The problem with Nimrod, being the man made robot who has all the super powers, is that a world where humans can make him is a world where humans never would make him. If he can just have all the super powers, then anyone can just have a device or armor or whatever to have one, many, or all the super powers. So why chance making skynet and unleashing rogue AI when you can arm humans with all those abilities with ease? On top of that, if everyone is an equally powerful god with no fear of hunger, illness, or even death, then there's no reason to fight anyone anymore. "Oh, you have the power to manipulate magnatizim with your mind? Cool, me too, I bought the new megno-gauntlet last week." Amazo from DC comics has the exact same problem. If you can build a device that can mimic all of Superman's powers just by looking at him, how are you not already ushering in the next phase of mankind's evolution yourself?

Atleast in the Krokan Era, he would be the only weapon that would be able counter the Mutants various ways to attack.
Go watch how a Nimrod who just woke up disposes of a Blackhole bomb or takes out 2 omegas and.. wolverine lol. In that run just to build him was a pain but worth it since he would survive and tank pretty much everything.
You cant put that tech on someone as someone like Xorn or some oddball you would never think of would kill you, harvest the tech and crack it.

The premis of the future that led to the creation of the broken Era is that eventually humans gave themselves super powers through genetic manipulation, but without an X gene, but decided to keep fighting anyways out if hate for the x gene. That makes no sense. At that point all humans are capable of being reality vending gods, but decide to continue a pointless war. There is no competition for resources or space, so there shouldn't be war.
Well humans wouldnt make nimrod but the "guardians" we made or ai workers that went rouge would, thats exactly what happened in the comics. Humans didnt make nimrod. The now rouge sentinals did for the exact reason you said. To upgrade themselfs, to evolve

Seeing Nimrod literally drop in at the latest hellfire gala and slaughter the newest iteration of the X-men was horrible. He tore Dazzler in half, smashed Jubilees head in, took out juggernaut, injected molecular napalm into iceman’s body, killing an omega level mutant once thought nigh immortal.
Yeah that sucker punch was crazy.
And then a week later they brought them all back
He’s still night immortal. He destroyed iceman’s body but he conscience kept existing. Orchis actually tried to find a way to actually kill him but they still found none

Hmm, wierd comparison. But they do both adapt, one in fights, one upon "death". One is a calculating machine of directed destruction. The other is mindless biological machine of general destruction.
Imagine evacuating Apokalips and drop Nimrod and Doomsday on it. As Doomsday is superpowered, Nimrod wont like that. As Nimrod is a moving object, Doomsday wont like that. And the greatest battle in history occurs. Impossible to film or write that, just what I can imagine.

In my opinion nimrod was made with Stark technology with some of Trask or Ultrons model body's. Their are was to defeat him by jamming some of his weapons or have the power of the Phenix or silver surfer cable and a few other mutants have defeated him I still think he's a awesome super villain the x- men have fought.

I love the way he was presented in the Krokan era to start (Havent read since Destiny of X) but he w a s the weapon that would be able to take on any and all mutant powers.
Man took out a blackhole after he just woke up and had a useless human holding him back, and took out 13 verison of Kid Omega and Domino (to say fighting her and making out alive is something) ... and wolverine lol.
He was the only threat that face the Mutants, negate them and just pommel them.

Nimrod is so stupid. What a dumb character. I hate his plot armor that he can just beat all the X-men because he has plot armor. When any number of omega level mutants should be able to easily beat him if the stupid marvel writers had any consistency at all. A character like Sentry or Hulk, should be able to take apart a nimrod like it's made of paper or unmake it on some cosmic submolecular level that it couldn't possibly defend against. How do you beat a reality warper? It's dumb. Bad writing.
