I do like how B.E.S counters are basically lives. It's really neat.
In the Gradius games these bosses have several layers of shields you have to destroy one by one to reach their central core (the blue orb you see in their artworks). I think the counters are supposed to represent the shield layers.
sadly you do not get extra gems for the counter the only counter that count for that are spellcounter :D i hate it

-Zelos adds 1 counter to special summoned BES monsters bringing 3 counters to 4
-Yes Dyson Sphere is one of my favorite monsters how did you know (clueless)
pretty cool stuff, was my favorite deck on the bottom tablr so far. Are you also a fan of shoot em up games like touhou and ikaruga, or do you like the archetype mainly for it's gameplay?
@@m7inI really liked the gameplay of the deck as I can’t resist a gimmick I find really cool but it has been a long while since I have played a Touhou game. I might get back into Touhou again sometime in the future

Why didn't you use the first effect of Chaos Dyson Sphere to get some burn damage without detaching?
This was some of the most fun I've had watching yugioh. I especially loved the part where farfa thought the masq activation was a bes effect.

I love that the B.E.S. Field + Continuous spell just turn every ship into a pseudo Kozmo ship.. truly Kozmo at home.

Unironically that Amazoness grind game was one of the funnest matches I've ever watched. Low level stuff is much more enjoyable than meta 2-turn die roll simulators imo.
Curious if that player even had the trap that non-targeting banishes anything that battles an amazoness🤔(ambush or onslaught?) Sure the few who played duel links years back have ptsd from the deck lol
@@thug0101 Onslaught. Amazoness death by snoosnoo was horrifying but Amazoness are kinda power crept now. Any deck that have space for MST carries it.

I'm torn between sending in replays of Amazoness and Ancient Gear, both are fun decks that I mess with that suit this series
I'm so pissed about that player. Using dogshit like Willpower and Fighting Spirit but not at all using Call or most importantly, Onslaught

There's literally no reason to play these cards, they all get outclassed by something else, but it's fun and that's all that matters

If you think silver spright players are bad you should see silver tear players. They'll activate a bajillion effects only to end on a mudragon
I watch some of the funniest tear player in duel live, dude have full combo uninterupted and for some reason end on redoer with reino heart and agido as a material, dead sulliek and cryme on field with zero card in hand, shit is hillarious
I've encountered an ai duelist in Duel Links that play BES and I don't know it managed to pull of having the BES get attacked with 0 counters and yet they stay in the field and not destroyed by their effects.
That Amazoness deck reminded me of one I faced on ladder, I took a bit of a break so I was Ranking up through gold very easily with Musket Runic, It is probably just because Gold players aren't the best pilots but I was absolutely owning every Tear player I ran across, but right as I was about to rank out of Gold 1 I went first against Amazoness and they beat me, My turn 1 board was kind mid that game but still, I guess I would rather lose to a random bottom of the barrel deck than the meta, but it did make me question reality.
Tear 0 beware. BES deck out there will give you a scare.

As an amazoness player, literally all they had to do was get Onslaught and they win the duel, but instead of that, they decided to get literally every single S/T that literally does nothing to help
So the archetype is Galaga/Bullet hell type games with 3 lifes each.
I love funny gimmicks.
The counters represent 3 barriers protecting the core of these ships, which are all just variants of the original Big Core
To me B.E.S. was always an Xyz Deck. You Summon Tetran with 1 counter due to the field, remove that counter to pop backrow, then swing with it so it destroys itself in end phase. Then with multiple Boss Rushes you can drop 2 monsters of the same Level from the Deck, and make follow up Xyz plays.
2 Crystal Cores make Cyber Dragon Nova which makes Infinity, 2 Mk-3 or Blaster Cannon Core makes V.F.D. or now that he's banned makes Enterblathnir, etc.
It's still too slow to be even remotely playable, though. If there was some continuous trap that let you Xyz Summon on the opponent's Standby or Main Phase like a re usable Wonder Xyz I reckon you could actually make something out of these cards.
Honestly, seeing Chaos Dyson Sphere made this entirely funny, imagine, having your entire decks strategy just outed by an old XYZ that no-one uses.
This is my FAVORITE archetype, but I really wish they would give it more love to be viable

Onslaught is literally one of the best cards in the archetype. Swordswoman, Queen, Onslaught alone beats a lot of ass

i climbed to plat with magnet warrior. you can play whatever you want eventually you will hit higher elo lol
playing spright in silver is just like this. I try to not use gamma burst for an easy win but it is just optimal for quick victory many times.
This table really is the bottom, holy shit what were these duels?
I remember tinkering a bit with the deck after the field spell came out. Was actually a fun deck if you splash with Metalfoes to plus like crazy thanks to boss rush filling your field and Tetran starting your plays by popping Combination or your scales.
Unfortunately MR4 destroyed that deck. 2 less zones makes the backrow way too cramped and no free pend from extra is also rough...
