The UK's First K9 Ultra Marathon Canicross

What an amazing day.....with one hundred and forty entrants and their K9 companions traveling from all over the UK as well as Belgium and France.... for the 1st ever Cani Ultra Marathon
The distance was 50km with over 1400m of elevation but on top of that the day threw all kinds of wether at the competitors including near gale force winds and sleet. The route was mix of loose muddy paths, fire road and narrow sheep tracks.
It was hard, very hard but it was also a fantastic experience and the event was organised and mapped out brilliantly.
