I do agree with the list and basically domestic brands are not at all in top 3.. except for Expedition. But I ve to agree that US cars interiors are so weak compared with foreign brands.. I mean I ve been n Telluride and it felt like it was aiming Mercedes Quality and for the price it felt too damn good. Shows how weak Domestic brands are compared with a country thats pint sized n comparison with US.

I have a 2019 Kia Sorento. I bought it September of 2018. I live in NYC so sometimes we have pretty cold weather. In January of 2019 I had a lot of trouble to start my vehicle. I brought it in to my local service center to see if they can figure out why. They told me that they weren't able to find out the problem. Fast forward to November 2019 really cold night into the morning, my car wouldn't start again. It was towed to the local service center. They had it in the shop a total of 2 and 1/2 days and they still weren't able to find the problem. This is a problem that Kia needs to step in and remedy. If this continues I may have to sell this vehicle and buy a competitor's vehicle instead as well as tell everyone I know not to purchase this car or any other from this company.

I agree the CX-30 and CX-5 are both great cars for the size and money, I test drove them both, but the rear side/blind spot visibility is poor for older and less visually acute drivers. The Subaru Forester is the sub compact SUV we chose, and it’s a great ride. Only problem is the colors offered are underwhelming with the exception of the Sport model in black with orange accents. Turns the boxy look into cool old school mini SUV. Mercedes there’s no way good reliability translates to all these lines. Edmunds get real.

Drove both. Indeed X5 feels more engaging. But after I jumped into the new gle, oh boy...that car really makes you feel special
Design, ride quality, interior, comfort, off road capabilities. It's just something different but it makes you feel better. It's a strange feel of solidity, quality and comfort which is hard to point but you feel it.
As for feeling sportier as the X5, well, a big SUV will never be a sport car. Better get a GTI or a Golf R for a that.

@@blackcatsarenopussies Ok, all jokes aside, I drove both, i dont know which exact variant you drove from both of them, but I feel like BMW's interior quality, etc... is better. BMW's interior designs might not be the best, but their quality is always top notch. And don't get me started in the exteriors 😂😂....... For example, the rims, Mercedes gotta fire their rim designers as soon as possible 😂 And driving is obviously.........no discussion needed. And what else could you ever want from such SUV's, BMW takes it for me. And Mercedes options for Nappa leather seats, Front seats Massage function, etc... must be more expensive compared to BMW, after all, you cannot ignore the pruce, as that is the most important factor at the end of the day

...it's ok, if you lease it...that way you can give it back when the warranty runs out and the car begins to show its age...however, you can't drive it too much unless you spring for the 12k mi or 15k mi per lease...if not, then it's just a 10k mi/yr loaner and that limits the appeal...

Long term ownership should be part of any serious review. Sorry, but when new all these car's warranties should cover any problems. When mentioning price and cost in a review, please add cost of ownership over a reasonable period of time. Unless I'm leasing a vehicle, the cost of ownership 3-8 years down the road is just as important as initial cost at the dealer. We LOVED our leased Mercedes SUV but were warned about long term reliability and cost to repair. We turned ours in at the expiration of the lease. My co-worker had the exact same car and one year after the warranty expires so does the reliability.

@@johnaronson5974 I disagree. Reviewers don't talk about reliability because they aren't mechanics, they review cars from their perspective and that's why they talk about performance, handling, tech, features, styling, practicality. Also reliability isn't all that important for most people buying/leasing new cars since they won't keep them for more than 3-6 years
