    Thank you for nice words guys, I try to do my best and realy like make bows. Little explenation - loud noise after shoot was becouse of carbon Bridges. Bowstring hit after shoot , bow is little loud but have lower vibrations and better speed . It can be regulate also by string thickness , this bow had quite thinn agressive bowstring. it is all a matter of taste , thats why I make custom bows . Little work in grip can be also eliminate by vertical carbon inlay if somebody is very sensitive :)

      What does the inscription/artwork say? I can tell it’s Arabic calligraphy, but no clear shot to read it.

    This is the bow maker I've been searching for an elegant combination of the best in modern performance materials and beauty combined with accurate historical design, for these bows i believe that Lukasz makes the best in the world ...period. I can't wait for Armin to review my bow from Lukasz, I am definitely going for all the bells and whistles it's going to be S I C K .

    Holy Grail is an ultimate description you made so far. Lukasz Nawalny is a devoted bowyer to be able produce a bow that brings WOW to your face. All details covered, from hybrid belly material to artistic craftsmanship and even the sound has a ' tone' to it. With matching arrows....nothing more to say , as you started in the video trying to choose the right words to describe....
    Thank you Lukasz!
    Thank you Armin!

      Please watch how the limbs flex while Armin is drawing...all parts are flexing, balanced stress at each point from siyah to riser. That's the secret in gradual and smooth draw curve .

    • @ArminHirmer

      Usually check the writing, if it is on the side of a limb it is the upper one, if it's on the belly it's the bottom one

    • @ArminHirmer
      @ArminHirmer  5 лет назад +1

      It depends what you want. You can have fun with cheaper bows. If you like the faux horn and the performance of this now, it's fine. I am even happy sometimes to shoot a fiberglass bow :)

      @@ArminHirmer I understand, thanks. I want to upgrade or to buy another bow, to be honest the one I ordered from Nagy Imre came in at 42#@28" and it's a bit too heavy now that I want to fully commit to thumb draw finally with longer pull.

    Why don't you ever draw a long draw horse bow back 34 to 35 inches Mediterrian style like you do when thumb drawing?

    • @ArminHirmer
      @ArminHirmer  5 лет назад

      Does not feel natural for me, as with thumb I can reach longer draw way easier

    • @christopherbarker5016
      @christopherbarker5016 3 года назад

      Try it and you’ll see. Preferably without a bow in your hands. See the stress it puts on the muscles around your draw arm elbow, when your fingers are forced into a vertical plane by holding the bowstring? That’s why compound archers who use a release aid have a horizontal wrist at full draw, just like we thumb drawers do. It’s because they can. Finger-draw archers are constrained by these biomechanics, so cannot extend into such full skeletal alignment. As a result their ‘full draw’ is a compromise: it’s as close as they can get to skeletal alignment without becoming a stress position.
