Let’s not ignore that Amber is upset about people ridiculing her mom’s drug addiction, when she literally threw Destinys brother drug addiction in her face. People are dragging her for this bc Amber only cares about this stuff when it affects her. She has no problem doing or saying shitty things to other people.

Which is totally fine but I've hardly ever seen him take a stance thats not just totally common sense. I consider it a "celebrity take". Things missed in this video:
1. Amber Lynn has had the mom (shown her) on her channel years before this
2. The mom’s record was published on the farms yearrrs ago and is public record that states momma Lynn pled guilty to the animal charge (it’s later been refuted due to an actual error on the court’s side)
3. Amber has talked about her parents sooo many times and blames her current behavior on them and isn’t willing to take accountability
4. Ambers mom did post about beating her own mother on Facebook
5. The reaction channel went over things that had been public discussion for years literally over 5 years that has been discussed by Amber herself at times on her channel
6. Amber has monetized all of this aka is making money off it and manipulated her audience by saying she was forced to talk about what she already talked about.
But going live and reading court records for giggles doesn’t seem messed up to you?
Amber brought all of this to light and monetized it to enrich herself. Do I feel sorry for her ? No she’s made thousands of dollars for exploiting her mothers past (which we really never have found out of her mom consented to) but Amber made it a plot line for years and continues to this day to say my mom went to jail ,my mom had issues related to control , I was harmed by my mothers actions because I was put in foster care and therefore lost out on childhood she deserved in essence. Amber projected to hundreds of thousands of people for over a decade her mother’s criminal and non criminal past but then is all surprised picachu when people fact check her when she’s a self admitted in multiple videos - a liar. At this point to be nearly pathological liar as she admits to trolling. People genuinely tried to give her benefit of the doubt and DISPROVE her childhood because they didn’t want to believe she went though all that and that her mother was ok… but then people found that yes unfortunately her childhood was essentially stolen from her and she was dealt a bad hand if you will.

I will say, I don’t agree with what’s happened to her mum. However, Amberlynn told Destiny within the last year that she had “tea” on her family. That tea being that Destiny’s brother had been a coke addict.
So maybe this is hitting ALR so hard because it’s HER family this time.

I don't have a single ounce of sympathy for this woman. She tried to use her ex's brothers addiction as a weapon and as tea, then outed that her ex's father wasn't her real Dad(all that was less than a year ago) hes used her mother's addictions and actiins as a sympathy and for financial gain. Respectfully disagree with this take on it, specifically because you say you don’t know which reaction channel did this and therefore you are taking AL’s word on how it went down (BIG mistake IMO). If you had watched it, you would have seen this reaction channel simply read the list of charges because someone in his live chat asked what she had been charged with and then say “we don’t have the full story on what did or did not happen”. He in no way attacked Momma Lynn or disregarded her sobriety. He gave his opinion that IF she had hurt a service animal, he found that to be unforgivable “in his opinion”.

And I do agree people shouldn’t be crossing the line blasting personal information. I just opened my twitter and someone posted it around the time she accused destiny of killing her own dog.

When grandma kicked amber out, amber started trashing her whole family and said her grandmother was cheating on her grandfather, traumatic things happened to amber because of her grandfather, her grandmother wouldn’t stop lying about cancer, and that her grandmother was trying to force amber to smoke weed 🤨 She also outed her aunt’s droog a-ddiction and shamed her for not being able to lose weight until she was “wayyy older” than amber.
Aside from the time grandma kicked amber out for the sake of mamalynn’s sobriety, amber made several videos talking about her mother’s cancer and then made a video trashing her mother for not immediately speaking to her upon release from prison. Amber’s mom told her _caring daughter_ that she wanted to focus on her sobriety, but amber used the video to guilt her mother…you know, THE ONE WHO WAS RECOVERING FROM CANCER, NAVIGATING RELEASE FROM PRISON, AND SOBRIETY! It was disgusting and selfish. Amber does not care about anyone but Amber - this will never change. Her family knows she is toxic and destructive, and refuses to seek mental help. Amber herself has established a pattern of lying and insulting people when they do not want to talk to her. She has zero morals so no, im not buying the fake tears anymore.

