Mercedes, Mercedes, Mercedes. Pathetic. U guys sold out. Now, back to Consumer Reports...
I wish these lists would take into consideration reliability and long term costs of maintenance. I'm sure this list would be quite different if they did. I'm with you in sticking with Consumer Reports.
...it's ok, if you lease it...that way you can give it back when the warranty runs out and the car begins to show its age...however, you can't drive it too much unless you spring for the 12k mi or 15k mi per lease...if not, then it's just a 10k mi/yr loaner and that limits the appeal...
WRONG, the best luxury large SUV is obviously the lincoln navigator, which is like the large SUV the ford expedition, but it has a lot of those luxury features luxury cars have
… did you even test the RAV4?
Why subarus are not included?
Cuz they're ugly?😁
The price of the "Best SUV's" you recommend are ridiculously high. I would be more interested in knowing the best value for your money SUV's.
Long term ownership should be part of any serious review. Sorry, but when new all these car's warranties should cover any problems. When mentioning price and cost in a review, please add cost of ownership over a reasonable period of time. Unless I'm leasing a vehicle, the cost of ownership 3-8 years down the road is just as important as initial cost at the dealer. We LOVED our leased Mercedes SUV but were warned about long term reliability and cost to repair. We turned ours in at the expiration of the lease. My co-worker had the exact same car and one year after the warranty expires so does the reliability.
how can they talk about reliability on a car that has just come out?
@@kristians2704 Probably use data from similar models or previous years models from these manufacturers. Motor journalists are fed by manufacturers. That's how they eat.
@@johnaronson5974 I disagree. Reviewers don't talk about reliability because they aren't mechanics, they review cars from their perspective and that's why they talk about performance, handling, tech, features, styling, practicality. Also reliability isn't all that important for most people buying/leasing new cars since they won't keep them for more than 3-6 years
you do not say about cadillac escalade esv pltinum
check out B segment SUV Proton X50.
Great video.
But after watching this video. is Mercedes really worth it?
Where is the bmw x3 or x5
Those are some of the best out there
Why you did not mention jaguar f pace, audi q5
Incredible unreliability
You can see our rankings for those models here www.edmunds.com/suv/
where is the gmc at4 or denali :(
Denali and at4 are trim levels, not actual car models.
Oh, I see now. Sorry
At least my car made the list 😂😂
I’m not sure why the manufacturer who cannot make their own engines are in the ranking.
So many people commenting on Mercedes and si didn’t even see any mention because for me luxury cars are a waste of money 🤷🏻♀️
Poor choices! Most of them is not reliabke as SUV! Big space is not a plus points for people who drives SUV alone most of the time..
How about toyota's suv such as rav4 for compact size it is way better than cx5. It is superise none of toyota in this list.
No Range Rover? Luxury SUVs and I didn’t see the luxury SUVs. No RRS, RR or Bentayga. At least they deserve a mention or?
GLC is way outdated compared to the X3. Heck, RDX is better than the GLC.
I do agree with this list
Mercedes is the best
What is up with the hand gestures?!
Uh, no thanks. I will keep my 4 runner
We will keep our '20 Explorer Platinum AWD Ecoboost as well. Our 3rd Explorer! Can't beat em.
Any 4Runner is good, but the new one is extremely underrated. People say it looks old but I think it aged really well, looks better than most unibody crossovers today.
@@Davido50 I used to work on the early Exploders. When they first came out. I can not bring myself to owning one (I drove one for work for the past few years and love them).
@@GaryKetchum808 we do love this thing. Rides great. MPG is similar to what we had in our old SUV (05 Pilot). Looks amazing.
@@stout_tossme7541 Exploders! 🤣😂
No. The Mercedes interior is the Best out of all the other vehicles. Ridiculously define luxury for the price value.
To not mention one BMW in this list means you are not a driver of any kind of performance vehicle.
Those all seem like solid choices.
A Mercedes promotional video disguised as Edmunds. Nice try
Not evn one Toyota suvs mention ...not fair
Any SUV lovers present here?
Easily a biased review. Not very informative or detailed oriented.
If you want to see all the details and information that leads to these rankings, check here www.edmunds.com/suv/
This video was made possible by the sponsorship of Mercedes.
cars new gold
The picks are mostly the same as the previous year
With everybody driving SUVs there won’t be a need for school buses
No Subaru mentions ?🤔
wooow great video :\
Edmundz is probably getting paid by Honda and Mercedes.
where are the CLASSICS? land cruiser, nissan patrol, wrangler?
The base GLE is a joke. It is so bad that it makes the GLE hard to recommend at all if simply for fear that the buyer will go for the base model.
Kia telluride ex. 2021 🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Mercedes no complaints 😅
No BMW here?
