Thanks for the video. I wanted to buy a replacement to my Celestron AZ102 660mm which isn't perfect, but now I think the AZ102 is much better than even the revised version of 48p 102mm svbony. I'm glad I cancelled my order.
I'm not expert in optics, but I think the old lens has astigmatism, stars looking like crosses. The replacement looks better, maybe once you tame the tracking issue and also if you add a generic field flattener, star shape will improve even more. In case you are interested, there is a god scope that normally doesn't cost too much in the used market and is really good, the Orion/celestron/Skywatcher ED80. Underrated scope, but is very good. But if you plan to keep the svbony, that's fine too, we gotta use what we have! All the best. Clear skies!
I tested this scope for two weeks and had problems with focus and images were not as sharp even with image correction filter. Quality of the telescope was awesome. I have the Sv48p 90mm that is awesome and I use it for imaging rig.

Pinched optic case...??? Or lens curvature defect...???
Good question! Wish I knew the answer.
