- Another song from the new album "The Informer" by Jools Holland. In this work of genius, he accompanies Louise Marshall. This haunting piece should definately become a single (well, in my opinion at least). Please enjoy.
Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant, cant stop playing, what a voice, what a song takes me back to the good old soul days
Magnificent. This song is dark and sad but wonderful in its poetry and mood. Great voice and music. Thank you.
Great song from a great album. Thanks Jools!
Great singing , one of the best songs I have heard in a long while, I think it is about Newport in South Wales.

Absolutely wonderful!
'The Informer' was first time I ever bought a Jools Holland CD, always enjoy listening to his music, excellent CD, but this is the standout track
Just Brilliant!
She is indeed top class.. and loving what she's doing, which is maybe a whole lot classier than just being a pawn of the pop machine.
Irish Club, The Picton, Pill, brilliant song from two brilliant people.
louise, you are amazning! love your new album by the way =)
georga! x
I pass the places mentioned in this song, almost every day. They are located on or around, the George Street/ Cardiff Road area of Newport in South Wales. Jools confirmed that he was inspired to write the song, while walking around the City one evening, before playing a concert there.
Yes, heard Jools talking about how when doing a gig in Newport,he was walking through the streets and came across a couple who were having a row, the girl wanted to end the relationship, then went back to hotel and wrote the song,
I LOVE THIS SONG. I am seeing Louise with Jools in Nov and Louise will do this live.
Louise is amazing, her whole family is!
This is akin to Broken Dream or Handbags and gladrags, as a Rod and Jules fan, I wonder how a colaberation would sound. Not to detract from this version by Louise Marshall , it's admirable in any sense. Regards Fletch.
