  • LIKE FIRE! HELLFIRE! Oh please, Hell is no punishment compared to this movie.
I do not own The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2. This is a satirical parody of a Disney sequel, and all rights go to Victor Hugo and Disneytoon Studios.
And in case this link goes down like my review of the first film did, here's my Vimeo link of this review.

Quasimodo in the Book and Musical: Frollo, you killed her.
Frollo: I know, it was a horrible deed, but hey, at least this mean you won’t get a dumb sequel now. Trust me you’ll be thanking me until you breath runs out for this.

This film has some serious continuity issues, if you pause at 6:02 you can see Quasimodo hanging out with the little girl from the first movie, she doesn't seem to have aged at all yet zephyr seems to be 7 years old or something.

    • @ultranaticproductions3103
      @ultranaticproductions3103  2 года назад

I mean, it's entirely possible that's a completely different little girl, or if the resemblance is too strong, that's just the little sister of said little girl.
Weird I'd defend something about this movie, but we're not short on problems with it as is.

We gonna ignore Quasi, Esmerelda and Phoebus look the exact same 7 years later?? Quasi is canonically almost 30 in this movie and for whatever stupid reason all of a sudden can’t talk like a normal person. The beginning shows him happily socializing with the townsfolk and when Madeline comes into the belltower he all of a sudden is super nervous and clammy around her?? I get she’s a stranger and doesn’t know about him, but why is he all of a sudden hiding? When she tries getting him to come out of hiding, he doesn’t even try to tell her he’s ugly and doesn’t want to scare her. Also, another continuity error is where the heck is all the Romani people?? They were literally EVERYWHERE in the first movie and driving Frollo insane (literally) but in this movie apparently the only two are a whitewashed Clopin who’s basically a dumbed down Cupid, and Esmerelda who all of a sudden acts more like a stereotypical Gypsy with her crystal ball reading when she was NEVER that way in the first movie. I found it incredibly insulting Zephyr doesn’t even resemble his mother at all and is basically a mini Phoebus running around. Like, he doesn’t have a story about being a Romani kid and struggling to make friends with the French children??

North was a pretty weird film I wouldn't be surprised If Jason Alexander & Julia Louis-Dreyfus only wanted to be apart of it so they could work together & give the world another reunion of George & Elaine...lol

@@ultranaticproductions3103 I remember seeing the trailer for this sequel on a shit ton of Disney VHS tapes and DVD's. I remember back in 2000 when my Mom got me and my sister, "The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea" on VHS and it came with a trailer for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2" on it with a vague 2001 release window. Then on my "The Emperor's New Groove" VHS it had a finalized release date for "August 28th, 2001", but that ended up not happening until FINALLY being dumped onto store shelves on March 19th, 2002 where it was released along side the DVD RE-release of the first film. And then Disney had the balls to include this sequel on the 2013 Blu Ray release of the first film.

You forgot to add that Haley Joel Osment was in Disney's The Country Bears which SUCKS AS BAD as The HunchBack of NotreDame II

I've yet to see it, but given the NC's Review of Country Bears, I somehow doubt that it sucks as much as this.
I know of Christopher Walken's scenes at least. That movie is worth watching for that. There is no reason whatsoever to watch Hunchback 2.

Because it's FUCKING AWFUL The only DTV Disney Sequels that I really enjoy are The Aladdin sequels including The Return of Jafar and Pooh's Grand Adventure The Search for Christopher Robin. I also enjoy The Buzz LightYear of Star Command movie and the TV series but that's not a sequel it's a spinoff

Very nicely done in terms of ripping apart a bad sequel (Never saw this film and never will).
And kudo's for giving Mr. Enter a shoutout in your review with his quote "Because Potatoes" (He honestly deserves alot more love and positive attention as opposed to everyone calling him the Worst RUclipsr ever).
Also. I really don't even get why you would make a sequel to the Disney version.
Because The Original Victor Hugo novel (Which is alot more depressing, screwed up, and darker than the original Disney film BTW) does not have a sequel at all.
Spoiler alert in case you actually care about reading the book.
Everyone ends up in dead in the original novel and the original novels ends in a "Can't Be Continued" Sorta of way.
Say what you will you will about the first film. But I would argue that this is more of a blatant middle finger to Victor Hugo than the first film.
But I digress (BTW, in case you ever decide to read the original book, it spends a huge amount of pages going over the importance of architecture and how it shapes culture and lives as opposed to progressing the novels plot).
Still. A fantastic job done on the video. God bless you and have a nice day.
BTW Ultranatic. If you want a real sequel to Hunchback. Don't watch this.
Go and watch the Chincherrinas RUclips series, The Frollo Show, ruclips.net/p/PL16A28B2CBB682BD9 (Which you should see about reviewing at some point).
It's actually very darn humorous. Is very well animated. Tells an interesting story. And does the Villian (In this case, Frollo And Gaston) being the hero of the story alot better than the Maleficent Live Action Film and that shitty Cruella film.
