I feel like a lot of the titles and thumbnails attached to these videos could be viewed in some respect as click bait, based on the fact that its a 15 min vid and he only addresses the topic in the title for a couple mins near the end. BUT with that said the rest of the run time is always entertaining and incredibly informative. I’m a huge fan, dramatic titles or not 😂
Daughter: Oh, mummy! I want to be a mummy!
Mum: Not sure what to make of that...
Never laughed so hard at death ,just love this guy narration skills are dope
Walking in the catacombs be like:
Ohhhh boy this is creepy...
*Oh look its uncle bob!*
Uncle Bob: Hi! How are ye!
"Not that i got nothing against your mum"
Lol
Despite not being a fan of morbid things, that's a place I feel like I'd like to visit, some day. And then immediately regret doing it on the same night and the subsequent nights due to the nightmares I'll likely have, but still... sounds like an interesting experience to be had at least once in life.
Is it bad that I’d go in with whiskey to toast all of the mummies?
@@genghiskhan6809 lol
@@genghiskhan6809 you would need plenty of whiskey
“Get me Armani!” When discussing bringing new outfits to the dead. That made me laugh harder than I have in a long time. Thank you
Been there. Definitely worth seeing of you're in Palermo. Rosalia is remarkable; really appears to just be sleeping.
I have to say you've really become quite something. To me you used to be my go to 10th choice after I got bored with everything else. Now I have a hard time finding things that take priority over your #1 spot in my watch list. I'm not sure exactly what changed over the years despite the mustache but this channel is as entertaining to me now as VSauce was to me 2 years ago. Good on you for sticking to it, this stuff is gold to me right now.
interesting... I guess that means ill have to watch more
@@Smokerolla Yeah, I mean it could just be personal taste, but I appreciate things that teach and make me think instead of just waste time.
Modern trendy person: "Eating a mummy?! Gross!"
Same person: * Eats capsules containing other people's "healthy" poop. *
Do u fart?
Of course eating mummies was superstitious, while consuming gut bacteria has been proven to have benefits for some people
@J T there are stomach bacteria, they evolved to survive stomach acid, beyond that it works, if it workers something is surviving
Thanks, I did not need to know that.
@J T you can get good digestive bacteria from things other than fecal matter, I think, I might be wrong.
WAIT HANG ON JUST A SNOW DRINKING SECOND
YOUR NOT SLIPPING THAT SHIT @2:06 PASSED ME LOL
13:25 save you the time tediously waiting for it.
waiting 13 minutes for 2 sentences. clickbait much.

@@MrNuubstar to be fair I might do the same, but I’m always grateful when someone offers a shortcut.