I’m a former addict and so is my mom. We never beat each other. Addiction doesn’t cause lack of morality, it simply brings it to light. There’s no justifying abandoning her children, causing them serious lifelong trauma, and violently beating her mother. Also, Amber herself thinks drug addiction is “tea.” She said she had “tea” on destiny’s brother and that it related to drugs. Stop making her out to be a victim, she isn’t.

it’s kind of common, something like an unwritten rule, so i don’t think it’s just Amber’s thing. you’re allowed to call yourself fat, but other people shouldn’t even if they think you are. you can tell how rough your childhood was, but that doesn’t invite others to talk badly about your family for whatever happened. is this really something you never noticed?
Amber has been bringing this up for years. Now, I don’t know her mom. I don’t know what kind of person she is. We only have the narrative that Amber has given us. I think she is defending her mom (which I get…it’s her mom), because she knows that she brought some of this on herself. And Amber cannot really survive on her own. She needs someone around.
Having the reaction channel read out the charges is no different than a bigger RUclipsr with a higher production value making videos on a sketchy person. RUclipsrs like TurkeyTom that make documentaries on sketchy people do things like this all the time. There being a clerical error on a government website is not the reaction channel's fault. Amber has monetized her parents' addictions for about a decade now. The general point of reactionary videos are for entertainment/comedic purposes, yes, but if you listen to Jordy’s video, he was discussing the severity and depravity of the crimes Amberlynn’s mom has committed. Service animal or not, she has been physically violent/abusive, and I don’t see the problem with reading off records that are already available to the public when it was Amberlynn that brought this to our attention in the first place and has profited off of the videos doing so.

Three minutes in and I'm out. Not everyone has happy ever after stories with addicted parents even when they get better. Maybe Amber does. Amber was wrong to post this, plus so far make two more vlogs about it, mostly about herself. This story will be dragged out by her for more to come until most of us are sick of it and she will blame giving up her latest "diet" to the stress. I didn't approve of Jordy's reading off the charges, didn't see why that was necessary or germane. But Amber made the whole thing worse.
I definitely disagree John. It’s one thing when someone shows REAL growth and change. Amber hasn’t done that. All she’s done is gotten better about discernment (barely) and hiding the bad parts.

What was done to her mom was bad yes but considering ALR didn't think twice before saying she had "tea" on Destiny's family because her brother was also an addict, I don't think i can find my sympathy bone. Normally, I might feel sorry for the person this situation happened to, but it's honestly hard for me to feel sorry for Amber when even her tears are fake. She's just using her mom the same way she's using everyone else around her.
sooooooooo heres my thing. Under normal circumstances, for normal people, I would absolutely agree with you. HOWEVER, in ALR's case, she has a history of (1) talking about these things HERSELF and talking shit about her OWN family, including her mother and; (2) digging up 'dirt' or talking about other people's situations or other creators family members that have NOT already made it public knowledge.
If you are going to dish it out, you better be ready to have it served back to you.
Intentionally or otherwise, she likes to play the victim. And this plays into it perfectly.
And lets be real, if your diet and lifestyle is causing you to have anxiety over having a heart attack.... maybe, JUST MAYBE, you should ACTUALLY make changes and make healthier choices to help PREVENT that. Her fear of a heart attack is NOT unfounded but her lack of actual, consistent dedication to PREVENTING and CORRECTING those health issues, is a very conscious choice.
This was wrong, but its a situation she created. ALR wants the best of both worlds - she wants to troll her audience and rile them up for attention. BUT then she turns off the troll and wants her audeince to be supportive and understanding. She cant have both.
Not excusing it but after all the negative attention ALR has gotten herself through her entire YT journey, she should have been aware this would happen by getting her mother involved on the channel. This shouldn't really be a surprise for her.

She's talked about how she "wants to lose weight" to wear jeans and high heels etc. those aren't unreasonable goals for a normal person who isn't morbidly obese but she's not one of those ppl. She still hasn't accepted that and the fact that she wants to lose weight (supposedly) to wear certain things and not to save her life that's insane. ALR has used it to gather sympathy for years. While in her video acting like all this happened because her mom was in her video for 5 seconds, and not because she's put her mother on blast since the beginning. She's manipulating you, again! ALR had to move in with Casey because she was such a threat to her mom's sobriety that grandma wouldn't let her move home. ALR made a vlog on 11/25/15 titled "My Mom is in Prison" announcing that her mom was sentenced to 5 years and had to serve her entire sentence. ALR remains her mom's biggest threat to sobriety.

Amber spent years disclosing all the horrible things supposedly what her mother and father had done, and basically used it for content, and is surprised that after bashing her family, her mother for the last 10 years, she surprised that people decide to call her mother out on the disgusting things that she has done. Amber by no means is an angel and she had no problem going at Becky’s mother knowing the woman was dying of cancer, and starts a fight with her on the day she’s having chemotherapy. Amber has called out numerous people, including destiny‘s brother for being a drug addict. Or she can’t find her sympathy bone when narc alert had a heart attack, so I don’t feel sorry for her at all. Amber is getting a taste of her own medicine and she don’t like it!
Like most of the people have stated in the comments. You didnt do your research before making this video. You seem to have just reacted from an emotionally triggered place. Her mother’s criminal history has been part of ALR’s content for years and therefore her mother’s charges have been discussed publicly for about 10 years. So it is already out there. As for the charges against the dog, there was a typo in entering the code of the charges, or so it was casually concluded when neither the court’s nor police documents can find anything about a dog in the transcripts of the trial and notes nor in police reports. A random reaction channel made the effort ALR and her family should have done, to straightened out their records.

