Malta looked surprising slick and well-polished, really wasn't expecting that. People still seem down on their qualification chances but I think there is a way for it to get through if they do it well. Armenia stands out with the colour palette, costumes and props. Gives me vibes of the artwork from Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band for some reason. Bit worried that Nemo is doing too much on stage which might distract from the song but I guess we will have to wait to see the TV shots.
First time I saw Nemo's staging I thought oh no. But seeing stills it really works. I worry that they might struggle singing and moving so much. The costume is great but I think I would have liked a costume change and you're right -less around their face. Czechia looks great, love this song. Greece has really played to the song's strength and I can't wait to see it all. Austria elevated - I liked this song and then her live performances at the parties lost me but I'm back on board. Denmark has me back on board too - loved the sand (though as a Star Wars nerd I could hear Anakin Skywalker saying "I hate sand" in my head lol). Ok yes wasn't Armenia amazing? I love them - they have a real stage presence and have proven to be real personalities (I loved their interaction with Nemo during party season). I lean towards folk music but not usually in a Eurovision setting - they have managed to capture what I love about it and yet make it Eurovision (still holding out hope for a modern Scottish or Irish Celtic band one day at Eurovision).
Only one (well, better than none) of today's eight entries might reach my personal top ten, namely Austria: groovy, sexy - love it! ♥ Don't get the Switzerland hype at all: the performance looks like a bird documentary to me and in what concerns the non-binary thing - it's 2024, no one even cares whether people identify themselves as men or women or flamingos, so what's the problem? Compared to Israel 1998 and Austria 2014 it just wouldn't make sense to me to see Switzerland win in Malmö ...
Marina is really good❤

Nemo will stand out so much
How many nemos are there?
I think the same same about Nemo's outfit: too much around the neck and too large sleeves. The rest is bold and I love bold.
Armenia is so fun! Ladaniva had my favourite outfits today, hoping for a top 10 result 🇦🇲
Armenia❤🧡💛💚💙Bellissimo
