the ocean crashing on the rocks wasnt due to the dub, its from toei the japanese company that owns the rights to db. pretty sure the orinal dub compaby was just actually named ocean. id have to look it up lol
@@ComicBookASMR yeah I thought Buu Was Cooler Then Cell But The Cell/Androids Arc itself was better than the Buu Arc. Buu Arc Has Better Villain, But Cell Arc Has Better story. I still love all the sagas tho. My favorite arc is Frieza
So the manga is just called dragon ball from bulma meeting goku till buu is killed. They broke the story up in show form in Japan gt is created by someone else but Toriyama did some of the beginning. Super completely recons GT. That being said that's main line canon. They have officially said with things like dragon ball heros and the game xenoverse there is a multiverse all things are canon. Dragon ball kai is more of a remaster of dbz. There isnt much filler at all in dragon ball z everything in the show is in the manga but the the short saga with the dead zone villain. The stuff with the powering up and charging and yelling for episodes is literally in the manga it's the same thing yelling and charging for pages lol. And lastly you need to do your self a favor and watch super its hands down the best part of the dragon series. Its writing and action honestly make dbz almost look bad lol it's well worth it.

Definitely lots of different story elements for sure. I really want to watch Super, I just need it collected so I can binge it!
