Observation: My propane adapter did not have a large black o ring in the inside of the red screw cap. I removed the black flange and fit an O-ring (i think its 28mm * 3mm). Some come with just a cheap black flange that will deteriorate fast after a few uses). I chose to replace all the o-rings to make sure i had a quality seal. Smell issue: I have added scented silicone oil before filling my mags and attaching the adapter to the propane can. It will mask the smell of propane. I got mint scented silicone oil but there are loads to choose from i made sure that the scented oil was silicone based (nothing else). This is something i chose to do i'm not telling anyone to do the same :) For legal reasons
hy,i have a question is it ok to mix up 2 different camos(im my case woodland and flecktarn) and if yes what camos u think make the best mix,and why? Thanks in advance
Adding the silicone is more to help lubricate the internals of your magazines than anything else. I would still mix silicone into it just to keep the o-rings in your mags running nicely.
For regular use, no. Oil in your gas just gets oil everywhere it doesn't belong, and very few of the places it does. But that's for the gun. The magazine is a different story. It's easier to keep your mag seals lubed up with oiled gas than disassembly so I use oil in my last fill up of a session before storage.
To make things even cheaper, there’s an adapter that can refill those green camping propane tanks from a large BBQ grill tank. You are talking Pennies at that point when you can refill the small green tanks from a refillable large tank.
Here it's about 50€ to my door xD But it's refillable (Y) So for about the same price I get a big like 5L propane tank, used for trailer kitchens which makes this very afordable! And it's not to expensive to refill at a local gas station :P
I just recently got one and went to a field this weekend. It's a great gun, and I would recommend it. Something I would get with it is more mags, I ran out quite quickly on the field.
I am planning on using propane on my GBB pistol, and people have been saying that Bernzomatic propane (stuff made for torches) has a drastically smaller smell than regular propane. Is this still safe for my gun?
why should u fill up a regular gbb mag with HPA? The pressure will be lost after the first shot so u Need to fill the mag everytime u shot. propane is liquid if filled up in a mag and will get gas if it Exits the mag and expand (results again in pressure)
@@dropdead8886 constant flow of high pressure air as long as you run a 200/300bar HPA tank with a regulator wich will decrease the pressure down to ca. 8-11 bar... So if u want to run a GBB Magazine with HPA you need to attach it with an HPA-Bottle via a remote line... if u try to fill up a magazine with hpa just via these propane adapter u can do only 1 maybe 2 shots... the pressure will be away in no time. propane does work completely differently: under the best conditions u fill up ur gbb magazine with propane fluid wich will expand as a gas if u press the trigger.
hey airsoftology, I just started to play airsoft and I want to know how many BBS should you bring to a field for a hold day (cqb, tac city) note: I am not a full auto guy.
The only times I don't run propane in my GBBs is when I'm playing at an indoor field, especially if it isn't very ventilated. I don't mind the smell (years of Boy Scouts fixed that) but I know most of my friends can't stand it. Just a simple courtesy in my opinion.
I have , at indoor CQB arenas. The only time it can be dangerous is if a propane adapter starts leaking (mine broke after I used it for over a decade). I got to be in the loading zone when a green gas can exploded because the duffel bag it was in was in the sun, just baking. (green gas cans have no vent valves, unlike propane tanks).
funny how probably 15-20 years after this thing came out it's still one of your best options for an adapter

Hey Rev
Hey guys it’s rev here
Hey it's rev here with another springer
This little Madbull adaptor has saved me well over $100 in green gas every year. Its really well made.
i guess madbull sells propane and propane accessories
Unless they are in partnership with coleman, I doubt it.
+Samael Immortan nope just Walmart, home depot and other store's that sell BBQ or camping stoves!
It's a King of the Hill reference....
A lot of kids might be to young to get that reference lol
banshee107 I'm 12 and I get it

Where could I get the silicone oil port screw mine accidentally snapped after I screwed it in to tight?

So green gas is basically the booger sugar propane?
I love that screeching sound in the intro!
Umm... This adapter has been out for years Jonathan!
I got mine back in 2009 and I know it had come out as far back as 2007...
Reaching back in the vault, I guess.
I had the OG one, I got it circa 2005
If I lube my GBB rifle after every shooting (like I usually do), do I still need to mix silicon in the propane? Thanks
duh it's lacking it that's why airsoft green gas is expensive!
Short answer. Yes add silicone.

Will the adapter allow me to refill my lighter?
how often do i need to put oil back in it ?
Does anyone know?

what would a Co2 adaptor do? can you use it on a green gas gun?
would be nice if some1 could upload a video with a comparison test between real greengas an propane, especialy a shooting test etc.
That exact adapter gave me a frost burn on my hand cuz the nozzle gets stuck down
Are there any budget hpa setups for rifles?
Would you please review the Echo1 MTC 3 Full Size (Modular Tactical Carbine) Airsoft AEG Rifle?
Johnathan, would you so kindly do a review of the APS ACP? I'm thinking of getting one and I want you thoughts on it
I just recently got one and went to a field this weekend. It's a great gun, and I would recommend it. Something I would get with it is more mags, I ran out quite quickly on the field.
+Wintry Eagle I just got one too. I just wanted to know his thoughts on it
+Nathan Kicyla Ok :)
I just ordered mine on eBay so I am fully cooperating about it

yes, same propane.. just higher quality and less smell
Ethan Snider is bernomatic working for you?
I'd like to know If worked well
Will it fit on a HPA tank? Is so you wouldn't need to buy any gas??? Pressure?

so propane adapter plastic tip or metal tip?
If I ran Green Gas pistols more often and played as much as I use to I'd get one.
what oil can use for it
Trying to figure out what kinda of side arm I want to get and I think you just sold me on witch one to get lol
how many pistol mags will get lubed with a full tank on the adapter?
For everyone going forward, just ensure your slide is oily and clean. If not oily, add oil. If not clean, clean and re-oil directly.
but also, 3-4 mags

Hey Jonathan, this is for QnA Monday.
I don't know if you've answered this, but who was the nicest person you've met on the field... Thanks!
I tell you whut... good ol' propane and propane accessories!
Great show Jonathan!
Hi Jon I was thinking about you maybe see a review on other player and see what they use for a budget builds on gear and love the show thanks
This actually pretty awesome.
Why cant someone make a propane tank that hooks by a hose to your GBB gun?
deathraydave kinda late but Evike has a product just for that
Just get an hpa setup
Best Investment I ever have done :)
forget the silicone. i can’t get the mag to fill with propane.
