Oh I see you use the ripped denim insulation also... I had used it to make some broadband sound absorbers for my studio about 10 years ago and thought hey this would probably work for my speakers also, I usually put a layer of that really thin white batting from the fabric store over it just to cut down on all the fibers blowing around I know its not bad for us humans but might not be good for voice coils maybe it doesn't matter though.
