So funny enough, before this came out, I have changed to a darker brown, but I’m definitely interested in changing my bangs up like you have suggested to get them away from my face a bit more and I would 100% love to get some more layers in my hair and learn to embrace my natural curls a bit more. This was very helpful and everyone in the comments is so sweet! I appreciate all the kind comments ❤

Her facial features are proportionate to each other. The bangs she is/was wearing are hiding all of that. I really like the shorter curly style on her. Then being able to straighten it when she wants to will give her versitility. When her bangs are away from the center of her face, shows off her eyes! So pretty!
As a curly girl I would love to see her in #3. That photo of her just made me say “WOW”!

I like the straight hair and long. My hair dresser always wants to chop my hair off and I feel younger with longer hair even though I’m 63. Not saying my hair is that length, but it takes more time to style shorter hair.
Totally agree, most women feel older with shorter hair especially after having had long hair. The tip is to have the correct length and a good style not long hair just dangling down

I love all three curveballs! As someone who has always had bangs (I’m not against bangs!) I think Sarah looks so much better without bangs. Or at least with the longer side swept bangs in the curveballs. Her face is so bright & lovely - she needs to show it off!!
I have always had bangs. Someone once told me that people like to have bangs because it helps them to hide themselves in a way. Like a mask or protection. I just think I look a lot better with bangs! Lol I've been experimenting with curtain bangs lately. I can never wear my bangs completely pulled back from my face...i feel too open....so maybe that does say something about using bangs as a sort of protection....
I think Sarah looked great with the bangs parted away from her face. They hid too much of it. And she looks so much more youthful with them parted. Shows her pretty face.
She does not have a lazy eye, but has beautiful eyes. Her nose is perfect. I love Curveball #3 on her! This was so interesting! I love the way that you explained things. I too have that wavy/semi curly hair and feel that it has not been taken into consideration during cuts. I would love to do my own hair in style #3 but have no idea how to achieve it.

Hi, Justin: This was so entertaining and informative! I loved Curveball #3 the most - I felt like it flattered her features beautifully and was the least matronly of the options. She looked young and vibrant in this style ♥. And I have to point out that she has beautiful features - we are all WAY too hard on ourselves! Love her eyes and her nose is PERFECT!
I love curveball #3 on her. It doesn't drag her down like the real long styles, softens her facial features and opens up her face to show off her eyes. I like the darker color hair with the highlighting too.

Curveball one looks really flattering! It opens up her beautiful face so much more. It's funny how people "see" themselves versus how others see them. I don't see anything weird about the shape of her face, or anything off about her eyes or nose. But I myself can be uber critical about my "faults" too so I get it.

I did not notice the lazy eye either! I agree we are harder on ourselves, focusing on our faults to the pt of obsession sometimes. I personally liked the first curveball. The length and style actually makes her look younger and lights up her face.

Sometimes when we are looking at ourselves in the mirror, we might focus in such a way that it appears that we have a lazy eye. That is not actually how we present ourselves.

All of your changes take the hair off her forehead instead of leaving bangs there. Face shape with narrowing at the temples, wrinkles and a receding hairline will always keep my bangs on my forehead. Wonder what she thought about the suggestions.
LL I was totally surprised when she mentioned the lazy eye - she’s lovely. First choice would be curveball 2. If she doesn’t want the color maintenance then curveball 1 looks fantastic also.

I didn't see the things Sarah pointed out. My favorite style was the last one. The curly hair looked soft and breezy, and hopefully it would be easier to maintain as a busy mom.
Would keep the length of the hair, do a bit more layering and shape sides in front to fit with bang situation
Let sides of the bang grow longer and lighten up the rest of it a bit ,but a shorter bang not too heavy is a fun look..again the pic of Sara with natural wavy hair is awesome
So a bit of highlights and she could wear the hair natural or style it a bit away from the face❤and also do a pony tail which is very useful and then a bang ads a lot to the look too.🌹😊

I like the bob on her and the darker color you suggested. Very pretty and suits her. Yeah we are our own worst critic. I think that comes from when our looks change due to maturity, the wrong cut and we start to notice things more. And simple things like a new haircut and brow shaping can help. Just changing the bangs on her makes a huge difference ,regarding her perception of her nose (it's normal size).
I have been looking into getting a bob cut, so I think I will use your suggestion, next month. I'm happy with my features, except my lips are thin. I noticed she has beautiful, full lips..Well, there are always something(s) about ourselves that we don't like and or do like . Thanks for addressing this issue, it's very common.

Sarah does have beautiful eyes. I love the curly hair. And the red. My daughter does her hair that color a lot. And it always looks good.
#3 for the Win! For a young Mom, less time spent on hairstyling is a huge time saver. She has a great natural wavy texture, embrace it! I feel she could also rock a wolf cut and a love a deeper brown on her as it really makes her eyes pop. I say pass on the auburn or red highlights, they are too much maintenance.

Curveball 3 with curls is my pick - otherwise short with the red or else brown color. Her face is a beautiful shape and she’s lucky - she can sport a shorter cut and look gorgeous! She has the perfect hair type, texture and natural color to pull off curveball 3. Great job!
She has an amazing face, and opening it up with side swept or lighter bangs goes a long way to balancing out her overall proportions. I like the mid-range lengths either curly or blown out straighter. When I was a young mom, I remember having short hair that I still had to do something with everyday. Having enough length for a quick ponytail would have been easier. But, she would look amazing with any of the options you are suggesting!

Isn’t it funny how we see “flaws” in ourselves that nobody else notices? I mean… to me, Sarah’s nose is the dream. Honestly, I am obsessed with how gorgeous she is and how stunning her nose is. (I have a thing for beautiful noses, IDK why, but hers really fits into the category.) Also, I agree with the fans of curveball three… ooooor… how about a cut like the lob Justin gave Dionna? Easy to pull away for a new mom (congrats, Sarah!), easy to style since the waves are naturally there, and very flattering. At least that’s what I thought but I am NOT a professional. 🌞

I Love the last option with the shorter style with layers and the natural curl. I think the style is more versatile and she would have the option to wear her hair straight or with some natural curl.
