@@user-gk2ee4fz5s the heller decision by the Supreme Court makes it illegal to do exactly what New York is trying to do. It was a state ban then too, the District of Columbia was trying to ban handguns. The Supreme Court ruled that you cannot ban firearms that are in common use. End of story.

I love how every bill that unarm citizens always says the government and officials can keep theirs. But yet the constitution says our rights shall not be infringed. We are starting to have only 1 option left and I hate to see it happen

Funny, I reread the original 2nd amendment again last night, does not say 1 word about current weapons, feelings, scary weapons, 30 round mags, only thing it did say was "The peoples rights to bear arms shall NOT be infringed".

None of the people introducing the bills actually write them. This was written by Bloomberg and the state legislature gets paid to introduce it.
Glock should cancel all law enforcement contracts in NY State, and tell NY they will not sell to any NY law enforcement agency, or government agency in NY State, they need to find another supply for their weapons needs.

In Common Use as defined in Heller precludes this. Considering the Glock seems to be standard issue for LE, I would block the sale of Glock to any LE in the state of NY.

The really bad part is, if I remember correctly that there is a law on the books federally that says that if you violate the law of even one state. It doesn't matter if you live there, then you become a felon in all states. So this is really really bad for everybody.