I'm dead inside and I blink well more than twice a day...
Same. I'm dead from the inside but blink alot. I'm offended I'm not in this video.
Stfu
@@Sunflowersarepretty Ha. It is pretty offensive when they leave us out like that. In my case, I guess I need a card from the Queen first to qualify... not 100 yet.
@@shady8261 Take your own advice buddy.
🥱
3:46 "Palmero", thats a quite fancy name for Palermo😂✌🏼
Great videos, thank you for your effort to make such well researched and well told stories!👏👏👏
Fun fact mummy brown is an oil paint that has been banned from use for a long time because actual mummy bits were ground up and added to it for the color development
Beautiful production quality, especially the animations. Very well done. Lots of good humor, too! Love it.
"Sir, this is a McDonalds drive through."
Drive thru but sure
Mcdonald's food is mummified, too. In 1000, years, the only proof of our society will be McD's food that still looks the same as the day it was cooked.
Ecce Hamburger :D
I’ve been watching your videos since you started RUclips so glad to still be watching to this day, keep it up honest one of the best RUclipsrs out here
Thanks for always bringing out such great quality bangers Arran! Love your channel mate, Keep up the great stuff thoughty2!
Q: Why couldn’t the mummy go to school with the witch?
A: He couldn’t spell.
Haha'nt
This comment is fire, people just don't get the joke yet lol.
i dont get it
LMAOO
@@Nisowyd it was worded pretty bad. Witches are known to cast spells while mummies don't cast spells
Original title "Why Does This 100-Year-Old Corpse Blink Twice Every Day?".
Ngl, I thought he'd change the title of the video like 5 times when posting this.
Thank you. I think
Yes.
Really? I think.
That is technically the original title
Havent changed it
Fun fact: the honey found in Egyptian tombs is still perfectly safe to eat because honey literally does not expire. Like ever. If it crystallizes you just heat it up a little bit and it's good as new.
Are you my Mummy? I'm sure fellow Doctor Who fans will get the reference.
I see you're a man of culture aswell
The good episodes too
That was one the Creepiest episodes to me! That one and Don't Blink!
empty child love doctor what
Now, I haven't heart that question in a while.
"impervious to even the strongest acid"
followed by "most underrated positives of dying"
I thought you were gonna say “they are all dead!” When you said what they all had in common in the beginning
I love how this man seconds about a minute answering the question in his videos' titles but most of his videos' unrelated content is as interesting
I had an idea for a comedic action mummy/zombie-themed film/cartoon where we have an undead mummy that awakens, everyone at first thinks it's an evil monster terrorizing people... but plot twist it's one of the good guys trying to save the living from the creepy real villains and their ancient necromancer leader, basically, this mummy becomes a sort-of supernatural superhero and revealed to be a part of a legendary team of ancient preserved heroes now known as the 'Zombie-Warriors'...
Sounds like a toy line/cartoon they would have come up with in the 80s.
Look up the web series/comic _Xombie_ (yes spelled with the X), it has a similar, although very different, premise. At the very least it may inspire your idea.
That sounds like the 2003 cartoon series Tutenstein, where a teenage pharaoh dies, is embalmed as a mummy and wakes up in 21st century as a museum attraction after a teenage girl and her cat accidentally bump into his sarcophacus.
@@UmbraBlades Wow, nearly forgot about that series. I'm not sure which country you're from but the title I remember it as is "Mummies Alive". Exact same cartoon though.
I liked it until the last part
I have always been so interested in Egyptology, but just realized I’d never heard where the term mummy came from!! Super interesting fact!!
Because you're a poser.

oof on god😂
@oof blink twice if you want me to delete.
I love his jokes, sarcasm and cheeky comments he sprinkles in throughout his videos. 😂
3:43 the way he said Palermo got me gasping for air.
Palmero xD
It was definitely a gasp worthy moment!
I visited Palermo's catacombs a few years ago and it smelled like dry dust, it wasn't that unpleasant tbh
Why would 800 ppl dislike this!? It's an amazing channel. Keep at it mate.
Because it's literally high quality click bait
Oh..poor little girl..
Beautiful in life..and perfect in her preserved state.
R.I.P..little one x
I've been to the catacombs of San Francisco under Lima. It is one of the creepiest places I've ever seen. When you're face to face with someone's skull, it really makes you think. Couldn't imagine it blinking at me!
Fun fact: honey is one of the only foods that can never expire.
What about sugar?
@@neoxgoat4097 lol, no sugar doesn’t technically spoil but it’s recommended you toss it at the end of two years.
Not true. My grandma makes fruitcakes that serve as a holiday doorstops for all the family.
We have one thats about 8 years old now. Do you think anyone is about to try a slice? Try is the key word here. Trying to cut a piece out requires mallet and chisel.
@@AngryHybridApe we’re talking about honey, not your grandmas fruitcake.
@@AngryHybridApe I love fruitcake, but this is about honey.
So Abba singing Mama mia is almost a song about bitumin in Persian.
Knowing youtubers do mistakes to warm up the comment section but also admiring the greatness of Thoughty2 I'm a bit confused with the spelling of Palermo
That poor little girl. I have a 2.5 year old little girl and that just made me feel horrible and almost cried.
I honestly forgot the actual reason for this video. I strongly believed it was about mummies, until he starts talking about the actual title, and I'm like: "Oooohhh. I forgot about the blinking thing..."

15% of the video: 140-year-old dead body that blinks several times daily