A lot of people have been bringing up their own stories and relationships as exanples for why Mamalynn shouldnt be forgiven and I very rarely defend Amber but I do think its weird for other people to try and decide what is and is not forgiveable. I need to disagree with you on this. Criminal records are public record, the US has a public justice system both to ensure fairness and so that people can be aware of unsafe people and avoid them. If you do not want to be known for criminal acts the solution is very easy: don't do bad things. Anyone has the right to publish any criminal record at any time, legally and morally.
Frankly MORE channels should do that digging and call out criminals online. Too many get away with people just hoping no one knows what a disgusting person they are. Also her particular charges are disgusting and show a poor moral character, something people who follow her need to be aware of.

You can speak for yourself and not for all. Some people might have been angry with themselves and drugs made them lash out at others. Others may have had a rough upbringing and expressed themselves with violence. Yeah it really bothered me that Amber tried to excuse her mother's behavior by clarifying that she was high when she did these things. Obviously we don't know how her mother would recount the stories or if she would hold herself accountable but I typically hear more contrition from people who are sober.
Her mother’s charges are public record. Therefore I don’t believe that mamalynn did not know where this charge came from. My theory* is that mamalynn took a plea deal to drop the charge, leading to her only being convicted of battery against her mother (which is also unacceptable imo). Her mom can easily say “no i never did that” if she believed the charge was wiped from history-might be an error that it is still listed on a specific place, but it got there somehow to begin with-This would make sense given the family history of mental illness, lack of accountability, and excusing abhorrent behavior. I think if her mom was truly sooo hurt, sooo shocked, she would come on camera herself and tell the story and take accountability. This just doesnt appear to be the response of a truly honest and innocent person (having your daughter go on cam and cry for you and monetize it).

Personally, my brother had an animal abuse charge against police dog for YEARS. Why? He refused to get out of his car & let the police search it in the middle of the night with no reason or warrant. He was accused of interfering and harming the dog. There was no dog. The literal body cam footage showed that there was never a dog on the scene. Court records arent written by God.
And once it was revealed that Amberlynn's mom didn't hurt any dog, most of the comments saying Amberlynn's mom "should have changed it." They take a lot of work to get changed. And for an addict, it can be painful to revisit that part of life anyway. So going through a SOBER person's past by blindly believing court records with no regard to how airing stuff like that puts literal life & relapse at risk is just...At a certain point, I feel like some reaction channels are making critical judgements on a reality that they know nothing about. And believe they are in the right when they can be just as bad as she is.

I just came here to say that people are giving MedSpas a bad name for GLP-1 medications. I get mine from a MedSpa and my location has both a board certified MD and CNP. They know what they are doing and more than qualified to prescribe and monitor this medication, and the medication itself is coming from reputable pharmacies.

Idk how other med spas are but when I had to utilize them to stay hydrated and get b12 after weight loss surgery ours was staffed with actual nurses and was ran by a PA, NP, or MD to prescribe the treatments. There likely is a level of monitoring and honestly something like Ozempic even if prescribed by your primary care physician you are likely given a list of possible side effects that you should seek medical attention for and they will advise you to go to the ER just like a med spa will. While I don’t think every one should have ready access to purchase the drug she has already been on it so for her she will likely be fine utilizing a med spa. I think of it like me I occasionally go off my adhd medication and when I decide to go back on my PCP just gives it to me and I start back up no issue. I genuinely hope this is the year it clicks for her and she makes the changes. Everyone deserves to love themselves, grow, and heal. I hope she proves us all wrong one day soon and has a journey of growth. I was pretty toxic and problematic when I was younger and had a chip on my shoulder too and now I’m all crunchy peace and love so I know there is hope for everyone.

I was a fentanyl, heroin and crack addicted escort for about a decade. I went to prison in 2019 and found out I was pregnant when I got there. I seemingly did a 180 overnight. I chose to have my child and turn my life around for US. I have a beautiful 4.5 year old son who I love more than anything and I have almost 5 years sober. That being said, I cannot imagine someone bringing up my past mistakes for years to come. Especially her if her mom has been sober for 10 years. I'm not saying it's ok to unalive a police dog (if she did) but how long are we going to keep making her pay for that?
