I love all the origins, but Dalish is my favorite by far, i love the clan and the connection to Merril.
I've been excited to see your reaction to this one! Dalish was my first origin story, and when the game got to Tamlen's funeral and the PC's departure with Duncan I cried. I knew then how special this game was and how much I already loved it. My Mahariel is still my Canon Warden.
The stuff you said about not being considered “Polish enough” is, in Dragon Age, exactly the attitude that caused Sera to become the way she is in Inquisition. I’m glad the devs examined that in a main companion.
Honestly every elf origin is amazing. City elf is probably my favorite though.
Both commoner origins are my favorite. Becoming a grey warden feels like you're aspiring to something rather than settling for something.
And to think during the Origin, Solas is probably sleeping somewhere and waiting for the right time to wake up so he can break another Dalish gal’s heart.
The elves that live in the human settlement is very sad but it makes you stronger as a character 😢

The darkspawn taint doesn't create darkspawn (under normal circumstances, but there's an exception in the comics). Unless the infection kills you first, it creates ghouls who mentally degrade and eventually serve the darkspawn. Darkspawn are created from broodmothers. Broodmothers are also ghouls.
Aw, Meg, you’re so awesome for playing through all the origins. This is the one origin I can’t play without mods. Marawen’s mods are a must have, especially Tamlen’s Last Goodbye 😭😭❤️

Hi Meg! I keep wanting to play Origins and DA2, but sadly I'm a console gamer without consistent access to a Windows PC, so I've subsisted for now on your play-throughs. I actually just finished my first play-through of Inquisition (Qunari Mage, romanced Sera, disbanded)! I'm grateful that DA Keep let me make choices for the previous games, but it is my mission that one day I'll be able to sit down and play through the entire series, including Veilguard. I love Dragon Age and your play-throughs inspired me to set that goal! I hope you enjoy Veilguard when it comes out!
P.S. Have you checked out the "Vows and Vengeance" podcast? They're a series of episodes leading up the events of Veilguard, each one fleshing out one of your party members. I've just started listening to them and they're really well-done. I just thought you might enjoy them!

Are you on Xbox? DA2 and origins are backwards compatible on there, don’t know about PS5
There are console versions, i can play them on my current gen xbox, you dont need a pc
