Music icon and legend - Gerry Rafferty's 'City to City' debut solo album that 'Baker Street' was first released had no sleepers, including one of my very favourite songs along with Baker Street in 'Island' but every song on the album was high class with the album being right up there with the very best albums that have ever been produced which justifiably puts Gerry Rafferty right up there with some of the greatest ever musicians in rock n' roll. His follow-up album one year later after City to City, namely 'Night Owl' was also of high quality, the man could write, compose, sing and play great music, PERIOD..... a musical icon and legend was Gerry Rafferty.
