"I've been studying for 1 hour" itu bukan utk menjawab pertanyaan "kamu sedang ngapain?" Atau "kamu sudah ngapain". Adanya penanda durasi (for 1hour) disitu menunjukkan bahwa kalimat tsb diperuntukkan utk menjawab pertanyaan tentang durasi (how long have been studying?). Dan asking/telling duration (of activity yg sedang berlangsung) bukan satu2nya fungsi PPcont.

Satu lagi. Untuk jenis tense yang advance sekelas PPcont, penjelasannya terlalu sedikit. You dwelt too much on the formula instead of fungsi, di situasi/konteks sprti apa ini digunakan. Belum lagi dipaksakan digabung dengan Past Perfect Continuous. That is a lot to take.
