  • When the insurance company will not pay the Georgia workers' compensation benefits that they should, you may have to request a hearing in front of a judge. When you have your court date, both sides will have the opportunity to present evidence and then later make arguments to the workers' compensation judge. Georgia workers' compensation attorney Jason Perkins discusses how evidence is presented to a judge and how judges can reach a decision in this episode of the Georgia Workers' Compensation Video Series.

    Dr testimony’s
Like when the insurance examining doctor who ultimately closes the case and sends you to work full of lies.
Then is the only witness 1 of 5 not to show his face during a Zoom testimony with the “I don’t feel so good” but I’ll just call in.
Sounds perfectly fine over the phone and uses the word “sure” instead of Yes.

I’m glad to hear that the judge ruled in your favor. I hope you receive a favorable decision on the appeal soon.

Thanks for your question. I would be sure to address questions about the hearing to your lawyer. They should be able to give you information about what they expect at the hearing. Good luck with your hearing!

Congratulations on winning your case. Did your employer or the workers’ compensation insurance company file an appeal of the judge’s award?
