these two have been my life recently, and even with a four-minute song, there were so many things i reluctantly left out from their beautiful love story. it’s seriously insane to me how much my feelings evolved over this ship in such a short span of time. like, i started the show disliking them on principle because the writers initially set out to make michael seem shady and made rafael seem like the better choice for jane in every single way. and then i started to like them more and more with each little snippet of their past we got, until it grew into a full-blown obsession toward the end of season one where jane starts re-falling for michael :’))) (i’m right there with you, jane, TRUST) honestly, “well then i guess we’ll have to wait until we’re married then” HE SAID THAT WITH NO HESITATION OR ISSUES WITH HER DECISION AND I SWOONED SO HARD!!!!!! I LOVE MICHAEL’S LOVE FOR JANE SO MUCH FIGHT MEEEEEEE

And I agree with you!!! When he said that they'll wait until they're married with no hesitation I melted! And that was NO question asked to why. And the flashbacks of their past makes you see as to why in this moment of the story he's the best for her.

I love him! He made big mistakes, but in the series all of them have make them and they're fighting for their second chance, which is a great message as well.

I wish they could've been endgame! Damn the writers for his death in season 3! At least her and Rafael and good together too, but these two were magical. I'm okay with her and Rafael as endgame, but still would've preferred this.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.
I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse.
People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.
