Great video and great perseverance.if you’re out by the water you always have a chance of hitting into something big even in the toughest conditions keep going geez 🥶by the way the new zombie bite logo is 🔥
Thanks a lot mate! I'm always out by the water when I can, today was -7 and I was fishing, unfortunately no bites 😅 ah thank you, glad you like the new logo, I wanted to change for a while, this one has a lot more to do with me to be fair 🤘
Thanks a lot buddy! Give it a go, if you're not sure take some small lures in case there's some perch and you still have the chance of catching a pike on the small stuff 💪😁
@@zombiebitefishing yeah that sounds like a plan thank you 😊 going to get a abu garcia fast attack now instead of the genike as its a bit of a heavier rod so I can use some larger lures too 😀
Full of babies right? Which I think it's an amazing sign, hopefully they all can grow healthy there, but definitely tough to find a good fish. They're there though, one of the anglers there showed me pictures! Thanks a lot buddy 🙏
@@zombiebitefishing Id be willing to tell you a place near Manchester that holds huge pike barely anyone fishes it apart from me I've had countless pike there seem to average 12-13lb. waters not owned by anyone. drop me a message
@po6795 average 12-13lb is insane mate!!! I really appreciate that, barely anyone shares spots, especially good ones like that, thank you! Drop me a message on IG or Facebook mate!
Haha same mate! Great lure, I don't know if you tried it already, but the swimming action on it is insane! Unfortunately it's been really tough around here and I just been catching them on smaller things, I'm sure it will catch loads with different conditions!
Nice one bro, it's been so tough lately but it always pays off to be out there even when the weather is against us. That big pike is extremely good at playing hide and seek. We never seem to be able to find it😂 🤜🏼🤛🏼
@ the whole area round there used to be full of Zander years back 17 casts resulted in 15 Zander on consecutive casts all roughly 3lb sadly because of the cruel electro fishing numbers have dwindled but the club section is protected and not fried as per the agreement from the club Over the years I’ve had some massive Zander into low doubles admittedly mainly on dead’s but had few high singles on lures There’s not so many zeds but when you find them they get big Still plenty of protected zeds round Hatton locks area a famous zed spot 👍🏼🍻
Definitely on my to do list mate! Just waiting for the weather to get a bit better but I already have a place in North Wales that I'm looking for as well 😁
@@zombiebitefishing yeah man 4h isnt too bad mate theres a coffee bar and kayaking toilets its been done really nice this year fairplay. year ago it was a dump mate, its cleaned up well and is a manned security and licence wardens camping is available for members 2000 odd perch released as well as the pike.. i just posted my hard lures going to do soft baits today.. youll laugh when you see it all lol
@BenshobbyStuff is it fishing good at the moment then? Definitely worth a go, just really want to make sure I'm going with a bit of better weather, not just because of the fishing but driving as well.
What tips do you have for fishing in the colder months? I almost exclusively fish my canal which is shallow and only really reaches about 6lb pike with most being around 1lb. I don't really know what to change from my spring and summer techniques to tackle the colder weather.
To be honest, it's quite difficult during the winter, I struggle a lot. I normally try to start with a lure that can create a reaction strike, like a chatterbait, spinnerbait or jerkbait, if that doesn't work I try to use a paddle tail jigged of the bottom with really big pauses. Last resort I'll go for a creature bait/craw and just drag it across the bottom really slow. Most of the fish are going to be sitting on the bottom apart from a small feeding window spell, if you're lucky enough you're going to catch them during that time, if not just try everything you have in your tackle box 😅 good luck buddy!
Are there any new species you’re hoping to cross off your bucket list this year?
Good 👍 📹 and a nice pike
@petercooper9694 thanks a lot mate 👍
Pike for freshwater and tuna for salt
@Oldbasshole hopefully you'll get those this year Patrick 🤞
@ hopefully the tuna !!! The pike will definitely happen sooner or later but the tuna is going to take some effort
Great angling brother! 🔥💪
Thanks a lot brother 🙏 🤘
Love the honesty of your channel. Its normal to blank this time of year.
Thanks a lot mate! It means a lot really. I'm glad you still enjoy the videos even when fishing is not great 😁

It really is tough at the moment. All the rain and big swings in weather have not helped. Great looking water, great video.
Tough, most people I talk to are struggling the last couple of weeks Thanks a lot mate!
Nice vid bruv. That pike was a stunner
Thanks bro! Beautiful, I love the darker coloured pike! Those and the really green ones, I just found them in reservoirs though
Great video as always📹 I've got a nature reserve lake near me, not sure if there's pike in there but i will definitely give it a go 👍

Thanks a lot bro! I caught my first 2 zander last year, not long ago, but they were tiny 😅 I'll definitely be targeting them again this year 😁
