1980 got our 2-135 FWA with the Hercules engine, put 11,000 hrs on it. Instead of repowering it with a Cummins, we sent it to an engine shop and had it remanufactured. The weight difference between the engines over the front drive is the reason we didn’t repower. (Cost was about $900+ over the Cummins and replacing gages and-sensors as needed.) Still have it, but cab burnt off it, mouse nest behind the ignition switch. Took 3 years to find the right/decent cab, first year with digital tack 👨🏻🦳 🐄 🚜
As far we and the museum can determine, it was the third, forth or fifth one, with FWA, to come of the line at Charles City. To keep it original, that’s why it took so long to find a cab. Check occasionally behind the dash, just might prevent a fire. Luckily we had used it and it was outside and not in machine shed! 👨🏻🦳🐄🚜
Nice looking tractor. I bought my 2-135 new in 1985 and still have it, has about 5500 hours, replaced water pump and all soft coolant lines and fuel primer pump, otherwise original. Starts well when cold but it is fussy about fuel gelling if not treated. It now has all LED lights and is getting a cab kit and I will probably paint it eventually. Not the best on fuel use, but now that it and I are retired, it only gets about 100 hours use per year. Edit: had to replace plastic roof when it cracked, guy in western Iowa made a few fiberglass replicas and it seems much stronger than the original. Not available from Agco any more.
Thank you! Very nice! This one has about 4700 original hours on it! We have only had to replace the alternator so far just needed a bigger one. But they are great tractors for sure! But very nice would love to see it when it’s all looking nice! But oh man definitely hope that doesn’t happen to our roof!
Awesome tractor man! It looks really good. I always love old whites. It looks to be in good shape and I know you all will put it to good use and take care of it. Great video!
That thing is in great Shape! Take care of her and keep it nice. You got a time capsule there. On the chrome stack, we went to mutual wheel in Dbq, Bought a 5 inch chrome curve and 4-5in adapter, Drill a hole in the adapter and welded in a 90 elbow to hook up the air cleaner tube. That way it was under the hood so you couldnt see it. I wish we still had our 135 I would take a photo of it for you on how we did it. Very simple . I wanted to bid on that tractor but my wife said no. lol. I told her I was prepared to go to 30-35k but she wouldnt even let me bid. Oh well hopefully next time. Best of luck and great buy!
Thank you very much it’ll be well taken care of don’t you worry! But yeah we were wondering after looking at it more how to do that so thank you for this comment it’ll sure help when we get to that point! But I’m surprised my fiancé said I could buy it lol but thank you very much! If I have any questions I’ll know who to contact!
Maibac tractor in Creston Ohio.. they r a agco dealer but they r really big into the whites and Oliver's still I'll bet they would have any parts u would need..
@@leuenbergerdairy6038 ya they do a really good job with parts for the old Oliver's,whites, Allis Chalmers and deutz tractors but I would say they that the whites and Oliver's are more of there bread and butter tractors for the older stuff
As long as you maintain The engine correctly, the tractor will last you a lifetime. By the way , it's one of the cleanest White 2-135 series 3 I have ever seen. If you like a piece of equipment, just like you and your uncle do, you inevitably will go over your financial limit in order to get it.
I agree we are going to take care of it for sure! We have 5 other whites on the farm that are my grandparents and we take pride in them all! We sure did go over our limit but it was to nice not to get. Tractors like it are getting harder and harder to find!
I am thinking that if you wanted to you could probably just take off the 2 lift arms for the 3 point then you wouldn’t have to hook them together and worry about loosing the bunge cord. I know some manufacturers make it so you can remove them not sure if white does though.
Not sure if you can or not. But we have bungees on all of our other tractors and haven’t had a problem with them coming off really but now I’m wondering if they can come off??
So this is the 2-135 causing all the talk on Facebook...Sure looks nice. What year is it? Looks like a 1983 or later since it has the plastic cab roof. Also looks like when someone redid the cab interior used a later series cab kit on it since it's grey, definitely not a bad thing. About the only thing I don't like on the 2-135/155's is the steering, wish they used the same steering cylinders as the 2-180's had. Congrats on buying this awesome tractor!
Yes it is! 😅 but it’s a 1983 one of the firsts. Justin Meyers admin of the one group said it was number 2 made. And we’re in the transition of parts and didn’t have all the parts so that’s why the interior is different it’s all original except for the paint it was definitely repainted! But thank you!
I'm not really a white guy, but I that's an awful nice tractor. I had to put it on my watch list to see what it sold for. Would that originally have had a red interior?
Thank you it sure is beautiful! What we were told is it was one of the first series 3 whites and they didn’t have all the right parts so it has some things from the older series of whites. But yes it is still supposed to be red
Nice tractor!
Thank you!
Great video nice looking tractor
Thank you!
I love the sound of that motor!!
It’s beautiful!
She looks lovely. One vote here against an open stack, keep her original.
Thank you! We are still not sure if we will or not yet!

Did that tractor come from powers auction in browntown?
Sure did!
Just found your channel and I thought that was the one that got away. Glad she went to a good home
My uncle and I were not going home without that tractor! She definitely came to a great home!
At least I can still say I at least got to drive it. Even if it was just around the lot a little bit up there lol
Very sharp looking tractor! Those cabs are very comfortable and quiet in my opinion!
Thank you! It sure is!

Now call up Larsen lights an get that big girl lit up! They’ve got LED bulbs for all the lights. You definitely won’t regret it!!
Yeah they will be needed! The lights on it now aren’t very bright!
Looks good
Thank you!
I just found 125 workhorse white with 2280 hours on it 2WD too 45,000.00 I would still take your 2- 135 over 125 workhorse lol
Very nice think me as well! We already have a FWA 125 so I’ll take the other 135 we just got!
Nice series 3 for sure! We have a series 1 with almost 4000 hours on it.
Thank you! Very nice! Our series 1 2-135 has almost 14k

I agree about the steering, weak especially when using loader, and tends to wander a little. Steering actuator seeps oil also.
Sounds and looks beautiful!👍 Did you guys get a Magnum?
Thank you! And no that’s our neighbors we are using it while our case 2390 is down
