Day #11 of my Northwest USA Winter Tour and for this food challenge, I'm at China Blue Restaurant in Corvallis, Oregon. I'll be taking on their Lucky Sevens Chinese Chicken Challenge which was so delicious and I'll be attempting to get food challenge win #3 in Oregon and win the huge jackpot prize which was up to $1,000 cash!!

The China Blue Lucky Sevens Challenge ($30):
Challengers must eat SEVEN 1 lb servings of different Chinese chicken dishes in one hour or less. The seven chicken dishes include orange, lemon, sweet & sour, Hunan, General Tso's, Mandarin, and hazelnut. Everyone pays for the meal beforehand. Winners receive the cash jackpot which starts at $100 and goes up by $100 every month that nobody beats it. When I attempted this challenge, the jackpot was up to $1,000 cash. Many of my good competitive eating friends have beaten this!!

DionysusAlS So basically the rule should be: “only people who definitely won’t finish this challenge are allowed to do the challenge?” That would look really bad on whatever restaurant does the competition.
@@willowandluka5302, well, I'm guessing there are people who are just amateur gourmands and don't tour the world entering eating contests for prize money. Maybe they could be competitive eaters if they dedicated themselves to it, but they don't.

@@whitemale70 when your insulin is raised, you release aldosterone which is a kidney hormone causing it to retain water. If you eat less carbs, you have low insulin and you release water. Swelling is a sign of high insulin which is not a good thing if it happens regularly. That leads to insulin resistance and diabetes. Sodium is very much a needed mineral and should be eaten generously. The issue is the high carb diet along with a high seed oil linoleic acid diet.. Canola, soy, sunflower, safflower.. Most packaged goods have them..mixed with high carb wheat, corn and soy. Pure filth. Eat fresh. Fast most often. Eat highly bioavailable foods like fatty meats nose to tail eating.
Do you take laxative after a challenge cause I believe sometime it must be difficult to process all that food.

I must say Randy Santel im a fan for about 3 years now. And I love Chinese restaurants. Im allergic to seafood so I usually eat the chicken and vegetable dishes. I must say what you are eating looks SO GOOD! I'm kinda jealous lol.

Nah it's not. Fast food has destroyed the value of "food". That should have cost 10x as much if the AnAg markets weren't rigged and this wasn't factory farmed.
7lbs of chicken is way less if u bought it at the grocery store. Plus you could cook it how ever you like.
Whole priced bulk chicken is even cheaper. Anywhere between .25c-.99cents a pound. I used to see 20lb bag of chicken thighs at the groceries for $5-8 depending who sold it.
I used to live in Corvallis and thought about trying that challenge several times! Never did since I didn't want to deal with the aftermath. China Blue is a really good place!
