- Quick video. No editing just mowing. I have less than 6 hours on this machine and still learning.
This Bad Boy RevoltSD 34” also comes in 42”. It’s part of the homeowner line offered. I’m calling it “semi pro” because to me this is a whole lot of machine for the price!
I chose the RevoltSD 34” because of its smaller foot print than my previous ride on mower with a 42”. Also I didn’t thinking a sit down zero turn mower would work for the right spaces I have in my yard and neighbors yards.
I’ve added the advanced chute systems chute that allows me to control grass clipping discharge. I also put on Ballard Gold Hybrid blades. Worth every penny!
Jeff, thanks for throwing these videos up as a homeowner. I've been in the market for a zero turn for 6 years and never bit the bullet. The last few months I've thought of spending just a little more for something more, especially now with the summer heat and being another year older. Your videos from a homeowner perspective and seeing the size of your areas mowed helps me justify my quarter acre and not thinking it's too overkill. I know it's early, but are you pretty pleased with it so far? I'm looking at the 34" as well. Thanks!! Hope for another update in a week or two before I sink the cash :)
Coming from a riding LT3000 and a Troy Bilt Super Bronco (that didn’t mow in reverse, no bypass year) I couldn’t be happier either it. The size is right. 34” is exactly what I wanted and needed. The Revolt SD does come in 42”, but this fits just perfectly where I need it to, even better with the ACS chute blocker I have on it. My neighbor opted to wait till I got back from vacation so she’s going to be a 4 week growth! I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure I can record that! 🤣 I don’t know where you are, I’m in CT but my dealer ships nation wide. Merrit Hardware Inc in Bridgeport CT is on Facebook, he posts frequent deals, and has sales going on right now. He just listed the SD 42” for the price I paid for the 34”! Check them out. Jeff (no relation 😆) is super good people over there.
@@Thats_me_just_Jeff thanks for the reply. Good info. I’m in Jacksonville, Florida and have about 5 dealers within 30 minutes of me. I went to the closest one Saturday and stood on the 34” and felt it would be the size and power I wanted, even if the cost is higher than a big box zero turn (that won’t last as long). I’ve seen issues with them throwing deck belts frequently, but you haven’t seemed to have that happen yet.
@@betadeltadelta I haven’t had a deck belt thrown yet. I’m not mowing tough grass though. I have had a few quirks when trying to raise the deck back up. Haven’t figured it out yet. Only 8 hours so shouldn’t need grease. Hope your dealers have smoking deals! I couldn’t pass up 60 months at 0% financing.
