Oh the things that we lose in an adaptation...then again, I think you can see a tinge of that here. Robb does a complete 180 when he realizes what Tyrion has done for his brother. You can read it on him.
Actually, I think Jon was the broken thing he was referring to and Robb was the bastard. Tyrion's answers in season 1 always had at least two meanings before he sprinkled in his dark humor and wit.
Tyrion is honestly great with children, how he treats tommen and Marcella in the few scenes they get together and how he talks to bran are really heartwarming. Such a shame we never got more scenes of him being sweet to tommen at the very least

it is hard to watch season one knowing what they did to characters´ motivations, the plot in general, pacing of the story and in general focusing more on special effects and cinematography than developing proper arcs...
A Lannister pays his debts but not always with the dark intent of those words. In the beginning, Bran and Tyrion didn't have too much to look forward to. But in the end, they now play the biggest roles in shaping the destiny of Six Kingdoms.
What is very interesting is that the reaction of Robb, and Robb's dog - specially in the books - were foreshadowing an event that never occured in the timeline. Originally, George planned that Tyrion will take down Winterfell and burn it and declare himself Warden of the North but he dumped this idea later on.

In the first book, Tyrion highlighted that Jon inherited the Stark’s graces and courtesy than Robb, and he was silence about that. Yeah Jon is more gracious!
Keep in mind that this is still before things really fall apart. Tyrion shows one of his best qualities here: compassion. Also, I always appreciated how Robb recognized his error even if it was too late.
It’s hard being the man in charge and even harder when you’re brand new at it. You can see Robb projecting what he believes strength looks like. As a new supervisor I’ve been there. Look the part until you don’t have too.

tyrion gave the designs for bran's new saddle, which became the inspiration to his wheelchair. in the final episode when the iron throne is melted, tyrion turned his invention into the new throne. it is really a good foreshadowing of what tyrion will do later on.
Brans pov in the book of this scene hurts. He was still in disbelief about losing his legs and Tyrion came and called him crippled, he cried and got angry at him
If only. By the end of the series the writers made Tyrion weak and ineffectual. He did little more than shuffle around and mope while accomplishing nothing. His wit and ambition were completely gone.
If by finish you mean up to the Mountain vs. the Viper, then i'd agree lol. He was nothing more than a sad sack full of terrible ideas and cock jokes by the time season 5 rolled around. Crossing the Narrow Sea in that crate must've done a number on Tyrion's mental capacity.
1:32 you can see here how plainly Tyrion switches from admiring the poor boy whom he pitys and hopes he made happier to that just melting off his face when Rob speaks. The sound of his voice and granting of fake courtesy makes Tyrion quite literally roll his eyes.

This is my favourite Tyrion scene! He showed 7 to 8 signs of a strong moral character in 108 seconds making his dwarfism irrelevant. No other character has shown so many facets in all 7 seasons!
I feel like, in an alternate timeline, if Robb had grown to become Lord of Winterfell and Tyrion was Lord Casterly Rock they would respect each other a great deal. Perhaps they would even develop a friendship
The confidence that appears on Tyrion's face even while he is surrounded by the starks who can literally rip him apart after what they did to his father (eddard) is immense, that shows how much tyrion trusts himself and he knows that no one are going to hurt him.
This scene is after Catlinyn left and told Robb she suspects the Lannisters. Robb in the books also felt ashamed. He's 17 and been given a position of real power.

What is very interesting is that the reaction of Robb, and Robb's dog - specially in the books - were foreshadowing an event that never occured in the timeline. Originally, George planned that Tyrion will take down Winterfell and burn it and declare himself Warden of the North but he dumped this idea later on.
I'm glad he did, seems real out of character for him. Then, what would even provoke such actions? He seemed to play nice with the Starks.

In the first book, Tyrion highlighted that Jon inherited the Stark’s graces and courtesy than Robb, and he was silence about that. Yeah Jon is more gracious!
Keep in mind that this is still before things really fall apart. Tyrion shows one of his best qualities here: compassion. Also, I always appreciated how Robb recognized his error even if it was too late.
It’s hard being the man in charge and even harder when you’re brand new at it. You can see Robb projecting what he believes strength looks like. As a new supervisor I’ve been there. Look the part until you don’t have too.

I love how Tyrion gives others what they deserve, whether it be saddles or death.
tyrion gave the designs for bran's new saddle, which became the inspiration to his wheelchair. in the final episode when the iron throne is melted, tyrion turned his invention into the new throne. it is really a good foreshadowing of what tyrion will do later on.

This is my favourite Tyrion scene! He showed 7 to 8 signs of a strong moral character in 108 seconds making his dwarfism irrelevant. No other character has shown so many facets in all 7 seasons!
I feel like, in an alternate timeline, if Robb had grown to become Lord of Winterfell and Tyrion was Lord Casterly Rock they would respect each other a great deal. Perhaps they would even develop a friendship
Because I love her, Myrcella is still alive in this alternate timeline and she would have been married to Robb to keep the alliance.

If Robb and Tyrion got at good terms at this moment, chances are everything could have ended differently.
The best character of all time
The confidence that appears on Tyrion's face even while he is surrounded by the starks who can literally rip him apart after what they did to his father (eddard) is immense, that shows how much tyrion trusts himself and he knows that no one are going to hurt him.
That was sweet of Tyrion was doing that for Bran and anyone can ride a horse no matter what state you're in.
i think robb was rude to tyrion because they found out that the lannisters have something to do with bran's fall and suspect tyrion to be a part of it
This scene is after Catlinyn left and told Robb she suspects the Lannisters. Robb in the books also felt ashamed. He's 17 and been given a position of real power.
