Chris, excellent video. I really like the way you explain things thoroughly, yet concisely! Very easy to follow. I installed splash guards on my 2019 Odyssey successfully based on your video. Thanks!
Excellent video. My Husband was able to easily install the splash guards. Your video misses the part of popping out the existing pop-in in the left rear but you can use a screwdriver to pop it out. Very easy
When I pull the bumber away from the fender to put in the grommet for the rear splash guards, I don't see a square hole, only a round one (which held the self-tapping screw). Is the square hole somehow hidden?
I believe you are talking about the one on the interior wall behind the tire for the spring nut? If that is the case, only one side has the square hole.
@@DIYwithChris Thanks for the speedy reply. I'm actually referring to the grommet installation you cover at 9:00. I have the EXL, could that have a different fender/bumper?
@@Honigschneke that could be the case, I remember that I had to look for it because it's location wasn't easy to see right off. Due to the power tailgate feature that is different from the EX we have, I'm sure that there are some slight difference in the design of the bumper as well.
Haha yes,you caught me! I was traveling for a while and then relaxing. We just bought a bunch of stuff for a new trip and presto! We have new videos. Working on finding a new spot so I can get more home improvement and woodworking videos up as well.
I'm 6 years behind but super thanks for this how-to video, Chris. Thumbs up!
