    COLL is worth is because you
    1) EPLLs are very fast (0.5 - 1 seconds with parctive)
    2) You might use the roux method so you can one look CMLL
    3) If you do 2x2, most of the Coll and Cll cases have very similar algs

      i usually just use last slot algs lol, personally i like zbls too, it helps

    • @kyh148
      @kyh148 3 месяца назад +2

      No, it's not. The EPLLs aren't much faster than most other PLLs, and when you factor in the recognition pause because you need to recognise corner permutation, it's slower compared to just doing OCLL+PLL.
      If you want to use Roux, just learn proper CMLL. A fair amount of the cases will have COLL algs, but many have better algs compared to the COLL equivalent.
      Same goes for 2x2. Proper CLL algs are FAR better than COLL and also better than CMLL. The fact that you don't have to take edges/centers into account at all is a huge difference.

      fr, I also recommend to learn 1 look cube, it's just 43.252.003.274.489.856.000, or maybe yeah 1LLL is worth with also 3916.

    One big issue is how algsets interact with each other. For example, if you know a full ZB set, you can learn what VLS/WV alg to do for VLS/WV cases to force either a PLL or a ZB. For example the r' F R F' M' case is probably not worth it if you are good at T ZB.

    for the vls alg you can just do R' F' U' F R, but cancel into the left fat sune
    so that would be R' F' U' F r U' r' F2 R
    just something cool that i found but yeah vls isn't worth it
    EDIT: NVM I WAS THINKING OF A DIFFERENT VLS
