Evenflo Gold provides lifetime warranty while most of the manufacture offer 2 - 3 year warranty. Evenflo will replace the car seat even after a motor vehicle accident. This is a big selling point but I rarely see anyone mention it.
@@JCo-bx3tq Good question! But I don't have a clear idea either... Is it required by law for the insurance companies to offer the replacement? Can I get the replacement if I don't have the comprehensive coverage? Is it a replacement of the exact same seat, or anything but capped to a price limit? There are many uncertainties to me...
To add to your comment I think only the Gold edition will replace it, they have a non-Gold version that's around $330 but I'm not sure if they offer replacement in a wreck with that version.
I was actually about to mention this! There is a different evenflo 360 revolve that is NOT gold which only covers a 1 year warranty but as long as it is the evenflo gold it covers the lifetime of the seat! The other differences are the fabric and also the tethers are a bit different but for me that isn't a huge difference between the price points it's mostly the warranty for me. Graco just released a 3 in 1 revolve as well which is a bit laughable to me because it only goes up to 100 lbs and they charge 50$ more for the thing with the same issue as the cybex being you can't rotate the carseat once it is forward facing. For me once again evenflo wins this one.
We have both the cybex sirona S and Evenflo 360. Cybex feels more premium. There are some annoyances with the Evenflo. But I would recommend the Evenflo every single time because Cybex never feels secure. I have installed the cybex about 15 times and i never feel good about it. The Evenflo feels secure and I can just forget about it. I did have to reinstall once because I needed to remove the seat base to be able to use the fold down seats. Felt 100% secure again. Safety is the most important factor and Evenflo wins in that department.
did you notice the seat having a little play once it's attached to the base? and what do you think about the recline modes? would you recommend it for daily use on a bumpy dirt road? I bought this yesterday but returned it once I installed it and noticed there's quite a bit of play in the seat even with everything tight.
So we just got ours (yay!). No regrets wth the Evenflo. The fact that it detaches for easy cleaning, the easy swivel mechanism, never having to rethread the straps as the kid grows, annnnd going up to 120lbs had us sold.
I did want to mention as well that the sensor safe for the evenflo carseat IS available in the Canadian models I called Evenflo and actually spoke to them about these things and you did bring up a good point about the carseats as my current carseat I can barely fit in my car being a buick encore rear facing. So now I definitely want to go out and try this before I commit to any of these carseats but the Evenflo is like my dream carseat I wish I had it for my oldest I'm due in December and my oldest is now 3 lol
Thanks for this! I totally agree about the Cybex magnetic holders don't work too well but I've noticed I don't really need them for my toddler like I did when she was an infant. Going to try the evenflo for our second child.
Nuna came out with a rotating car seat. So expensive ! And the Weight limit is only 40lbs!!! In my opinion evenflo is the best value for what it offers
Love your comparison review Im evenflo # 1 fan and im update my another evenflo for the 360 evenflo. The only issues that I don’t really mind but just wish that the evenflo 360 booster seat still had its harness belt but again not a dealbreaker thank you .
Did you find that your child sat at an upward angle forward facing? I saw in a review that the seat is deep and the child’s knees sit in a higher angle forward facing and could potentially cause the child in the booster position to not be able to reach the seat belt to buckle themselves when they’re booster seat age.
You should review the jogger baby city turn convertible car seat just got one today and I'm really liking it alot although that evenflo seems like the most versatile of them all.
Thank you for this!!!!!!!!!!! Very thorough review and you convinced me to go with Evenflo. My grandson is over 20 pounds at 5 months and I definitely need this 360 feature and I appreciate you saving my some extra $$ : )
I'd love to get some information on how these fit in different sized vehicles. I have a sedan... will the seat fit in the back of a sedan or smaller car? I cannot find much on this in any reviews. Most reviews show installations in larger cars/SUVs. I know they aren't super compact, but it'd be helpful to get some information on how long front-to-back they are, esp in rear-facing mode, or maybe to show how one fits in a smaller car like a Toyota Prius or Honda Civic, for eg.
That’s really tricky but I understand the importance! I had a smaller car when I was pregnant with our oldest and was worried about what would fit versus what didn’t. I will say if you can make it to a buybuybaby, they’ll allow you to test car seats in your car. I’m not sure I could confidently say that either of these car seats would fit in the back of a smaller vehicle. Even a sedan may be pushing it. I’m sorry!
Thank you so much for putting this review out, it really helped me out on a decision. I do have one question, I usually sit in the back seat with my 7mo baby, do you think there would be enough space in the back for me and my 9yr old with the Evenflo revolve car seat ?
Aw you’re so welcome!! I’d say it would depend on the kind of vehicle you have. If you have a small-midsize car, it may be a snug fit but probably not unbearable. If you have an SUV or sedan you’ll probably be comfortable!
That’s tough! The Cybex definitely has more cushion but so much so I notice our youngest was constantly drenched in sweat. Shes never complained about the Evenflo (even on longer trips) and has never been sweaty in it!
I have the cybex sirona s.I can't get answer from company about my issue. After I changed the seat to forward facing it will not move. It won't swivel to side to put child in nor will it recline. Do you know if the seat is supposed to swivel to side to load child after changing to forward facing? Ty
Thank you! You mentioned that you can buy additional bases for the Evenflo…where? I can’t find it! That was the one thing holding me back! Thank you again!!
We got the Evenflow a few weeks ago (?) I didn't like it at all at first, now after a week of using it, I'm considering getting one for Lilly too! 😂 I love that the teather is on the base and not the seat I feel like with the cybex that defeats the purpose. Plus I love the life long use of the evenflow. The only complaint I have is the shoulder pads I absolutely hate that I can't take them out.

I bought this yesterday but returned it once I installed it and noticed there's quite a bit of play in the seat even with everything tight.
I’ll have 3, 3 and under so that’s 3 seats across. I have my 8 yr old in the back row. I wonder how the turn would be with evenflo with a car seat next to it??? My girls have the maxi cosi Pria 70, & maxi cosi Magellan max. I love the swivel feature on those on the review.
That’s really interesting though because I wonder too! I want to say it may not work as well going certain directions but I can’t say for sure. Hopefully someone else can come along and give us a better idea! The swivel is an awesome feature!

@@lindsaysarr1351 I went with the Cybex. I tried her in the even Flo at the store and she seemed to fit ok. I think either seat would be a great choice. If you purchase just be sure not to check for tightness at the seat top. It wiggles a lot. Just check at the belt path.

I tried it in my 05 Chevy Silverado and that has as much room as rav4 and it fit just fine the only problem I had and the reason why I took it back was once the base is in and then you put the seat in there's just a little too much wiggle and play in the seat for my taste especially when I have to go on bumpy dirt roads with my boy he's 11 months now. it seems like he wouldn't be as secured or tight in those situations
Hi so which one do you recommend the most? My girls is 4 months old and she is in the 99 percentile of height😅 she doesn’t fit anymore in her infant carseat. Do you know which one is the safest? I want “the safest one”. Thank you for your review 😊
I personally like the EvenFlo a bit more but if you're looking for the most safety features that would be the Cybex! The load-leg and anti-rebound base are extra safety measures.
