While I love the baby Tuna, I notice they're top-heavy on my wrist, so I don't have mine anymore. Regarding the bezel action being stiff, I had a Serica that came back from the repair shop with a very stiff bezel. I put a couple of drops of olive oil between bezel and case. Worked wonders.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I would totally dive with this watch, keep it as a back-up to my Suunto Dive computer on my other wrist. I think it looks just a little too big on your 6” wrist, I think 6.5 or 7” would suit better.
Really unusual but cool how the caseback curves to hug your wrist. I would get the bezel checked out. I’ve never seen a Seiko one that stiff. It always amazes me how Seiko make watches wear smaller than the size in the description suggests.
I know this watch has been worn out and about so may be stiff but I did actually replace / upgrade the rubber gasket for my Seiko Samurai because it was stiff even when I bought it. But now it is so much smoother! So not sure how other people like the new bezel action but it is a small draw back that can be made better even down the line :)
@@watcheswithawoman the dial face is the size of a quarter. The case is more like a half dollar coin🙈. It doesn’t feel large on the wrist. The lug to lug distance is only 44mm.
The rotating bezel on a DIVER'S watch must be stiff, so it is NOT to be rotated by mistake or bumped or knocked. You see, that's the diver's air supply time limit indicator. Also on a REAL diver's watch, it should only be able to rotate counterclockwise so extra time cannot be added whatsoever. Please reply. Dave...
Indeed! It does smooth up after cleaning but it is definitely unidirectional for safety :) If you are wearing it in salt water in particular, one should be rinsing it with clean water after to keep the action nice
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the AMZWATCH has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
Love the Tuna, the biggest small wearing watch… in the world 😊 btw i find it helps to spray some WD40 into the gap between the bezel and the case. Let is cure and do its thing for a few minutes and then just wash the watch under the tap with some soap. It seems like it shouldn’t be that stiff.
Hey there!!! May I tell you something..!? Well here we go..I don't know if you have a great taste for watches but you've got a very nice tone of voice...modulated...oh well I better don't say anything else about it...I might be censored later...!?
The "Tuna" design is polarizing as much as it is Iconic. It has its devout followers and at the same time - people who are somewhat taken aback by both the size and the bulky design. It is a good watch for sports and outdoors activity (although if indeed the new edition has a ceramic component - it might be fragile - which undermines the whole thing) but seriously I would not wear it.
I like it but it's near impossible to wear unless you are a big guy. It looks like the cartoon where you press on the wrist band to turn into a monster otherwise lol

Watches are so delicate and intricately designed, so I have intense respect and admiration for MAMACOO watch makers

I haven't tried olive oil. Very interesting, I will look into it!
I have one since 2015 😎

I love being able to quickly adjust the size. Very nice

I get that thought. I have been into smaller watches in general

Good thing I didn't know about that GS store in Frankfurt. Good looking Tuna there though that bezel needs some work.
😂 I understand
I have the Baby Tune Antarctic, 43.2mm, with the penguin feet. It’s a good fit on my 7” wrist.
I think a 7 inch wrist would carry it better than mine!

Interesting channel to find. About the strap having that extra slack, Divecore straps fixed this specially on smaller wrists.
Very nice, thanks for the recommendation!

Great advice! And you are right on it being a small, big watch
Seiko tuna 50th so cool 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for the suggestion!
Very nice, Love the tuna i have four in my collection 🔥.
Wow! Which four? 😁
Own the SRPA99K1 limited edition, green sea turtle. Green dial.😊
👏👏

It’s definitely not for everyone, but it’s got a lot going for it. 😎
The shroud is ceramic-COATED stainless steel.

I understand the feeling! And a watch has to feel right on your wrist! :)
Nothing is worse than missing the bezel alignment by one click on a tuna
🤣🤣 too true
Should be re named Seiko Dalek
😂😂
Idk how people do it, I have an 8.25 inch wrist and I dislike 43+ watches
😁 depends on the watch but I get ya
@ like the samurai for instance, it’s way too too heavy with a hexad bracelet. I find myself wearing 41mm and under watches
why would you ever deface something so sacred as your skin
Not every thought you have needs to be expressed. Perhaps other people have different values… and that is ok.
