Thanks for sharing. Just purchased it. I can recommend joining a local chess club, mine is very small, just 8 people who regularly meet on Thursdays at a local school.
@@TerencePetersenAjbro I was defeated many times ! I only started picking up chess later in life, we mostly learn from the games we lose. It's the adrenaline and fun that keeps me playing ! I think that as long as you have the motive, keep playing regardless !
Nice Video! Realy good deep Review. Perhaps you should remove the background music. It is Kind of disturbing. Excuse My english and the German autocorrect.
Really like that Chessnut EVO is an integrated system. No smart phone, computer, nor tablet computer required, which eliminates bluetooth connection problems and frees up those devices for other tasks. Playing chess on-screen does nothing to prepare you to play chess over-the-board (OTB). Seeing, feeling, and touching actual chess pieces is important. Imagine future developments that enable the Chessnut EVO board to automatically move opponent's pieces. That would be so cool!
Hi. Yes, you can play a chess game against the computer without an internet connection. You may download and install chess programs as well as use them without an internet connection. It already comes with engines pre-installed.
We're gearing up to launch a chess robot and we'd really value your input to make it the best it can be! We're especially keen to chat with potential users like you about what features you'd like to see and what you think would be a fair price. Just to give you a bit of background, we're part of a team within a leading AI company in Asia, specializing in board game robots. We've already launched two successful robot products that combine cutting-edge AI tech with robotic arms. They've been a hit in China for the past 2 years, making their way into tens of thousands of homes. I sent more details to your email address with a questionaire, please check!
Behind you seems to be an old auto-play computer chess, that moves pieces magnetically with a mcanism under the board. Am I right? Milton or Milton Bradley? Have a small chess computer collection here started more than 30 years ago...
That is true. The main reason why Chessnut manufactured this board with an integrated screen is so that it can be used standalone. Making it more convenient for a user to set up and use his/her phone for other uses and conserve battery.

Hello 👋. Yes, it's a good idea. I actually participate yearly for local tournaments.
@@All-Awesome So do I, in West Sweden. Got totally demolished last Saturday against a 1800+ player. But then our whole club did too!

Thank you for your kind feedback. I'll consider removing any background music for future videos. Thanks again.
Nice video! Looks like a good activity that takes you away from the PC and mobile screen..

Yes ! I totally agree, and I'm looking forward to their future developments.
Fantastic video. Informative, to the point, and comprehensive. Great work.
Thank you for your feedback ! Much appreciated.
Thanks for the review. Is it still possible to play a game if the Internet is down?

Hello, thanks for reaching out. I have just submitted the questionnaire.
@@All-Awesome Thank you😄
A robot that pays chess? Interesting.
@@happyhornet1000yes. I believe that they are currently developing a version for Western Chess. They currently sell a robot that plays Chinese Chess.
@@All-Awesome I think I saw this online. Is it a white robot arm? Did they mention the name of the company?

Hello, that is the Excalibur Grandmaster. I had the Milton Bradley, but unfortunately it broke down.
This has the same issue as car infotainment screens, you're paying for a dedicated screen. The screen on the left can be replaced by a phone app.
