- KMT (Pschew) is a common Jamaican slang expression with multiple meanings. So we asked Jamaicans how do you spell it? Watch to find out if they knew how!
KMT (Kiss My Teeth) “PSCHEW”
ACRONYM
A Jamaican slang used to express:
dissaproval, dissatisfaction, annoyonce, frustration
(people tend to use it in their own context depending on the situation)
There are no people like Jamaican people. Full of expression. I love them so much. This is hilarious. 😆 My husband does it a lot! 😂
Jamaican Love!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm a "KMT" queen. I get so easily irritated, so I'm forever hissing. It's a sound that's made to express annoyance, disgust, disappointment, disapproval etc. It's not an actual word that is spelt. Jamaicans are hilarious.
Hahaha true say lol
true but we have onomatopoeia for so many other sounds. "bow wow" "ha ha", it's an interesting thought experiment to spell teeth sucking a sound that's equally socially important
Africa is here😇😇😇😇 from Senegal.
We kiss our teeth.
Yess 💪🏾!!!
I grew up in Kenya so do they!!!
Love Child it must be a black people thing then! Lol
@@Jahkota LOL must be!

This is so funny. I know everyone teeth were cleaned out repeating it so often. #2024
Im Filipino (Southeast Asian) & I would hear my Grandpa do this all the time growing up when he was pissed lol but we do it differently tho, we do it more abruptly as opposed to holding it out
Thank you for sharing that!! I love hearing peoples perspectives on it!! So much diversity!! Salamat!!
Nigerian (especially women) are the world champions of extending it out.
Haha I think it's originally African because every African knows this. Well they know the expression. They invented it lol
