I like all these BTP videos but i have to say if i had been setting/driving the Case 4 track i would have made damn sure that the discs on the10 furrow plough were set up to leave a neat landside instead of a crumbling mess. There is no excuse for a broken furrow wall.

We could not have even turned one of those machines around in some of the fields I worked in as a young man. Amazing how big and fast they are. That would be considered for me going from a pony to a horse. The biggest tractor I was on was a 1206 Farmall.

Must not be to many rocks in the plowing part, I don't see those plows tripping . Gee, I'm 62 and these tractors will be over 2 million before I leave the earth. I'd love to see a EV tractor that can work 24/7 during planting and harvesting season with out stopping except to fuel up and grease which would be done in under a half hour ... question to the democrats, just how long would it take to charge up a tractor of this size? And out in the field, how would that be accomplished?
Well, the Fendt is actually a Challenger in Fendt branding. You can still buy versions in Challenger yellow, but they are special-order. AGCO is pushing hard to promote Fendt, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last series that you can buy the Challenger version.

Are you aware that before AGCO bought the rights from Cat to build & sell Challenger Tractors that Massey Ferguson had a working prototype for bulldozer design rubber track tractor of similar size ? I'm not sure if it a ground up MF Track tractor design or based on another AGCO design . The MASSEY FERGUSON 4000 and 5000 series 4x4 articulated steering tractors had the potential to be just as good if not better than the Challenger 4x4 articulated steering tractors if AGCO had invested the money into a design that they already owned instead of giving it away to Cat .
I like how the big Quadtrack did a big fancy figure of eight to line himself up to get onto the next bout going down the field,seen them doing that over here in Scotland! Great video !!

A farm I film at has run MT800s since 2006. They started with an MT865B and the jumped to MT875B when that came out and went to C and E 875s. It is their Fendt 1167 running in this video. The farm is very impressed with the CVT transmission and MAN engine.
That New Holland does actually has 692 hp in it's engine. I don't have one, and i've never operated one, but i've checked the engine stats on the official NH website, the official Case IH website and the official website for the Fiat industrial engine department, and they all do say that the engine had 692 horsepowers in the engine. I'm the type of guy who knows about such stuff generally, and i don't even work with machines. Not anymore at least. I've seen older machines be more expensive than even that JD, and that says something. Where i live, it's simply cheaper to buy the new machines. The old stuff just don't like the cold winters in Sweden, and we Swedes have mild winters, thanks to the gulf stream, and it takes forever to start old machines. Any old vehicle takes half a day to start, and that's just to put it lightly. I personally don't care that much about the old stuff, as i grew up with the modern stuff. I'm the guy you want to impress, but still want to teach a few tricks to
we had an early T9.615 Smart Trax, plagued with many problems and was an awful riding tractor with those high idlers, was planning on trading to a Versatile DT anniversary but the family sold their portion of the family farm and we cant justify a big unit like that
Horsepower does not mean as much as foot pounds of torque. It would be nice to know the foot pounds of torque these engines have. Because a 500 hp engine can have more torque than a 600 hp engine. Torque is what matters not horsepower.
They're all like that. When wages goes up everything else goes up. It's nothing new. Have you ever look at the cost of how much it is to build the tractors? Their suppliers are not selling the stuff cheap also they need to make a profit. I understand 3 times as what they built it for but not 4 times plus.

Great lineup. My fendt 930 is big to me but just a pup compared to those tractors. Prices have really jumped up in the past few yrs.

Tractors have jumped allot in recent years. A 9620RX was $628,000 is in 2016.

Kirovets or Mtz also has a articulated tractor with 4 tracks, and claas made a xerion on tracks
The biggest tractor I work was a john deere 6125D with a 20 disk plow and I do about 35 acre of rice field a day

I'm not an expert, but it looks like Claas and it's drill aren't doing too much to the field. Is it the way it's supposed to be?
Yes it is no filling soybeans into the stubble in straw. It did an excellent job in high trash with minimal soil disturbance.

The 10 bottom (6+4) Kverneland reversible plough was an unexpected surprise. Where in the states did you film that @ BTP?
It was filmed in Western New York this spring. It will be a future stand along video. It is a cool plow.
This is the first decent plough (except the JD 997 swing ploughs) I have seen been used in the US. The normal ones are 30% less effective.

Hello! Track tractors are impressive running wild! But their Achilles heel is going slow when hard pulling in soft ground...
I have always observed them lapping wheeled tractors in the field in heavy tillage. I have not observed slow down other than hard compacted area.

Cool tractors. Although, the way straw built up in that Amazone left me less than impressed. Also seems to bounce around & rock side-to-side a lot.
It was thick straw but the Amazone got right tough it. It did not leave it bunched at all.
I believe that BIG BUD are going to be built again with not really big horsepower something around 650 maybe 725 have you heard that to ?
The first new Big Bud will offer 640 hp. It will be introduced in April 2023.

My understanding is the SmartTrax II seem to be doing well. The ATI design looked tough but I have only hard complaints about them.

Unfortunately other than Fendt the other manufacturers do not list torque numbers in their sales brochures.

Unfortunately it's fast becoming the only way. So many herbicide resistant weeds hanging around now.
Glad there are fools out there who will give 1 million for 1 tractor. Case IH and John Deere and laughing all of the way to the bank.

I have never seen a 4 track tractor have an issue on a hill. I have watched two track models spin out on a hill with a large heavy implement.
